A hard-boiled sword and sorcery short story, MUTTON is the first book in the Tales of Cruxia Short Stories series by Carter Reynolds.
Very nice introduction to the world. Interesting characters and plot made it very easy to read in a sitting. Looking forward to reading more of these stories.
A fantastic short story from a new world of deep and fully fleshed out lore. Reynolds wastes no time establishing relatable characters before they’re begrudgingly thrown into a perilous job.
An easy read for all lovers of fantasy with a fresh splash of noir to it, and an ending that leaves the reader satisfied but eager for the next installment.
