I wasn't too disappointed in this artbook, and I enjoyed it overall, but for what I paid for it I wasn't hoping for more than this.
There are plenty of double page spreads of backgrounds and locations, as well as thumbnail sized storyboard breakdowns for certain scenes, but from an art perspective you could easily read it in 10 minutes or less. Unfortunately the written sections don't add much to the value of the book as they're largely just interviews about the making of the show and how to get into animation.
There really wasn't anything in the book itself that was worth reading, as the interviews didn't interest me or inform me of anything I didn't already know or care about, and the rest of the writings are just blurbs or synopsis about what you're seeing on the page that don't tend to go past a sentence or two. Because of that my rating has been given solely on what I deem its value as an artbook to be.
