Gina always provides an easy, quick read where a happy ever after is guaranteed.
Christian and Fiona are so loveable in this story! Fiona has gained a job with Christian, thanks to his sister and her best friend. What she wasn’t expecting was the feelings she had for him as a child to come rushing back. Christian wasn’t prepared for how he would feel about Fiona either.
As their work relationship grows, so do their feelings for each other, although unknown to the other. Fiona knows it’s inappropriate to feel this way about her boss and Christian has an ex who will not leave him alone. His family (except his sister) wants to see him get back together with his ex, even if it more about business than feelings.
As their feelings bubble over, they will have to face scrutiny from both family, friends, and co-workers. Is this love they have for each other worth fighting for or will they both just admit doing what family and society wants is best, even if it leaves them broken and alone?
Gina writes stories that to a first time reader, may seem dry and fluff free. She has a voice that is unique and gets to the point. I feel it makes the really important things stand out and not get lost in the fluff. It is a very unique voice, like I said, but one I enjoy reading a lot.
As always review trigger warnings before reading.

Is a sweet friends to lovers, off limits, close proximity romance with no cliffhanger. One of the lines I really like ----- you need to start thinking is that you’re worthy of being the one he chooses. ------ What is Aurora up to? What does Melissa have against Fiona? What has Mason so upset? These and other questions will all be answered. I love Fiona and Christian's story and I'm sure you will too. I loved everyone of her books and can't wait to read her next book. I received a free ARC and this is my honest opinion.
Falling for My Best Friend's Brother Next Door is a fun quick read. Fiona comes back into town to become an assistant for her best friend's brother Christian. The issue is that she has had a crush in him for years. Christian has an ex that won't take the hint that she is an ex and his family who is pressuring him to stay with her. Sparks begin to fly between her and Christian and you will have to read the book to find out what happens. The book is well written and the storyline is somewhat unique and fun to read.

Falling for my Best Friend's Brother Next Door by Gina Cooper ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Fiona moves back to her hometown to accept a job offer. She will be an assistant to Christian. Christian is her best friend's brother whom she has a crush on. Can she keep it professional and avoid him from finding out about it.
Christian realizes he has feelings for her too. But his parents don't accept Fiona. Can he convince his parents that she's the one for him or walk away..
I guess you'll have to read it for yourself and find out.
Fiona has been in love with her best friend’s brother for years. She returns to their hometown and becomes his personal assistant. She spends most of the book trying to push those feelings down. Christian is juggling an ex who won’t take a hint and parents who don’t seem to want to listen. Christian starts to have feelings for Fiona and their relationship is very sweet. I wish that this book was longer and we got to see more of them.
Set aside a day for this clean contemporary forbidden romance occurring in Laketown where 24-year-old Fiona Reece has just taken a position as personal assistant to her best friend's brother, 29-year-old Christian Carr CEO of Robust Technologies.

I loved the HEA and the characters. I wasn't a fan of the writing style, it just didn't flow well for me. It was closed door romance with some kisses onlI loved the HEA and the characters. I wasn't a fan of the writing style, it just didn't flow well for me. It was closed door romance with some kisses only. Loved the best friend, Allison.
Not only does Fiona have to deal with the feelings she has had for her best friends brother (who is now her boss) there is the relentless ex girlfriend and his overbearing mother in the mix as well. I loved this book so much.

I wanted to like this book. It has a cute storyline and likable characters. However, the entire book , I mean the entire book, the conversations all felt stilted. There was so much left unsaid by the characters and instead the conversation was replaced with and so I told her/him so.
This is a sweet, fun and entertaining read. Likeable characters and fabulous storyline. I enjoyed reading this and highly recommend reading it. Look forward to reading more from Gina Cooper.

This reads like AI wrote it asked to make it as awkward and stilted as possible. No one talks like that, especially in their own head. I only made it twenty percent of the way through before I quit (and I usually don’t quit).
This book was exactly what I’ve come to expect from a Gina Cooper book. It has a good story line, interesting characters, romance, humor and a surprise twist or two. Fiona is not his sister’s friend that Christian remembers. Her teen crush has only matured and makes itself known at inconvenient times. As a reader of romantic fiction, you know that the romance will not go smoothly and there will be interference. I enjoyed the book.
DNF. This book has really weird sentence structure and wording. Almost like the author’s first language is not English or something. Or the book was written by AI.
Fiona Reece is back in her hometown, her brother talks his best friend to give her a job. Oh boy! She’s crushed on him in like forever …and now she’s his pa and his neighbour !
