Ever since I tucked paperback romance novels in my school textbooks, I've
been a fan of Christian romance. Getting to write them is even more fun.

Great

Good clean book full of love and faith. I really enjoy books that I can read every word and not have to skip some parts.

Fair

The female of the romantic pair was so cynical and jumped to conclusions at every turn, it didn't seem normal behavior. For supposedly being a religious woman, she did not subscribe to the saying "Let go, Let God". There were quite a few typos throughout as well.

3.5 stars. The main character of the story, Meredith, almost ruined the story for me. In fact, towards the end I began to dislike her. I know she had qualms about David, but honestly she needed to get over them. Never annoy the reader by rehashing the same theme over and over. The plot of the book moved along at a good pace, but I felt at times there wasn't quite enough of it because most of it centered on what Meredith was doing: cooking food, sleeping, walking her dog, and a lot of that felt unnecessary.

David I liked, despite his being a sports jock, a guy-type I typically don't care for. I would have liked more of his thoughts in the story. The Christian faith was well represented and worked into the story nicely. Sentence structure was fine with only a few minor errors. Meredith's personal thoughts were a little long-winded. Overall, a good story that I don't regret reading.

This book contains a story of two people who, when they were young and in high school, thought they were in love with one another. Flash forward years later when they meet again. He's trying to convince her that he's changed his playboy ways and she's trying to keep herself in check and trying to not get her heart broken by him again.

Their story was full of angst on Meredith's part because she was convinced David hadn't change. David's angst came from not understanding why she was behaving the way she was and why she didn't understand that he wanted to reconnect with her.

There is zero sex in the book obviously because it's a Christian romance. That's what makes this book a must read. You get a glimpse into the lives of several of Meredith's friends and coworkers and you're able to see how faith is something really wonderful to have.

Bonnie Blythe's "Dearly Loved" is a simple, and sweet story about love lost and then found. I liked the book because it contains the sentiment that love, and marriage is something that a busy, successful woman with a career still wants and needs in her life. The story deals with loss, and insecurity, and how with honest communication and faith, things can turn out for the best.
Although the story does not have a tremendous amount of depth, it conveys the themes mentioned well, and it is a good book for those of us who enjoy clean, well written Christian romance.

This is the first book I've read by Bonnie Blythe and I really enjoyed it. It's the story of a woman's reunion with her unrequited first love and all the emotion that resurfaces. I thought the characters were well developed and I especially liked the main ones. I also really enjoyed the inclusion of a dog in the story. I recommend it to fans of contemporary romance.

I really like this cute story. I was usually wanting to whack some sense into Meredith or some into David- but in a good kind of way. ;) Trusting a once broken heart is never as easy thing, and as much as I want to see it happen quickly, I know the best kind of reads take that journey to get there. I pretty much read this in a day, and was very happy with my pick in choosing to read this!

This was a cute little romance book. I really liked it. I was pretty interested in it and had a hard time putting it down. I didn't care for the over preachyness at times but it was clean and really cute.

I enjoyed this book by Bonnie Blythe. Young love gone south then returns. After being dumped for the popular girls, it's no wonder Meredith didn't trust David. But he turns out to be a nice guy with a boat load of patience. Cute story.

What a magical Christian based book about a lonely young woman searching for love and happiness. Merrie and David make a beautiful couple. I enjoyed the thought provoking plot and the wonderful Christian characters. Wonderful writing!

A very sweet story

THIS is such a sweet innocent romance. I absolutely loved it. I can sometimes identify with the main character and loved her.

Some nice writing, but almost no conflict. No one really had to work terribly hard for anything, so there wasn't much of a story. I wouldn't turn down an opportunity to read future novels from this author - the writing is nice but the strorytelling needs improvement.

While I really, really liked this book, the female lead was frustrating to me at times. She and all the rest of the characters are quite enjoyable. I would recommend this christian read to any age.

Ugh. It was so slow bio ring predictable... No real dynamic to the book. I don't even know why I finished it. Boring!

This was free Kindle book. I got a little annoyed with the main character's indecision whether to follow her heart or not, but overall this was a good book.

This book was ok. Took me a while to get through it because at different spots it just seemed to move so slow and didn't hold my interest. But an easy read and over all ok.

I wanted to like it...

I didn't feel like there was much depth to the characters. Meredith, the main character, was a little annoying. I just didn't enjoy this very much.

Old Memories

I did enjoy the story. Though, I wasn't impress with the author's psoriatic attempts to throw in words that clearly didn't work with the sentence.
