Rescuing Little Reese

Rate this book
A desperate call to Rawhide Ranch sends Arlo Flint out on a rescue mission.

But the moment he lays eyes on sweet Little Reese Reynolds, he knows it isn’t only her animals who need rescuing. Reese is hiding something, a secret so painful she won’t even tell her closest friend.

For the first time in eighteen years, Arlo finds himself wanting to be a Daddy again. To punish his Little girl when she’s naughty, to coddle and pamper and pleasure her when she's good.

To hold her and comfort her when she finds the strength to confront her demons.

And to be the one to finally give her the home she’s always wanted.

Tucked in the countryside with her family and numerous stuffies, Allie Belle writes the stories she has always wanted to read. She loves the idea of being a Little to a strong, stern Daddy and explores the dynamic in every way she can.

When not writing, you can find her snuggled under her princess blanket with her kindle or watching trashy reality TV.

Rescuing Reese
I love RR in general. So no surprise I also enjoyed this story. Reese and arlo were just 🥰👌 Two horse/animal lovers and lots of patience with the dd lg dynamic thrown in was so cute.
-Reese has been working with rescued animals for a while on a sweet older couples ranch but sadly their skeezie son is taking it over and think he can also take over Reese. 🤢
-Reese calls her bestie Wren (from RR) to help get the animals away to safety and this is where our intro to RR and arlo all stems from.
-our h is sweet and strong. Even when the cards are stacked against her she’s not giving up and finds the positive side to it.
-arlo is strong, patient H whose is so good to Reese. I loved how respectful he was and how kind he was to her with every little bump that came up. He was like just a rock honestly.
-as usual we see little peeks of some of our other RR friends which I always love lol
-this one was lighter on the spice or I guess bc it seems to start later but that’s ok since it worked for this story line
-spanking
-DD LG dynamic
-age play

ALWAYS REPORT AN ATTACK AND GET HELP

To anyone attacked or abused…ALWAYS call 911 immediately or as soon as you are safe and report the attack or abuse. (Chapter 2 page 13-14) ALWAYS wait to clean up and get rid of any evidence after the police have taken a report and pictures. (Chapter 2 page 14) NEVER feel like the attack or abuse was your fault. (Chapter 9 page 97) NEVER downplay what truly happened and how it made or makes you feel. (Chapter 10 page 105) NEVER feel an obligation to not hurt someone else’s feelings by reporting the attack or abuse. If they truly care about you and love you, they will support you through everything and help you in any way they can. If they do not, then it shows their true colors and you should be happy you did not let them stop you from reporting the incident. (Chapter 2 page 15) Do NOT feel like you have to hide your emotions or what happened to you. You do NOT have to keep the trauma inside. There are so many resources and people to talk to that will help you through the very trying situation and the after effects it caused. (Chapter 5 pages 56-57) And please, please talk to those closest to you or you are around constantly so if the abuser or attacker show up they know the threat the person is and can get you away from that person. (Chapter 9 pages 95-96) When you report an abuser or attacker, not only are you holding them accountable for their actions, you are also helping yourself, but you could also save someone else in the future from being harmed as much, if not worse than you, because most abusers escalate. The authors finally brought most of this to light in Chapter 9 page 96 then turned around and ruined it by having Reese refuse to still file a police report. (Chapter 9 page 104) At least she brought up the fact that our society is so backwards the victim is usually blamed for the abuse or attack. (Chapter 10 page 105) The fact there was no closure to Ernie attacking her about going to the police, pressing charges, and him having to pay for his crime made this whole book even worse.

This book is almost a step-by-step guide on what NOT to do if abused or attacked. The only thing this book had going for it was there were not many grammar issues.

I never leave a written review but my conscious will not let me not write this so anyone attacked or abused will not do anything Reese did. At Chapter 2 page 11 I was appalled to say the least. If she could find the voice recording app on her phone without looking, she could dial 911 without looking. By page 16 I was infuriated. No one should brush off being attacked and not call the police. I finished the book just hoping the authors redeemed themselves, but unfortunately, they never did.

Shame on anyone that had anything to do with this book that did not stop this and use the opportunity to stop the vicious cycle society has created that the person attacked or abused cannot and should not go to the police and get help immediately. Shame on them for also continuing the stereotype that the person attacked or abused is responsible and should just “suck it up” and deal with it. And shame on them for not showing that the abuser or attacker should be held accountable for their actions immediately without remorse from the person that was attacked or abused.

There was so many ways to write this to get to the same conclusion without having Reese roll over and allow her attacker to walk away and not be held accountable. And then to have her fix her clothes and start feeding the animals as if her own safety and mental health were not important? Really? Especially since she is going to veterinarian school so she is obviously intelligent enough to know all of this and is also not Little enough that she cannot think for herself or function in society.

I lost all respect for Reese. I lost all respect for both authors. I lost all respect for the editors. I lost all respect for the publishers. I even lost all respect for the arc readers and other people who have left reviews for not being honest and bringing this to the authors attention that they need to change this part of the story. And if they did, and the authors do not listen, then even more shame to them.

Heartwarming addition to a great series

"Rescuing Little Reese" by Eden Bradley and Allie Belle is a heartwarming addition to the beloved Littles of Rawhide Ranch series. As a fan of the series, I found this book to be another outstanding installment that truly captures the essence of love, care, and community that Rawhide Ranch embodies.

The characters in this book are incredibly sweet and well-developed. My heart ached for Reese as she faced the heartbreaking news that the home she had come to love was disappearing, and the animals she cared for were at risk. Reese's background as a former foster child added depth to her story, highlighting her strong bond with the animals she considered family. The unconditional love and trust she found in them were beautifully portrayed.

Arlo, a gentle and kind-hearted soul, brought a wonderful dynamic to the story. His readiness to retire took an unexpected turn when he met Reese, and his life was transformed in the best possible way. His understanding and support of Reese's connection with her animals were incredibly touching. Arlo’s commitment to helping Reese ensure the animals were loved and cared for added a layer of warmth to the narrative.

Rawhide Ranch has always been about fostering love and care, and this story is a perfect example of that spirit. Watching the community come together to create that magical Rawhide Ranch experience brought a smile to my face. No matter how many books are written in this series, the authors consistently find ways to make each story unique and captivating, which is truly impressive.

"Rescuing Little Reese" is a testament to the incredible storytelling of Eden Bradley and Allie Belle. It's another amazing book to add to an already fantastic series, and I can't wait to see what magic they bring to Rawhide Ranch next.

Such an incredible inner strong woman I love Reese story so much it’s inspiring in my opinion she never gives up when everything feels like is going to the ground! This story is heartbreaking but heartfelt at the time my feelings were all invested in this read it’s definitely a keeper! All the animals I feel like rescued her as much as she did them I love their bond reactions with each other especially the bossy P he is probably one of my favorites to date animal characters. Reese is amazing character along with her instant chemistry with Arlo I love how they are with each other. He is so understanding patient and willing to help anyway he can from day one I feel like they naturally bring out the best in one another. Especially not letting Reese get in her thoughts to much along with other things there is so much to love enjoy in this book trust me you don’t want to miss it! It’s funny, easy to get hooked into, quick read, lots of getting to know people/ yourself, fast paced, happy ending and much more!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story as I do every other story about the Rawhide Ranch. Reese has been taken care of rescue animals on a friends ranch, but when their son determines that he is going to take over, he thinks that he has some saying what Reese does, and when he tries to force her to his way, she contacts her best friend Wren who lives on the Rawhide Ranch, her friend organises for trucks and transport for the animals, that is when she meets her future Daddy, Arlo. Reese had been reading about becoming a Little, but had no experience. Arlo was happy to help her and eventually they were able to work through their feelings, especially about Reese and whether she wanted to be a Little. There was a petting zoo that was created on the ranch, and all the Littles were happy most especially Reese with her daddy Arlo, and they are married and go to live happily ever after.

I was given an advanced copy of this book to read and I am reviewing with my honest and fair opinion.

Reese is a hardworking person. She loves her rescue animals and when the son of her employers threaten to have them put down, she knows it’s time to leave. And when that weasels tries to harm her, she calls the only person she can. Wren quickly arranges for help and Master Derek calls in reinforcements. Reese and her little farm are quickly moved to Rawhide Ranch. Arlo is ready to retire. Working on the Ranch but not having a Little had him thinking until Reese. Reese calls to his Daddy side and they quickly fall into a working relationship which develops into something more.
This is another wonderful read. I love how Master Derek is quick to arrange a place for Reese and her animals to stay and how the Littles help with everything as well

This is such a sweet story. I loved Reese and her tender heart. As a fellow animal lover and parrot owner, I loved all the scenes with the animals. The way Reese care for them melted my heart from the beginning. Then there's Arlo. He's also an animal lover, but he's ready to step back from caring for them full time. He's older than Reese and protective in a tender way. He isn't overbearing or overly dominant, and that's just the kind of Daddy Reese needs.

This story is more of a slow burn when it comes to the spice, but there's still a lot of steamy scenes. The connection between Arlo and Reese was fantastic and I loved meeting up with all the RR crew. I.
This is a fantastic addition to the series.

I loved this story. Reese is so adorable, and her animals make me want to pet them.
This story has its dark moments, but the pausing is pure bliss. Reese deserves her happy ever after, and this story does not disappoint.
Arlo is the perfect daddy for Reese. Alone for years, having given up on finding his little. All set to live his life peacefully, he helps rescue Reese and her menagerie. He was immediately drawn to her and she to him. Where he had all the experience, she had none. The perfect blend of love and hope bring them together.
Throw in Sadie, Hailey, Master Derek, and a multitude of others to give a well-rounded and happy story.
I highly recommend this book, series, and authors.

Such a sweet story with a little just figuring out her dynamic and where she belongs. Her friend Wren rescues her, but Rawhide seems to good to be true. And she's been disappointed before. Arlo offers to be both her Daddy and assistant but she knows it won't be forever. There is a definite age gap with these two characters, but thankfully the authors don't make it much of the storyline. Bigger issues like Reese's trust that she is good enough to have good things happen to her are highlighted. She also learns she can be naughty and although she might suffer the consequences, her friends and especially her Daddy will never give up on her. Great HEA.

Rescuing Little Reese is a new Rawhide Ranch story. It is a quick read that is very sweet. Reese is a friend of Wren's and calls her for help when she and her menagerie of rescue animals are threatened. Of course, Master Derek and others come to her rescue to bring her and her animals to the ranch. One of the others is Arlo, a Daddy who has been looking for a Little for many years. He quickly realizes that Reese is that Little. The two tap dance around one another initially, but after Arlo breaks the ice with a spanking, everything is full speed ahead.

I enjoyed the story, primarily where the Littles work together to get the new petting zoo off the ground.

Such an adorable story.

I love the instantaneous chemistry between Arlo and Reese. I found Reese's interaction with her support animal to be tongue in cheek and oh so humourous.

Reese has an engaging personality that makes her immediately likeable, she makes the best of what life deals her and deserves every nice thing that comes her way. Even so, she needs the unique help that Rawhide Ranch specializes in.

Arlo definitely gets his world turned topsy turvy with the Ranch's latest rescue, but who rescues who? Wonderful love story.

This was another great story from the Rawhide Ranch series. Allie Belle and Eden Bradley are exceptional authors. This story will have you feeling all types of emotions and is a must read. You will fall in love with Reese and her animals especially Bossy P. You will also see some characters from past Rawhide Ranch books. Watching Arlo who hasn't gotten to be a Daddy in a long time get the chance to save not only the animals but Reese as well is sweet. Their journey to love is definitely a heart warming one. This is a quick read. You won't want to put it down.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I absolutely loved reading this book I couldn't put the book down, the story was written really well and the characters were sensational. Reese has not lived a pleasant life it has been hard, she has been living on a farm and looking after animals but when her animals are threatened by the person that treats her horrible. Then there is Arlo who came to her rescue, made her feel safe there might be an age gap between them but Arlo was her saviour, protector with alot of love aswell as a daddy.

Enjoyable story about a new Little at Rawhide Ranch that comes with animals she has been caring for as a sort of rescue that are being threatened with termination by a greedy family member of the farm/ranch where they currently reside. The main character is written sweetly and has been fighting on her own for many years to take care of herself. She meets Arlo one of the hands from Rawhide Ranch and begins a relationship with him. However I felt their friendship moved too fast to full blown daddyism and that were too many story lines that were introduced but never satisfied.

Such a delightful, heartwarming story! I love the Rawhide Ranch stories and this one is no exception! Reese loves animals and rescues them, but one day something happens to threaten all that so she calls her good friend and she ends up at the Ranch! Never in a million years expecting to find the man of her dreams! Arlo works at the Ranch and hopes to someday find his Little girl, so when he comes upon Reese, he is instantly smitten. These two have a connection like no other. Arlo is the perfect person for Reese and shows her that he will love and protect her forever. I thoroughly enjoyed their witty banter and their chemistry is off the charts. I really enjoyed this story and fell in love with Reese and Arlo!

This is the latest addition to the Rawhide series. It is a standalone though you may see some familiar characters. Reese and Arlo are so cute together. Her love of aninals and her support animal is just perfect. Arlo works at the Ranch and has been dreaming of finding his Little for so long. One rescue mission and suddenly he knows she's his. They have an instantaneous connection and are just adorable together. This was such a cute story to add to the series.

Rescuing Little Reese is a quick Rawhide Ranch standalone read that ends with a sweet Happily Ever After. Grab this book … It takes readers on a trip to Rawhide Ranch. There are heart pounding sexy scenes and fun scenes with a bossy parrot and a menagerie of animal friends. If you’ve read other books in this series you’ll get to see some “littles & BIGs” from previous stories. Grab this book; it provides a few tears and a whole lot of smiles that shouldn’t be missed.

Reese and Arlo

This is a very good, well written, DD/LG romance. The characters are interesting and lovable. Reese was in the ‘system’ since she was 5 years old and thought she found her place with an older couple and rescue animals. One big problem, their son, Ernie. One question, What happened to Ernie? Arlo was ready for early retirement until he meets Reese during her rescue and becomes her assistant. Read how far her stay at RR goes?

Good story

Please be aware this story involves age play and consensual discipline. If these storylines bother you, don't read and then base your review on your dislike of the lifestyle.
So glad to see well find someone. This addition to the rawhide family was really good and more like the stories that first drew me to them. It would have been nice to know what happened to the male protoganist.

This is a cute story featuring Littles, Daddies, and animals. It's heartwarming and has the right length, so I might read more from this series. Arlo, the MMC, might be a little too old though. Especially in the beginning, it's said that he is ready to retire and he has some back pain, I thought he must be very old (like a grandpa). It's later revealed that he's in his late 40s, which is a little bit better, but I still have the grandpa image in my head......

I loved Reese and Arlo. I am so glad Reese got away from Ernie with her animals. I must say that Bossy P made me smile a lot. Arlo is such a great Daddy for her and their connection was there from the start. I also loved the petting zoo.

I read an ARC and am leaving my honest and voluntary review.

This book has everything - a lost Little, a Daddy, lots of friends from prior books, and animals! Reese is threatened not only personally but with losing the home for the animals she has rescued - a call to her friend, Wren, who lives at Rawhide results in an immediate evacuation to the safety of the Ranch. From there, it just gets better!

I received an ARC and freely offer this review.

This amazing read had me in the palm of its hand right from the very first chapter. I absolutely loved Reese and Arlo. They got my heart aching and then they melted it into a puddle of pure mushy goo. Sweet, spicy, emotional and super swoon worthy, this romance was utter perfection, and I can't wait to read much more of this new series.

This was a wonderful and sweet story. Reese is put in a bad spot and calls her best friend, Wren. When Master Derek arranges for Reese and her animals to come to Rawhide Ranch, it just made me love him even more. Arlo has wanted his own little for a long time and when he sees Reece, he knows she is the one for him. I loved seeing previous characters and I just love Arlo and Reese's story.

Rescuing Little Reese

Reese, A foster child all grown up, calls on her friend, Wren, for help. Bad things have happened and her rescue animals need to be rescued! The Ranch jumps into action and we see that all will be as it should be.
This is a quick, fun read with an extra side of kink. It is oh, so good! Bossy P is the best!

Bedazzled it!

What a wonderful addition to the Rawhide Ranch world!
Master Derek & little miss Sadie continue to weave their magic at Rawhide Ranch.

As a Little farm girl myself, Reese & her animals really tugged at my heartstrings. I do wish she'd had a chance to make things right with her (almost) grandparents.

It's a quick read that covers lots of ground. The animals are great characters & fit in well with the Ranch's human residents.

Reese has a large heart filled with love for people and animals alike.
Arlo is a Daddy who has been looking for his new forever little.
An awful experience threw them together in a rescue event.
