I’m so glad I bought this beautiful omnibus because this series was phenomenal! Ringdweller was a fast-paced epic fantasy. It was full of magic, monsters, amazing battles, political intrigue, and a nice, slow burn romance! All of the characters were lovable and really well written, my favorite was definitely Hatan! I particularly enjoyed the idea of the planet being tidally locked. It made for a really unique world, which greatly added to the story.

Through his writing, Brady Hunsaker was able to take me on an epic journey through a beautifully crafted world. He was also able to conclude that story in a very satisfying and entertaining way. This is a trilogy that all fantasy fans should add to their shelf!

I got this book as an omnibus from the authors kickstarter! I finally got a chance to sit down and read it. My review may have spoilers for the entire series.

Ok, for me, the story started out real rocky. I found the first two books to be so incredibly boring, and there's so many things I didnt like. The only thing that kept me reading is the world building and plot. I was curious enough to push through. Im really disappointed in the first 2 books because the magic system, romance, and characters were lacking.

I found Migo to be so annoying. I didnt understand why him and his mom hated each other. It was only telling me why and not showing. There's only one interaction between Migo and his mother. So the seething hatred doesnt seem to be there. Considering how much of the book follows the hatred between the two, it had me very confused and annoyed. Katsi, while not having the issues I had with Migo, still didnt seem like a real character to me. None of her story felt real or tension filled. So by the time they met and fell in love, I didnt believe it. Especially with the hatred Migo had with Shamans.

Now book 2 was still the same issues but again, I was so dang curious on how the plot would end up resolving and wanting to know how it all ended. Thankfully I pushed through because book 3 was AMAZING!!! Literally the writing, character development, villians, and story all came together in perfect harmony. Migo and Katsi really grew on me as characters and their romance blossomed. The magic system was a bit lacking still but I didnt care. The rest was just utter perfection. I was rooting so hard for Migo and his growth was just *chefs kiss*

As a whole, because how amazing book 3 was, I'm rating this as high as I did. I will definitely come back to this author again. While the first two book wasn't what I expected, I genuinely enjoyed how the story ended and developed.
