Taming the Raging Storm

Rate this book
Laric discovers there are places even dragons can’t reach. The Dragon Dawn series continues.

Pursuing the Grand Mage forces Laric Mason to make a choice—stay and protect his home, or chase a threat that poses a danger to all of the remaining dragons.

As Laric learns the truth of his grandmother’s quest for glyph knowledge, he uncovers even greater dangers than he could have imagined.

And his uncle had not told him the truth of what Korthal faced. The Grand Mage may be a part of something much larger than Laric had imagined.

If he can’t find the answers his grandmother sought, his home might not be the only land destroyed.

Dragon Dawn continues with another exciting dragon rider fantasy series by bestsellers D.K. Holmberg and Dan Michaelson.

Good story with some caveats

Okay so i’ve enjoyed this series for the most part but this constant issue of questions on questions while appropriate for a teenager perspective is appropriate is becoming quite grating. Especially in the case where its constantly brought up follower by a simple “I dont understand” move on pleaseee

Excellent Read

I enjoyed reading this novel and look forward to continuing this series. However, I have found this concept of bonding with a dragon so different. I do not trust the uncle and I have more than a feeling that his uncle leading him to a very dangerous agenda.

Increasingly disappointed with this series.
There are moments with great writing but these are interspersed with drawn out uncertainty and repetition.
I do wonder if AI was used to help write this book - if so it hasn’t helped.

main character is aggravating

Good story but the main character is arrogant and is ???? Hard to believe, yet the story is well crafted but long winded

Wow, his family isn't what you think they are!

What else can go wrong? Well so many expectations that don't happen. And then again you just get hit with a major what was that?
