Another great instalment in the Academy Series. The story is interwoven with various POV from all the characters, making for an interesting read. There are as well sneak peaks into future characters. Well written and action packed, well worth your time to read.

Britta is awesome! She’s a second-year cadet at the Drexian Academy and a member of the School of Engineering - the Irons. Britta is disciplined, calm, resourceful and absolutely brilliant. Even more, she’s strong, brave, hardworking and a loyal friend. Britta is a wonderful woman and I loved her so, so much!
Kann is an ex-Inferno Force and, now, an instructor in the School of Battle - the Blades - in the Drexian Academy. He's a fearsome, dangerous, defiant and lethal warrior and… a player. But there’s more to Kann than meets the eye. Because this Drexian instructor is also honorable, loyal, brave, fiercely protective, fun, kind and goofy. And I loved his dominance and deliciously filthy mouth! Kann is one utterly irresistible male and I adored everything about him!
I absolutely loved everything that happened between Britta and Kann! Britta has a crush on the Taori engineer in the Academy and she asks Kann to teach her how to flirt. And… things don’t go as planned… I adored those two together! They’ve been friends for a while but, deep down, both are having feelings, neither of them are willing to admit. Until a precarious situation changes everything… Britta and Kann were so awesome together. I loved their easy banters, the tension, the pining and, after they finally admitted their feelings, the passionate moments they shared were hot AF. Even more, they were such a badass team. The Iron cadet and the Blade instructor were definitely opposites in every way and, yet, they fit perfectly together and I couldn’t get enough of either of them!
In addition, the storyline was phenomenal! A rogue mission, dangerous situations in the Academy and secrets revealed - all kept me glued to the pages till the very end, excited to see how everything will be resolved. Even more, with each story, I’m loving Tivek more and more and that Drexian always manages to surprise me.
Overall, the story is another spectacular addition to the series! It’s filled with danger, action, suspense, twists, drama, humor, smoking-hot passion and awesome characters.
I couldn’t put it down and absolutely loved every single page of it!

a fantastic story with an intricately woven plot, twists and turns, unexpected happenings which will leave u guessing and cheering.
Kann is a player, a love them and leave them guy who is ex inferno force and not an instructor at the drexian academy. he is also a blade who is charming, funny, out going, and more.
Britta however is the opposite. she's had a rough life on earth and is now a 2nd yr cadet at the drexian academy one of the first group of female earthlings ever allowed in and an iron. she is strong, controlled, rigid in doing everything right, fierce, a loner who will not allow emotion to cloud her judgement and common sense nor wreck her goals. Kann and her are friends and work together and are instructor /cadet so teacher/student relationship. a new person a Taori stays behind to work at tahe academy and Britta has a crush on him but has no experience flirting with men or attracting attention so asks Kann to teach her. Kann has feelings for britta but knows its not allowed but sure doesn't want britta with someone else but to spend time with her agrees to teach her. things don't go as planned. kann and britta test out a new very realistic program and things go haywire. Nothing goes as it is supposed to and kann and britta have to work together to overcome challenge after challenge, danger, trouble, which throws their world upside down. Thru this they realize they can't stop the feelings for each other and not knowing how things will end decide to act on them.
You will need to read the book to discover what happens but this story is rich in detail and plot development. Its exciting, drama filled, emotional and more because neither person is exactly what they seem on the outside. There is so much more depth of character they each discover about the other. And how will they navigate the teacher/student thing. a book i couldn't put down til the end.

Rejoining the Drexian Academy for a new term of adventure, romance, and captivating characters is always a welcome addition to any TBR list!
With Obsession the fourth book in the series another gripping, immersive story takes over the page, and held ME obsessed!
MFC Cadet Britta and Blade instructor MMC Kann are the featured couple in this story as the new term begins. Kann has offered to teach Britta the art of seduction after witnessing her awkward crush on visiting Taori scientist Zav, never mind he really knows nothing about the art of a woman’s seduction techniques.
Their interactions may start off as one friend helping another but DEEP down Kann secretly desires much more but his position doesn’t allow for cadet, teacher romance, a big no, no.
With plans still in motion for a mission to rescue Ariana’s abducted sister Sasha from the Kronock, a slew of new cadets filling the hallways and Britta learning her Taori crush is now teaching at the academy which becomes just her grekking luck, since that puts a kibosh to any possible relationship developing between them, has the threads moving through this narrative keeping readers edge of the seat bound as it all plays out on a perfectly painted canvas of surprises, action, adventure, passion, intrigue, suspense, and danger.
The scenario that had Kann and Britta FINALLY seeing each other differently was an imaginative piece of world building, that along with the engaging writing, and characters made this overarching storyline another winner, and the wait for the next book going to be absolute torture!

Finding the real in the midst of the illusion
I loved, loved this forbidden, alien-human, friends to lovers, opposites attract romance. The story had the perfect balance of humor, heartwarming love, real life issues, danger, missteps, suspense, and spice. Britta is a human engineer and military officer who is a second-year cadet at the Drexian training Academy. She is disciplined and calm. Kann is a Drexian and an instructor in the Academy. He is a playboy and full of big emotions. They are friends who both are having feelings for each other and denying it. When Britta asks Kann to help her learn to flirt with the Taori male, fate and the universe has another plan for them which forces them to deal with their feelings. I loved the way the author told the parallel stories of what was going on with Britta and Kann along with what was going on outside their bubble at the same time. Usually multiple POV‘s in addition to the main characters is confusing in a book, but in this case, it enriched and deepened the storyline. It was the perfect vehicle to tell the parallel stories. The combination of the characters and the storyline made this my favorite book in the series. I am excited to read more and to continue the story arc about Sasha, the missing human pilot. I also loved that the Taori is now part of the Academy group and hoping he gets an HEA too.

Well, what can I say? This whole series has been absolutely fantastic and this book did not disappoint. It’s an especially exciting with the other characters from previous stories coming in with their point of view as well.

From Kann teaching Britta to flirt with Zav, to her and Kann being put into a very real situation that they might not be able to get out of, it’s full of surprises, action, adventure, passion, intrigue, suspense, and danger. There are plans, still in motion for the rescue of Ariana‘s abductors sister from the Kronock it means that there is still more stories in the future, which I can hardly wait for. Legend is book four in Tana Stone's Warriors of the Drexian Academy series, and closely follows books one (Legacy), two (Loyalty) and three (Legend). Even if each book has a different set of main characters, the story flows from one to the other and there are shared points-of-view from the previous books' characters, so they are not easy to read as stand alones.
In this series I loved the first two books, not so much the third one. I'm very happy to say that I really like fourth installment too. Not so much for the romance between Kann and Britta (which felt like a mix between more of the same and too much instant love) but more for the originality of having most of the story developing within a holo-simulation (any chance of some of those characters becoming real?) and for the background plot overlapping the four books so far (the rescue of an Earth pilot captured by the enemy). This was the first book so far where I felt really invested in this rescue mission and all that it entails, and I can't wait to see what happens in book 5 of the series.

A captivating read, I loved these amazing characters and a great plot
I loved this read it kept me totally engaged and I know that other readers will enjoy this book thoroughly it will keep you up if you start reading prior to going to bed as once you begin it is simply impossible to put it down until I reached the end.
The Drexian Acadamy instructor known as Kann has a simply renowned reputation that has been built up via his fierce reputation as a warrior and the fact that he is a notorious player from his well-known days in Inferno Force.
Britta is a brilliant Acadamy Cadet and have asked for advice to attract Zay who is a Taori Warrior and I guarantee that once you begin reading this simply amazing book which will keep you up reading until you reach the end and discover the outcome.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

More Drexian heat
I've read all the Drexian books written. They are all filled with adventure and passion and charming Drexians with big cocks. The stories are worthy with enough meat so that I dont feel like I'm just reading porn. No judgnent.
Obsession, however, provided some new contrasts between the logical and the impulsive, between an extrovert and an introvert. The commonality being that they both had been hiding their hearts from the possibility of love.
That realization germinates differently within each character. I empathize with the female because in this world, as in theirs, a woman frequently has to hold herself apart to be seen as capable. The hard casing of emotional isolation protecting and harming us in equal measure.
It is an excellent story within the Drexian series, and I highly recommend it regardless of whether you've lived in their universe.

One of the things I really love about this series is that while the majority is focused on the 2 main characters, in this case Britta and Kann, we get crossover chapters from the POV of previous characters. For me it gives the series a flow and connected-ness almost like a jigsaw puzzle. OMG I love Kann! He is such a sweet, flirty, bad boy who isn't all that bad when it comes to Britta. I loved how both characters grew. And the action/adventure was awesome! I utterly love this series. Tana Stone has Mastered her craft. Her world building is impeccable, seeming so real. Her stories keep me reading way past bedtime...just one more chapter. Her characters are wonderfully flawed and fun to adventure with. This series i especially enjoy. The interaction between all of the characters is woven perfectly. I can't wait for Book 5!

I adore Obsession, book 4 of the Warriors of the Drexian Academy. Britta is a student at the academy and interested in the visiting Taori warrior. Her friend and instructor Kann offers to teach her how to seduce a man, though he’d rather have her to himself. The two try out a new holo game that features the academy as it was first many years ago, and they become trapped just as a group of humans and Drexians are to leave on a rescue mission. During the game, Kann and Britta discover their attraction and the blazing hot romance kindles. Once freed, though, they doubt their feelings until Kann realizes that what he feels for the fiery student is real, so he shows and tells her his truth. They along with the others involved in the second wave of the rescue mission prepare to embark on the next adventure! Stone sure knows how to weave a story!

Everything about the Drexian Academy screams danger and excitement. I'm here for it! As the humans pair off with hot Drexian instructors, security, and other students, this pairing was one I did not fully see. The story was solid with a forced proximity that allowed them to explore how they really felt, all while on the run and trying to stay alive. As part of the series, the book also continues with the team prepping for the rescue mission in Kronock territory that is bound to have its on craziness once they arrive. I really enjoyed reading about the main characters, as well as, characters from other books in the series. The continuous flow of the overarching theme throughout the series makes this book feel like an episode in a favored television series. Lots of action, steamy romance, and adventure. I mean you can't go wrong with a Drexian.

I did not expect this series to be this good
I did not expect this series to be this good. I put off reading it for a while, thinking the “academy” theme was going to be focused on younger characters, with contrived, too-adult storylines. I made the mistake of prejudging this series based on other authors works in the school-romance genre (aka psycho-romance). But, I was (happily) very wrong. The characters are appropriately mature in age, and full of depth.
I am enjoying that the story of each couple doesn’t end with “their” book. The long running storyline is really engaging. And, each couple’s story has been unique. Britta and Kann kept me up all night reading. Literally didn’t sleep a wink.
Can’t wait to find out what happens with Sasha. Is there an Drexian HEA in her future?
And, now downloading the next book immediately after finishing this one…

It’s filled with action, suspense, drama, humor, twist, smoking hot passion and amazing characters. I loved Kann and Britta’s story. They start out as friends but leads them to a stronger connection. A bit too high school romance
The series is basically OK. The characters grow on you, and before long, you become invested in their stories. But the depth of each character is lacking. The love angles remind me too much of plucking daisy petals. "He loves me, he loves me not..." and suited more to high school romance stories. Regardless, the setting is interesting even if the romance is predictable.
The series is basically OK. The characters grow on you, and before long, you become invested in their stories. But the depth of each character is lacking. The love angles remind me too much of plucking daisy petals. "He loves me, he loves me not..." and suited more to high school romance stories. This was another enjoyable story to read that's about Kann a Blade instructor and Britta who's a second-year cadet in the Irons. Britta asked Kann to help her seduce Zav a Taori who's upgrading the Academy's security systems. When they're go on a mission to rescue Sasha will their friendship change to a romantic one? This action and romance were very entertaining, and a well-done story to read, and the characters were engaging, and their chemistry went from simmer to steamy in this delightful copy I'd received and volunteer to read and review.

I absolutely loved this story. It was so different than the previous books . The things that friends will do for one another, despite the turmoil it puts them through.
Tana, took us out of our comfort zone with this read. The entire story is suspenseful, and nerve racking. Emotions were running high, not just for the characters but also for the reader. The lack of control that ensued was intense.
A fight for survival. Blurred lines become clearer, but through it all one thing never faltered.

Tana is out of pocket for this book lol. When I tell you I was on tenterhooks from start to finish??? Stressed! Do yah’ll hear me? STRESSED!!! Never in my life have I ever had to sit through a crisis for an entire book, but that’s how you know Tana is “that girl”. Because no other sci-fi romance has ever had me this gagged. I had to take a few breaks to compose myself because my anxiety was through the roof! In any event, Tana has made the auto-buy, auto-save, auto-download, auto-EVERYTHING list! June can’t come any sooner! I need book 5 NOW!

Fantastically beautiful or fantastically fabulous or just fabulously fantastically beautiful ? It doesn't matter which terminology you use, all are equally correct.
I don't understand how every story I read from this author is always so smashing, but they are.
The storyline, the characters, the settings, the scenarios, they are all fantastic.
Now, I just can't wait for the next book.

Obsession is the fourth book in the Warriors of the Drexian Academy Series. I thoroughly enjoyed this action packed forbidden romance between Kann, an academy Blade instructor and Britta, an Iron student. The story transported the reader right into the academy and the race against time to save Kann and Britta. I enjoyed the different POV of multiple characters which moved the story along and sets up the story for the next book in the series and the rescue of Sasha. I am loving this Drexian Academy series and I highly recommend this book.

Kann is an instructor at the academy, he is loyal, fierce and a player. Which is why Britta has placed him firmly in the friend category. Britta is focused. loyal in insecure, when she asks Kann to teach her who to flirt. it changes things. This a great addition to the series and I look forward to the next book.

What a stonking story. Britta and Finn have been friends but their relationship changes when she asks him to teach her about romance. The story is well written and flows seamlessly well. There’s the right amount of heat in the story and l loved reading it. A great story in the series.

Kann and Britta. Kann is so much fun, he is an instructer but he's also such a flirt. Britta is a cadet and She isn't very good at flirting. Scince She is a friend off Kann She asks him to help her woo the Taori engeneer... Well things get a litlle hot and goals Change. I always love the secret missions and enemies everywere. This series is super juicy! Great book.

I love this series, one of the things I love about it is that while the majority of the book is focused on the 2 main characters, in this case Britta and Kann, we get crossover chapters of previous characters, it gives the series a flow and connectedness. I can't wait to read more from this author. I received this book as a Free ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.

Britta and Kann are members of the group plotting to rescue Sasha, who had been captured by the Kronock. This same group socializes from time to time and the two consider each other friends. Britta is attracted to a co-worker and Kann offers to help her gain his interest. This backfires when he finds himself falling for her. Kann is an instructor and Britta is a cadet. Romance between the two is strictly forbidden yet its never addressed once love has blossomed.
They decide to test a new virtual reality program that Kann had devised and Britta had been assisting in developing. Everything is great until a blip in power causes it to go haywire. They find themselves trapped in the holochamber with no way out. The simulation is a dangerous test for new cadets so they have to avoid its hazards and find a way to survive.

I get so excited when a new Tana Stone book is released, and this was one from the Drexians Academy, my favourite of all her aliens.
This writer writes worlds you can lose yourself in and this was no acception.
I loved this book, great imaginative storytelling and writing with characters you can just fall for.

Britta, trying to get Zav’s attention, asks her friend Kann to teach her how to flaunt her charms. While the results are definitely not she was expecting, it was certainly hilarious! Trying to help Kann solve a problem, everything starts to fall apart. Unexpected danger pulls these two together as they fightfor their lives.
