I knew from the moment I saw him moving into the house down the street. I knew that a man like Jackson Baker was going to be the one to turn my world upside down. I saw it coming a mile away. But what I didn’t see coming was finding out he is one of my patients at my brand new job. I know it’s wrong. I know it’s against the rules. I know it could destroy the white picket fence that’s being thrust upon me, and yet... chasing Jackson Baker is a high I can’t seem to quit.
Theodore Young. My neighbor. My Athletic Trainer. My every waking thought. My addiction. I should be spending my fifth year at Palm University--my second chance at the perfect senior year-- making memories with friends, being the team captain everyone is counting on, and setting myself up for a career after college, and yet, the only thing I can think about is him. Watching him. Touching him. Kissing him. He’s everywhere and nowhere all at once. But it’s not enough. Because he’s not mine and I know I can’t have him. And yet, whenever I look into his eyes I know...
S.R. Clark is an indie author who lives in West Virginia with her husband, toddler, and hound dog. She has a soft spot for characters who live unapologetically for themselves and who will lay down their lives for the ones they love. When she’s not writing, she loves getting lost in a good book, cooking/baking, and exploring with her family.
Similar to my review for book one- this book is so insta and cheesy and not really that good but omg I absolutely loved it. It sucked me in I dont even care what anyone says. Excited for book 3 MMF.
Thank you so much for the arc! You know what? I'm going to up my rating to 4 stars bc the author referred to it as "the Gulf of Mexico", thank you!!
This book was a fun read, I really enjoyed all the chapters having titles! So many books just go boring with numbers, but this one starts off with "thirty, flirty and thriving". How can you not like that? I didn't know that this was book 2 in the series, so I'll be going back to book 1 and then on to the next book 👀
Anyways, this features Jackson, or Jax for short. He plays volleyball in college! One day he gets a new neighbor and it's instant fireworks, Theodore, or Theo clearly feels the same. There's only one problem: he's the new sports physio.
The tension is high in their forbidden romance, and it gets more drama, because guess what? Theo is engaged! To a woman!
Theo is not in love with her, but he's stuck. The two guys put their heads together and eventually figure out a pretty hilarious solution that is maybe crazy enough to work....
and theo had me upset because of how everyone tried to push him around without him having an opinion of his own life😭
the chemistry between them? off the charts😍
once jackson came back from montana i couldn’t foreshadow how they would end up together.
BUT i’m absolutely thrilled that weekend in vegas led to theo pushing for the life and man he wanted❤️
my favorite part? how both of their families came together and where not only super accepting about their marriage but of each other’s families as well❤️❤️
-mm forbidden romance -sports romance -player/athletic trainer -marriage of convenience -primal play & -some light stalking
hehehe omg these guys were SO INSANEEE & i love them so much!! it also got SO EMOTIONAL there for a second i didn't have much hope, but those are always the best!! & the vows for each other?? 😭😭😭 they were everything!!
ohh, these boys 🥹 So perfectly obsessed with each other. Both had me giggling with some of the things they came out with. Did I want to slap Theo to knock some sense onto him? yes! yes, I did, but I loved him anyway. After their night in Vegas, both of them just melted my heart, so damn much. and hello Jackson, you were living my dream there because i want to be chased by a masked older man to 😉
I loved seeing Clay and Rocky again 🥹 I can not wait for lils' book
I’m so smitten with Jax, he’s playful personality and chaotic energy was EVERYTHING I was looking for. I suffer alongside with him when Theo wasn’t the nicest person for him. My boy was the best and he’s character development was impressive. His maturity was so ✨drop panties ✨
I was so sad for Theo. His reasoning about his life was such a mess. His character was so human that I couldn’t blame him. The expectations he thought his family wanted for him were so heartbreaking. I was the happiest when he believed in his love for Jax.
Jax and Theo's romance wasn’t perfect but who cares. Their relationship was a whirlwind from the beginning and I really enjoyed it. Their Vegas moments were .𖥔 ݁ ˖ amazing .𖥔 ݁ ˖.
I’d like to thank Tilly Ridge, S. R Clark and the amazing team at Luna Literary for the opportunity to arc Side Out.
Was I expecting unhinged insanity from Jax and Theo after our brief run ins with them in book one? Yes. Am I still somehow shocked this series managed to get better? Yes. Let’s start with Jackson as we know the most about him. Jackson is best friends with Clay, one of our MCs from Strong Side. Personally, he was one of my favourite side characters throughout the first book. He was such a good friend to Clay throughout, showing up for him whenever he needed it and pretty much forcing Clay to continue with his Volleyball carer and showing nothing but unbridled support despite the fact that he was being forced to watch from the side lines, all this with the fact that it was obvious that he was going through something that was heavily effecting him throughout.
On the other side of things, We have Theo. We don’t know much about Theo going in. He is one of the university’s athletic trainers but the majority of time that he is mentioned is through some connection to Jax. Due all of the mystery that we have circling these two and their possible connection in book one, I could not have been happier when starting this book and finding out that the books are pretty much concurrent with each other, so all those little holes we have are very much explained and play out in the most satisfying ways.
As we already know so much about Jackson, it seems fitting that we start with Theo and we begin with him starting his new job at Palm University and moving into his shinny new house, that just so happens to be just across the street from the house of our beloved Baker Boys. Which just sets up a perfect little scene for these two to just ‘casually observe’ each other from across the way. No watching or sitting at your window drooling over someone mowing the grass, of course not. Theo is a professional and he would never. Get your mind out of the gutter.
This just manages to build tension from afar until they finally have their first interaction and it is instantly like they are playing with fire. At this point, Theo doesn’t even know Jackson’s name, he is still referring to him as ‘Emerson’s brother’ and even though he would definitely be denying it, at this point he is already catastrophic obsessed. This is also the moment you realise that you have severely underestimated Jackson. Yes, he is still the nice guy we think he is but he is so much more. The second he see’s Theo, he see’s something he wants in within his reach and he pounces. He walks straight up to him, beelines for him and introduces himself in the most smooth and puddling inducing way known to man.
The confidence he has in himself is so pure and just so well-earned. His actions in this interaction are so sure and stable. Can we please remember that this is a 22-year-old college student who just walked up to an older man, a virtual stranger, who just showed up in his house during a party and yet still somehow manages to reduce said older man to a blubbering mess within about 120 seconds. It was magical.
And that my friends is pretty much all of the story line I’m going to give you because just trust me in saying that it is so worth finding out for yourself. If you are a dark romance reader, this once is must-read. The meat of this story is so aberrant, there are so many ups and downs. Around every corner there is twist and then a turn. There was not one point in this book where I could have correctly guessed what was going to happen next but just trust me when I say it has everything you need. Maked Men? Yes. Primal Play? Yes. Stalking? Yes, Yes and Yes again and yet oh so much more.
“You can’t say you’re thirty while you’re wearing a fucking mask in my front yard”
That being said I don’t think you even have to exclusively be a dark romance fan to enjoy this book. The complexities of the romance that take place here could more be categorised as psychological drama more than anything else, just make sure you read those trigger warnings. It also has such a light side. Their relationship while turbulent has such a sweet edge to it that proves that they were well and truly made for each other. The humour that laces Tilly Ridge’s writing is also very apparent in Jackson’s characters and that also pushed a light-hearted streak through the darker moments of this book.
Theo’s reaction to learning about Bridget was perfect, moments like these in books can more often than not leave a lot left to be desired but that was no way the case here. He teared him a new one but in a way that was so brutal as it was nothing but harsh honesty and dripping with sarcasm. Jackson shut’s any pandering down immediately, he doesn’t want to hear excuses despite knowing the outcome is going to break his heart. The thing is that Theo is fully aware of what he has done, he regretted it every step of the way and he had all intentions of making it right and stopping but he just didn’t. So, there’s no punishing him, no making him feeling worse than he already does. He just couldn’t and can’t continue to help himself when it comes to Jax.
What I can’t put my finger on about this book is, is it a slow burn? It feels like it but logistically it can’t really be classified as one. I think overall it’s more of a second chance but that would imply some sort of pre-standing relationship before the start of the book but there is none. I genuinely don’t know how such a big story, that well documents such a big time period is encompassed into a 270-page novel. I would have expected to feel cheated out of certain scenes or possibly feel like things were rushed, but there just wasn’t any of that at all. It was perfectly paced and I can’t name one single thing I feel like we missed out on.
I only have one reason why I didn’t rate this book a 5 star and that reason is Bridget. Without providing you with any spoilers as that is literally my worst nightmare, so forgive me for being vague. She is just a walking contradiction. I just don’t understand how her personality is how it is, when both her parents and everyone she surrounds herself with is so different and that would be one thing but then it is concreted later on that her actions we’re strictly for the benefit of her parents. Why would she do something so life altering for the benefit of her parents when she clearly doesn’t consider or even have the brain capability to consider them in another aspect of her life or even how she acts? I just don’t understand. It’s just seeming a tad convoluted.
Overall, this book was just fantastic. 10/10. Any repeat scenes from the previous books had a new and interesting angel. The side characters we’re so entertaining. The baker family were just an overall delight and Jackson’s mum particularly was a trip. The little drips and drabs we got from Theo’s family were also super sweet. Coach Taylor continues to be a source of entertainment. My personal favourite though was Austin, Jax’s new doubles partner. His whole story was perfect and his little family was such a delight. I would love to see more from him but I just don’t know how it would work logistically. I do hope there’s more to come for this series though, maybe in a suspiciously Lil and Emerson shaped book?
Thankyou to C.S.Clark, Tilly Ridge and Luna Literary for providing me with an arc copy of this book so I was able to jump straight back in and continue with the Palm University universe and not loose my mind after finished Strong Side.
From the moment Theo laid eyes on Jackson Baker (shirtless, sweaty, probably sin incarnate mowing his lawn), the Game Was On and let me tell you, I was all in.
“Side Out,” the explosive second book in the Palm University series, is the kind of forbidden, chaotic, heart-squeezing romance that grabs you by the throat.
We have all the glorious tropes here: 🏐 Forbidden romance (athletic trainer/player) 🏐 Sports romance 🏐 Found family 🏐 Marriage of convenience 🏐 Primal play 🏐 Light stalking (the hilarious, charming kind, not the call 911 kind)
Was I expecting Jackson and Theo to be messy, obsessed, and totally feral for each other? Yes. Was I prepared for how tender and soft and perfectly accepting their families and friends would be when they (very dramatically) declared their love? Absolutely not. And it broke me in the best way.
The found family vibes in this book are nothing short of perfection. The Baker family didn't even blink when chaos came knocking. Theo's family? Initially I wanted to hate them but his parents stepped up and supported their son. Their friends? Fully onboard the Jackson + Theo train with party hats and confetti. No judgment. No drama. Just pure, unfiltered love and acceptance. It made my heart swell.
S.R. Clark and Tilly Ridge once again prove they are absolute masterminds at balancing feral spice, hilarious chaos, and genuine emotional depth. Their writing delivers on the dark, messy obsession, but also the laughter, the healing, the "you’re my home now" kind of love.
And can we talk about the Vegas scenes? The slow crumbling of walls? The way Theo tries (and fails spectacularly) to resist? I was giggling, swooning, crying, and clutching my pearls like an overdramatic Victorian heroine.
“Side Out” is a spicy, emotional, found-family masterpiece that shows how messy and beautiful unconditional love is.
Thank you to S.R. Clark, Tilly Ridge, and Luna Literary Management for the ARC! You’ve officially made me obsessed, unwell, and begging for more Palm University chaos.
Jackson and Theo meet as across-the-street neighbors before realizing that Jackson is an athlete at the same university where Theo just got a job as the new athletic trainer. Both are pining for each other, but Theo has reservations since he’s on staff at the school and Jax is a student, so he keeps him at arm’s length. Then Jackson finds out Theo is engaged to Bridget. Not good. Jackson takes some time away at his family’s ranch over the summer to build back his strength during recovery from his season-ending injury. When Jackson returns, he has a plan for getting Theo out of his engagement to Bridget and it’s full-steam ahead! I love a good love-at-first-sight story, especially when it’s mutual. First move is made at page 34! The story is sweet, funny and emotional. I loved it! It really pulled on my heart strings and had me rooting for both MMCs. It has some good spice, but it’s definitely not as spicy as Strong Side. I was happy to see Rocky and Clay make appearances throughout Side Out. I’m excited to read the rest of the series!!! This was my first Tilly Ridge book and it won’t be my last. This is my 6th book by S.R. Clark, who is one of my favorite authors and it did not disappoint! I excitedly received an ARC and left the review voluntarily.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Gahhh! This was my first MM romance, and it did not disappoint! I loved it so much! Ugh. I swear these 2 authors are a dream team because I am hooked on this world now! I absolutely loved Theo and Jax's story! I think Jackson is my favorite, though, because he is everything you would want in a main character: He is outgoing, unapologetically himself, super supportive of others, and unhinged in his decisions! Lol! There is some stuff that happens in the beginning that may not feel so great. But trust that it all works out into an HEA! I ate this novella up, and you might too if you enjoy more plot than spice, a beautiful relationship build-up, amazing character growth, and awesome side characters that help tie it in all together! It's healing and wholesome but also has an edge with the touch of forbidden romance.
A few favorite quotes:
"Let's get married."
"You're mine now."
"This is the view I want-always my cüm dripping out of my _______."
★★★. Thank you so much to the authors and Luna Literary for this ARC!! Jackson and Theo served mutual obsession, forbidden, secret and some cheating with those domestic moments that make your heart go happy. I did like this book and thought that each Jackson and Theo loved each other and were devoted. The writing was good and the plot itself was there, I just wanted a little more. It went slow and then VERY FAST all within 20 pages.
I didn’t like the time jumps. There was too many. One minute they were kissing, a chapter later in love, a chapter after it’s a time jump and they haven’t spoken but are in love? I didn’t get it. Theo kept pushing so much it got annoying. He was so worried about his fiancée yet didn’t care for her and she was barely there?
For my safety people, this is relatively safe. Theo is engaged but not in love. He doesn’t even sleep with her. There is no feelings. Both have experience.
Ohhh these boys completely stole my heart. Their obsession with each other was so perfectly chaotic and sweet, I couldn’t get enough of them. Some of the things they said had me giggling out loud, totally swooning and laughing in equal measure. I’ll admit, I definitely wanted to shake Theo a few times and knock some sense into him, but even in his messiness, I loved him so much. He’s such a lovable disaster.
After that wild night in Vegas, I was fully invested. The way their walls started to fall and the real feelings started to pour out? Absolutely melted me. Their dynamic had the perfect mix of angst, chemistry, and that kind of soft, aching love that sticks with you.
And Jackson? Living the dream. A masked older man chasing me? Yes please, sign me up immediately. I adored every second of this story. Fun, spicy, emotional, and so full of love. It’s one of those books I already know I’ll be re-reading just to relive all the moments again.
omg I straight up loved both of these men with their obsessive tendencies! Add in some light stalking and it being forbidden and there was no way I wouldn't love it! Theo & Jax are so drawn to each other and the scenes where they give into the temptation are perfect. I absolutely adore them and cannot wait to see what's next in this series.
What to expect: -MM forbidden romance -Volleyball player x athletic trainer -Marriage of convenience -Pan/bisexual rep -Cheating but not between MMCs -Primal play & -Some light stalking
Thank you so much to Tilly Ridge & S.R. Clark for the ARC of this book! All opinions are my own.
I love to see side characters in one story become main characters in another and Sierra and Tilly absolutely did not disappoint with this one. Theo and Jackson have an instant connection but life is standing in the way. While they each do their best to stay away, find themselves in Vegas, and you know what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay there. These boys get their HEA while learning how to be their true to their feelings.
Thank you S.R. Clark, Tilly Ridge, and Luna Literary management for the ARC 🖤
I really enjoyed being sent back into the world of sand volleyball and Florida humidity (lol) That being said, I felt as though there wasn’t much connection and lust between Theo and Jax. Some of the plot elements felt a little all over the place. I felt as if some details didn’t belong and were just thrown in the make the reader happy, instead of keeping to the realistic narrative of the story. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for love at first sight (or in this case obsession at first sight) but I do still feel like there’s more to know about the other person. Jax and Theo shared a few kisses but ultimately not a lot of true time together. Then after a whole summer apart, then a couple more months of pining but not really engaging with each other, they get drunk and suddenly love each other? I just felt like there could’ve been so much more! Again, don’t get me wrong, it was incredibly sweet seeing them finally be together, but I just wish there could’ve been more intimidate moments before their marriage. Bridget and the whole marriage of convenience felt a little too much. It was such a big factor into the plot then suddenly it was all solved after a few minutes of conversation. Jax and Theo were incredibly cute together, and I really loved the fact that their family was so supportive and all came together in the end. I just wished some of the plot elements felt more appropriate for the story and we got more time to build a true relationship with Theo and Jax. Thank you Tilly and Sierra for letting me review an ARC of Side Out!
Should I have read Strong Side first? Probably. Did I feel like I missed anything? Not really.
Overall I really enjoyed Jax and Theo's story, but the pacing and time jumps weren't my favorite.
What to expect: - volleyball player + athletic trainer - sports romance - age gap - forbidden romance - marriage of convenience - cheating (not between MCs) - pan + bi rep - primal play - light stalking
Thank you to Luna Literary Management and Sienna for the ARC.
This book was such a whirlwind of emotions, and I loved every second of it. It's beautiful, messy and slightly super hot stalkerish romance between an athletic trainer, Theodore Young and a student, Jackson Baker. One single chase, one single Halloween kiss could have such a power, who knew?
The tension, the pining, and eventually the heartbreak- it felt so raw and real. Watching them struggle with expectations, mistakes, and their undeniable connection made the story even more emotional. Their journey from heartbreak to healing, and finally choosing love on their own terms, was heartwarming and so satisfying. A perfect mix of angst, tenderness, and pure happiness!
And the spice, crazyyyyyy!!!!
I loved this book so much, and thanks again to team Luna and Sienna for this oppurtunity.❤️
I absolutely loved everything about this book, I just hated that at first Theo didn't want to admit that he wanted Jax but I'm so happy that he eventually gave in to his feelings. I love everything about Jax and Theos relationship, it's just so sweet and spicy and I love it. I definitely recommend this book if your looking for a good MM romance.
This MM + forbidden had me hooked from the start, book one. My heart was breaking for both Jax and Theo for two completely different reasons. Their story was messy, freaking hot, and had so much emotion!
4 stars 🌟 This was a great book! It was written really well. I completely devoured this book. These guys had my heart ❤️ I loved how obsessed they both were with each other. Jax and Theo's relationship was a little crazy and I was here for it! I loved watching their relationship grow and by the end it was all worth it! ❤️ Thank you so much for letting me read ARC!
This book had me soo giddy! Did I want to knock some sense into Theo for the majority of the book? Yes. Yes I did. the relationship between Theo and Jax was so amazing! The character development was great and I loved how their relationship developed as the story went on.
Tropes - MM Forbidden Romance - Volleyball Player x Athletic Trainer - Marriage of Convenience - Pan/Bisexual Rep - Sports Romance - Age Gap
Y’all. The conflicted feelings I have about this book 🤣 It was SO MUCH FUN to read. Seriously. Laugh out loud moments, “awwwwww” moments, the whole nine yards–and that meant I flew through it. I enjoyed the writing style and absolutely loved Jackson. What a gem.
Theo? I didn’t really love Theo. I also didn’t love Jax and Theo together. Jax deserves better, if I’m honest. I had a hard time believing their romance. I got the lust, that part made perfect sense. But that felt like all it was…especially with how brief the moments they had together were (and that they were only moments of lust overriding their brains) over such an extended period of time.
We all love a primal chase scene or two, and this delivers. And some light st@lking? Here for it. Masked men! *fans self* It hit the right notes in many ways, that’s for sure.
But…I didn’t believe all those moments. Some scenes would unfold and I’d be taken aback by how Jax or Theo were reacting. It didn’t ring true for who we’d come to know them to be, which threw me out of the story and made me look like a real life version of this: 🤔
Full disclosure, I didn’t read book one (and I don’t think I needed to) but I acknowledge it’s likely a more enjoyable read with that additional context. All in all, I do plan to circle back to this series at some point. It was absolutely a good time, even when it got a little all over the place!
Recommended for fans of Eden Finley, Saxon James, N. R. Walker, and similar.
📚Fast facts📚 ✨ College volleyball romance ✨ Player + athletic trainer ✨ Masked man + primal chase ✨ Mild st@lking ✨ Some OW drama ✨ Contemporary MM ✨ Book 2 in a series of interconnected standalones ✨ First person, dual POV, past tense
I am grateful to the authors and Luna Literary Management to have received an advanced copy of this story! This is my honest and unbiased review.
I love that we have a sports romance about a sport that doesn't tend to be featured in books that much. Combine that with it being MM, a small age gap (8-ish years depending on which part of the story you're in), the forbidden aspect of the relationship (athletic trainer x college athlete), and a few choice microtropes/k!nks, and this writing duo had my attention.
Jax and Theo's relationship was a whirlwind from the beginning, and I really enjoyed it. There was a huge "will they, won't they" component, especially with what Theo's not admitting to Jax, and of course, the aforementioned forbidden nature of their relationship.
Clark and Tilly bring this great combination of deep feelings, on point humour (the Halloween party gets a special shout out there), tension and spice, a sweet romance but also just the right amount of angst to make a great story that will have you flipping the pages.
I do feel there were certain elements that could have been explored more, but overall a fun read, and who doesn't love a supportive family, and pan-rep in an MC.
This can be read as a standalone (as it's set both concurrently and after Strong Side) but is best enjoyed as book two of the series, as you really understand the relationships built in Strong Side (and does give spoilers for that couple). I'm so excited for book three of the series, especially with the announcement of the MC's for it.
Thank you to the author and @lunaliterary.management for the eARC opportunity. These are my honest thoughts that I have provided voluntarily.
** Thank you Luna Literary Management for the ARC**
“Side out” was definitively a surprise! I was not ready to be so overwhelmed by all the feels but that was exactly what it was.
“Side out” explores a forbidden relationship between Jackson and Theo. Despite disliking his fiancée, Theo remains engaged, and Jackson finds himself completely enthralled by Theo. Despite their immediate attraction, Theo struggles to find his own happiness, leading Jackson to review his behavior around Theo.
Theodore’s POV was painful. It’s amazing to witness how miserable he is and how he cannot stand up for himself. He was living the life other people were expecting him to, while his own happiness and life goals were being trapped. He truly battled his emotions toward Jackson, believing he didn’t deserve happiness and lacked the strength for a good life. It was really cool to see how Jackson made him want to be a normal human being who has a normal routine and is not miserable.
Jackson was a cutie. He was everything Theodore deserved, Theo was clearly starving for affection and attention since his fiancee didn’t care about him. Seeing Jackson pining after Theo and fighting for what he wanted and deserved was adorable. He clearly awakened something hiding within Theo’s mind because he seemed to know everything that made Theo happy. Their chemistry was actually really refreshing, especially because it was much more than just smut. Just because Theo was older, that did not mean that he was the wiser with his life.
“Side out” explores a forbidden relationship that feels right, Jackson is everything Theo needs and Theo while he tries to do the right thing, it’s just right for everyone except him. It’s emotional, cute and incredibly hot!
Sideout was a forbidden, neighbors to lovers romance between Theodore (Theo) and Jackson (Jax). Theo recently moved to Pensacola, FL to work at Palm University as an athletic trainer. He was reluctantly engaged to Bridget, who put on her grandmother’s ring and told everyone they were engaged. He knew he should have ended their relationship, because she was impossible to please and he did not love her. Theo felt he had to marry her for his family’s business to thrive. He bought a house across the street from where the Baker brothers, athletes at PU, lived. Emerson and Dominic played on the hockey team. Jackson was a senior on the sand volleyball team. Theo couldn’t help sneaking peaks at Jax, and Jax seemed to be looking right back. Soon they were obsessed with each other.
I enjoyed this book. The authors did a good job with character development, the storyline, and world building. There was lots of angst, tension, toxicity, and interesting and fun banter between the MCs. I especially enjoyed the snarky banter between the brothers. Some parts of the story were quite funny. You know the authors are doing a good job writing a villainous character if you hate them, and I hated Bridget’s character. So good job Clark and Ridge! The story was a spicy, emotional, engaging drama that was full of struggle, angst, regrets, and betrayal. I enjoyed reading the book and look forward to reading more from these authors.
↓↓ I don't know how I feel about this one truthfully. There were parts that I enjoyed and parts that felt flat, surface level and the pacing off a bit.
Jackson was the sweetest. He was sunshine. I wanted to hug him for how Theo treated him.
Theo irritated me to no end. I get the whole people pleaser thing but ugh the way that he toyed with Jackson in the beginning really made me mad.
I honestly felt like Jax and Theo's relationship was surface level and lust fueled. I didn't feel they had a deeper connection at all. It seemed like they have more time apart then then did together and then get drunk one night, magically are in love and then get married huh, what, howwwwww 🫣
The whole thing with Bridget I felt was unnecessary, why have her play such a nasty person just for her to walk away from it happily and that's it, nothing more. total build up for nothing 🥴
I was finally happy when they had the push to go after what made them both happy, but from Vegas to the end of the book I felt that it was so rushed.
