Legacy Jackson is an eighteen year old girl who was raised by her single mama, Ranetta Jackson, in West Philly. Growing up broke, Legacy never had nice things and so she was made fun of often. Her confidence was as small as a grain of sand. When her mother’s mental health took a nose dive, Legacy was forced into a position to carry the weight of the household. With her back up against the wall she made the desperate decision to go to “The Wildest Dreams” gentlemen’s club. Relatable

I enjoyed reading this book! I can relate so much to Legacy in my younger years. I'd definitely recommend. Glad part 2 is available, because I'd be mad to be left waiting to see what happened next. On to book 2.

her heart was pure

I like the fact that nowadays, people don’t necessarily consider strippers as “bad” people. And with a mom like Legacy had, mental health issues pushing the family to the point of homelessness, who can blame her? but I felt that world was too much for her and maybe that’s because I’m still holding on to the notion of “types” of people. I even liked Leonzo until he revealed his “true” self.
