With God’s help, even broken trust is fixable. Jinxi is in love. Something she never thought she’d admit to herself, much less the world. But the truth is, she adores her police offi cer fiancé. She wishes they could elope and start their lives together. Instead, she’s constantly bombarded with plans for a blow-out wedding she doesn’t want and constant questions about choosing a date, colors, and an appropriate venue. Then, when she’s sure she can’t take any more pressure, her father shows up out of the blue. The man had broken her trust by walking out when she was only four years old, and now he wants to reconnect. As her future husband constantly reminds her, Christ wants her to forgive. Until Courtney received news of her sister’s death, she had no idea her sibling was ill. Now it feels like everyone has abandoned her. Even her husband has been avoiding her since their miscarriage. He rarely comes home on time anymore and isn’t pleasant to be around when he IS home. Their marriage is broken and hardly worth saving. Because of his selfi shness, her dream of having a happy godly home fi lled with children ended before it even started. Courtney can’t move on. For that matter, most days, she can’t even get out of bed. Her faith has been battered almost beyond repair. When repairing a broken trust, forgiveness is essential. But that doesn’t mean it’s easy.
So enjoyed this series of healing, forgiveness and redemption. Life can sometimes be cruel and painful. This is a beautiful story or healing and renewal of a life worth saving. God in all his glory wants this for us all if we just receive this amazing gift. So many things in life can be hurtful but with friends and Gods help we can become new just as this story tells.
Another outstanding book by a talented author. This book, like the others in the series, was fabulous and drew me in with its heartbreaking moments. This Christian narrative shows the importance of forgiveness in living the life that God envisioned for us. I’m hoping for Book 4 so I can find out what happens with Courtney.
This is a story of two women who had one thing in common: they were both in messy situations. God can turn a mess into a message when we let Him. Very well done!
