Overall series review - 5 cutesy funny✨
I love this manhwa for many reasons but to keep it short and sweet there are plenty of cute misunderstandings leading to hilarious situations & sweet romance.

Este Manhwa es un 5 desde primer capítulo!
Definitivamente Jubels🐭 es todo lo que está bien, es una protagonista fuerte, atrevida, nunca se quedaba como una estupida cuando ocurrían las cosas esperando que viniera otra persona a resolverle todo, siempre estaba corriendo a tratar de solucionarlo ella misma (la escena con Max en el balcón!! 100/10 me encanto como reacciono! Sería yo totalmente)
Max es uno de los husbands más bellos que he leído, me encanto su evolución como personaje, te extrañare mi gatito negro🐈⬛
Mención honorífica a REGIS🐺 y a LICHE🦊! Oh Dios mío, ustedes dos fueron los que me hicieron el Manhwa!
Regis lo diste todo por tu familia, en todos los caps que se centraban en ti estaba llorando!😭 y Liche eres todo lo que pido cuando quiero una segunda protagonista, eres demasiado buena amiga/hermana/persona, te ame demasiado
En conclusión este Manhwa va DIRECTO a mi top 3! Porque es uno de los mejores historical manhwa que existen, así que lo recomiendo con los ojos cerrados

Been following this manhwa for years, feels very bitter sweet that it's over. But the ending was very sweet and fitting for the story. Happy they all got their happy ending.

Father, I Don’t Want this Marriage is another transmigration/regressed manhwa that did it right! I remember seeing this manhwa last 2023 but it was still ongoing at that time so I decided to get back to it once it’s finished! And as expected, it took me quite a while lol. But oh well, better late than never right, *wink.
Father, I Don’t Want this Marriage is a story of a modern Korean woman who transmigrated into the body of the story’s pitiful villainess. After waking up in her body, she worked hard to change the ending wherein the villainess died. While doing so, she found herself confused because the father who was supposed to be cold to the villainess in the story suddenly shows concern and love for her. Did she successfully get rid of her death flag ending this time?
As you can see in my rating above, I ended up loving this manhwa so much! I was actually surprised because I read a few of its chapters before so that already gave me a hint on how this story will go. I guess it was thanks to the amazing story telling plus those informative and usually funny extras each chapter, hehehe.
There’s a lot of plot twists in this manhwa which left me baffled, so I really can’t wait for you to experience it too. This manhwa also didn’t focus on the FL’s villainess past which is understandable because of her circumstances, but you can’t hear any complaints from me because this manhwa gave me some funny banter between the characters, cute graphics and satisfying love not just romantically but also love between family and friends.
As for the characters, aside from the antagonists, I LOVE everyone! The main characters were very likeable while the side characters were chaotic, wahahaha. I love seeing the FL’s growth throughout the story. Her character design looks like a damsel in distress waiting for her prince, but you’ll be surprised by her courage. You can see her struggling one moment then a minute later you’ll be surprised how she stands her ground and fights. I love that she didn’t just sit around despite being told so by her father and lover, but she ended up rolling her sleeves to help. Also, I really love how cute and at the same time lovely she is. Her character design is chef kisses especially in her childhood.
The ML on the other hand surprised me. His character design looks like a tough guy, so I was really expecting a haughty character to pair it up with. But surprise surprise, this black cat of an ML is equally cute and charming, lol. He always says that about himself, especially at times when he is trying to charm the FL to score points, but he really does look cute and charming at times, lol. I love that he listens so well to FL and is not afraid to cry and kneel just to keep her. He is also very straightforward and has a strong mental health despite his tough childhood. I am really glad that he’s a very good ML considering that red flag MLs are quite a fad these days, lol.
Ofcourse I need to mention the father since he’s basically the second ML of this manhwa, lol. Legis (Juvelle’s father) is probably the most loved character in this manhwa and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s most loved even compared to the main characters lol. I believe it was mostly because of his good looks since he looks perfect. I know that there’s no such thing as perfect, but this dude was the exception (believe me, lol). As for me, I didn’t become a fan instantly. I didn’t like how he treated the FL in the past timeline. That's why I am probably one of the few that loves the main character more than Legis, lol. But as I read further, I started to understand his character. I didn’t like his method, but it’s so hard not to cheer for him because his life is somewhat tragic, huhuhu. I don’t want to say more because I might end up spoiling you guys, so I’ll just stop here, hihi.
The side characters were also very fun to read because they all have unique traits that make it easy to get familiarized and relate to. I believe the side characters equally made this manhwa enjoyable.
And lastly, the villains. They really played their roles so well because I keep on burying them alive in my head everytime they appear lol. I’m glad they all got what they deserve in the end.
Btw, this manhwa has many misunderstandings particularly in the first season, which I surprisingly enjoyed lol. I usually hate misunderstanding elements in my story, but this one was surprisingly amusing, lol. It may seem annoying at first, but it’s so hard to resist their funny POVs and facial expressions, lol, so in the end, I have no choice but to enjoy it, wahahaha.
Speaking of facial expressions, I absolutely love the art. The character design fits all the characters perfectly and the creator also makes sure that everything looks stunning however small of a detail we think it may be. Even those dark scenes look gorgeous! I particularly love the dresses. I believe this manhwa is top tier when it comes to dresses and suits. ALL LOOKS BEAUTIFUL. I also love the animal representation of the main characters which appears quite a lot in the story making it more fun and cute for me. I love it so much!
Just like most manhwas, this also has side stories and I love it so much. Uwaaaahhh, it was so good! There’s even some mature chapters which look really good. This manhwa is actually R16 but mind you, those mature chapters (yep, not just one hehehe) doesn’t look lewd at all. Believe me, it was perfection! Aside from the main character’s side story, we also got Legis and Amelia (Juvelle’s mother) chapters in the side story. Although I would also like to see Riche (ML’s sister) and Victor’s chapters in the side story assuming I’m not just the only one thinking that the two of them ended up together, but that final side story I believe was the perfect ending. Huhuhu, it was a happy ending but a bit bittersweet for Legis.
Pheew, that was quite long, wahahaha. I hope my review above convinced you to try this manhwa out because it’s really good. Have fun!

The end was good ngl .. I felt so bad for the daddy tho 😭 poor guy lost his wife.. why do fl's never have their moms 💀

Capítulos: 67 al 82.
El emperador sigue intentando hacerle daño a Jubel, pero Regis lo impide, la fiesta de la princesa se acerca, Jubel obtiene un silbato para pedir ayuda en caso de necesitarlo y se lo muestra a Max, quien le reafirma sus sentimientos y logra que Jubel acepte los suyos, Regis le pide favores a Max, quien consternado de que su maestro y más fuerte guerrero haga eso, se niega.
Llega la fiesta de Liche (amando la dinámica de hermanos), Mikhail corteja a la princesa, con la bendición de la emperatriz, quien fue amenazada con hacer saber sobre su embarazo, pero Liche se niega a cederle su primer baile y con ayuda de Max logra escapar, Jubel y Liche escapan de la fiesta, Mikhail las molesta y les hace saber sobre el trato con la emperatriz, lo que la lleva a sentirse mal y recomponerse con ayuda de Jubel, intentan marcharse, pero Mikhail las retiene con ayuda de soldados, obligando a Jubel a usar su silbato, esperando la llegada de Max o su padre, sin embargo, llega el príncipe heredero.
Max enloquece cuando descubre que han lastimado a Jubelian, Liche evita que asesine y Jube lo invita a bailar, llamándolo por su nombre y descubriendo la mentira.
Uno de mis caps favs, el 74.
Jubelian rechaza la oferta de tener una relación y cuando esta por marcharse Max se arrodilla, suplica su perdón, confiesa sus miedos (soy lágrimas) y llorando le hace saber que la ama, convenciendo a Jubel de sus propios sentimientos y aceptando que todo lo que sabía del príncipe era incorrecto, besandose por primera vezzzzzzz.
Mientras mis bonitos se disculpan y aceptan su amor, Regis investiga los calabozos, pero es encontrado por el emperador quien invoca al dragón al que esta atado para controlarlo, pero con el recuerdo de su esposa logra salir del trance, aunque permanece ajeno y vuelve a alejarse de Jubel, más tarde Regis obliga a Max a enfrentarlo para asegurarse que será capaz de proteger a Jubelian, pero antes de lastimarlo de seriedad llega su hija llamándolo papá, lo que le causa conmoción, y consigue que Jubel desbloquee recuerdos de pequeña, lo que la hace llorar y abrirse, confesando el miedo que tiene de que su padre vuelva a ser frío con ella de nuevo, Regis se disculpa y charlan adecuadamente, se entera de las mentiras y verdadera relación de los chicos, pero Max se defiende al cuestionarlo sobre el contrato con el emperador. Max descubre que sus vidas estan ligadas, si uno muere, el otro también, por lo que el plan de asesinar a su padre es arriesgado al perder a su maestro, mientras Mikhail le hace saber al emperador que Liche sí tiene poder mágico y puede hacerlo despertar, a cambio de que lo reconozca como su compañero iugh.

Me leí todos los tomos pero solo pondré este.
No sé cuándo lo inicié, quizá hace una semana aproximadamente. Solamente sé que mi corazón se rompió 🥲🥲🥲
Me encantó la historia, sin embargo acepto que me salte como 30 capítulos, no porque fuera aburrido sino porque no puedo soportar el sufrimiento de Legis 😭😭😭😭
Así que me fui hasta casi el final para saber si había final feliz o todo había valido kk. Gracias, fue un final feliz 😀
Pero para mí es un 4/4.5 porque la parte final me parece muy fantasiosa, digo desde el inicio se había establecido que había magia y mana. No obstante, nunca fue una parte importante o muy sobresaliente. Tenía que ser al final donde todos estos Power up salían a la luz, no comprendí mucho (quizá porque me salte capítulos); aún así los sentí muy forzados. Las peleas no son lo mío, menos en una historia que se centra tanto en el romance y el desarrollo de personajes. pero bueno, esa es solo mi opinión.
Ahora sí, el final me dejó destrozada, con el corazón roto, lloré como no tienes idea. Son las 8am y aún sigo aquí con secuelas emocionales.
Y aún así terminé de leer, me hubiera gustado una resurrección, digo si ya había magia y poderes, mínimo un milagro 🥺🥺🥺🥺

Ahora sí, el final me dejó destrozada, con el corazón roto, lloré como no tienes idea. Son las 8am y aún sigo aquí con secuelas emocionales.
Y aún así terminé de leer, me hubiera gustado una resurrección, digo si ya había magia y poderes, mínimo un milagro 🥺🥺🥺🥺

Chapters 65-80
This volume broke me. I cried many times for our Fl's father, Legis. His story is heartwrenching and every single move he makes is in consideration of his daughter. Juvelle is starting to really care and see her father in a completely new light. It's enough to warm my heart. Then we see Max and Juvelle making some serious progress in this volume, too!! They finally resolve a serious misunderstanding about Max's identity and it was one of the highlights. Mikhail is an insect and he needs to learn to keep his grubby hands off the princess and juvelle (he will die by Max's hands at this rate from how often he narrowly survives each encounter).
The friendship between the princess and Juvelle seemed rushed, but they are kindred spirits and honestly understand each other very well. Max's delusional behavior is hilarious, but endearing as always~ <3
I need the next volume to keep being upbeat.. I kept tearing up every so often just remembering the small things like Legis' glasses and the short flashbacks... I need fluffy romance and fatherly love triumph the evils of society.

Overall series review : It’s a good and interesting story that starts with a cliche but develops in so much more. The intrigue is so taking, the humor of the artists made me roar (but who is the real ML, father or the stray cat ??? or are they the final boss?). And so many interesting and developed characters with their own end game, thoughts and perspectives, some who even appear at half the story (this “new contender” who could become “Max’s rival” is just precious). The art is really pretty, even if sometimes I was a bit scared of the height difference between our MC and the others (like I get they are big and she is a “mouse” but when is hand is the size of her torso, it is a bit too much). If you like romance with a dose of magic, action and a good plot, this one is very well tied and detailed (down to the scar appearing on a fanservice illustration that holds meaning toward the end of the story).
Bonus: the epilogue contains spicy scenes for a more mature audience which is actually quite surprising considering the genre of the main story.

Yes! This one delivered premium drama, romance, and “my dad could beat up your dad (and maybe the emperor too)” energy. I am FEASTING.
First of all, Max confessing real love after being Juvelian’s fake boyfriend? The way he just casually breaks the cardinal rule of fake dating tropes...I had to put the book down and fan myself. Meanwhile Juvelian is trying to process both that revelation and the fact that her emotionally constipated father suddenly has the audacity to show genuine affection. Growth everywhere!

It's so mega how he goes off just because Juvelian is crying. Just rides off and enters a house....fast.
And Mikhail's father just yells at his wife because he knows what will happen just because she messes up like that.

I'm so happy that trice and Juvel are becoming friends and this rivalry between her and Max is so great :-) Just siblings.
Emotions a la Inside Out when Juvel finds out who Max is and the tears flowed. Then the story picks up speed again and I can hardly wait to see what happens next. I will never tire of recommending this manwha.

Finally got past one of the big speed bumps to the story and the romance. Things are getting pretty tense as you're starting to understand the stakes more. Kind of mind-blowing how complicated the multiple levels of bad guys are scheming and how the good guys are just struggling to figure out what the schemes are in order to make their plans. At least the Doki Doki romance is finally able to be without any miscommunication in the way anymore. Too bad I have to wait multiple months for the next volume...

I've read these online as webtoons, but I needed to mark them somewhere. Anyway, this story started out so slow and I didn't expect much from it. But I was reading because of the exquisite art and the characters and the misunderstandings were hilarious. But...the plot building it built! 😂 I don't think anyone saw it coming. It was everything. Emotional and heart-wrenching and sweet. Amazing. Gahhhh I have to read it again 😭

Podrían haber abordado más de la novela, la verdad. Me quedé muy corta ya que, fácilmente podríamos haber llegado a los 200 capítulos y habría estado bien.
Los personajes no tuvieron desarrollo (excepto Regis y Max) y no sé, necesitaba más, fue muy apresurado el final.
Esperaré los extras +19, y ojalá unos capítulos más de personajes secundarios.
PD: Quedé inconclusa con Mikhail, ¿QUE FUE DE ÉL?

C’est définitivement mon tome préféré pour le moment 😮💨
Mon cœur a fondu d’amour pour Max et Juvelian. Ils sont tellement mignon ensemble et la vérité a enfin éclatée… J’ai si hâte de les voir évoluer ensemble au grand jour. J’attends leur mariage avec tellement d’impatience 🤭🥰
J’ai adoré la tournure de l’intrigue et nous en apprenant enfin davantage sur le secret du père de Juvelian.

it's kind of fluffy, and amusing isekai book you're going to love. everything turned into a happily ever after. though i was so certain that someone is going to die but fortunately no one did.

Great story! Enjoyed the twists and turns throughout the series; though a bit slow to start, there was good character development. The there are parts of the story that are so heartbreaking, and some of the revelations are both so heartbreaking and heart warming. This series definitely had me in the feels. The ending was just so cute.

Really interesting plot developments in this one! I’m happy the mistaken identity–secret is out of the bag now and the main couple is together, so I can focus more on the other drama that’s brewing. 😆

I want to see their twins! I hope there's a sidestory or stories after they got married. Even though Legis still doesn't want her to get married to Max or anyone else. Lol. Such a doting father.
