Death Cycles

Rate this book
Ryan Bell wakes up screaming...

He's suffered a horrific dream in which a ravenous creature tore him apart... But Bell now finds himself alive, in bed, alone inside his holiday trailer in the woods. The nightmare is blamed on his recent breakup with his girlfriend.

In mere minutes, Bell is attacked and slaughtered by a grotesque monster.

He wakes up screaming once more... and his true nightmare begins.

Again and again, the man suffers brutal deaths, only to awaken unharmed. He tries to escape, to hide, to fight – and every effort seems in vain. Bell comes to the conclusion that he's trapped in some kind of awful time loop, being murdered, restored and sent back in time to just before the last attack...

Yet he is wrong. The truth is far worse – and so terrifying it may shred his sanity.

Can he unravel the mystery in which he’s snared... and defeat his murderous nemesis forever? Or is he fated to an eternity of vicious death cycles?

“…shows true mastery of the short horror story… a wildly imaginative antagonist unlike anything I’ve read before... a quick, captivating read full of horror and thrills. The tense action and suspense of Glancing Blow make it incredibly hard to put down…”

“…When the blood starts to splatter, Nigel’s day gets really rough. Thompson has devised a brilliantly brutal creature to sic on his leading man. Creative and twisted, the monster is a total terror… Hooker is an absolutely insane, blood-pumping ride… With a wicked cool monster and a page-turning climax, this is one Creature Feature you won’t want to miss out on…”
(Hooker – Short Horror Tales #2)
“Great short story...”

(God Of War)
“...extremely well written and very dark. The author did a great job of creating a palpable sense of doom that surrounds the main character from the beginning, and then creating more tension and horror as the story went on...”

True Cosmic Horror

H. P. Lovecraft would have loved this tale of a man forced to relive being torn apart by a monster repeatedly.

The ending is completely unexpected and more horrendous than you can imagine.
