All humans are born pure but once out of the womb they fall foul to the life they inherit. Whether rich or poor the passage of time and life corrupts the soul and some take on the mantle of sin, all because of supernatural interference by the many forms of evil that inhabit the world.

Dave Caswell enlists in the Cameron Highlanders at the age of fifteen to fight in the trenches of France in World War One. When the time comes will he be able to kill his enemy or is he uncontaminated by life.

About the author

Alan was born a Sagittarian in Heaton in 1964, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in the UK. He has been married for 25 years and has two grown up sons who both work in IT.

Writing has been a passion for several years and he craves the independence to be able to do it full time.

He writes for relaxation and his sanity what has now brought him to this point of bringing his work into the outside world for others to enjoy.

He is currently in the process of releasing Second Editions of The Wagnerian Assignment, and in the near furure Ultimate Death of a Nation. As well as a new release called Calm Retribution.
