She ran.
He chased.
Now there’s nowhere left to hide.

Rachel
She should’ve known he wouldn’t let her go.
Should’ve known his obsession ran deeper than desire—straight into madness.
Now he’s back. And this time? He’s not leaving without her.
She can fight it, but the truth is clear:
This ends in ruin… or surrender.
And when he discovers what she’s been hiding?
Hell won’t be the only thing breaking loose.

Dante
He doesn’t forgive. He doesn’t forget.
Anyone else would’ve been dead by now.
But she’s not just anyone.
She’s his addiction. His weakness. His fucking downfall.
Now that he has her back, he’ll do whatever it takes to keep her close—
Even if it means burning every last piece of himself to the ground.

In this explosive, twisted finale, Rachel and Dante have one last shot at redemption.
But some love stories aren’t meant to be written in ink.
They’re carved in blood.

J.M. Johnson is a UK based author, often writing books set in her home of Yorkshire.

She writes dark romance that are very, very spicy, with morally grey men, and strong female leads. With a profound love of sarcasm (that's the British in her!) her books are always filled with it, as well as sprinkling humorous banter throughout.

All of the books come with trigger warnings like a shopping list, but are also plot heavy.

When she's not writing, she's either practicing her special effects makeup, or spending time with her three children, her fiance and her two dogs.

How are you doing? That’s the question I would ask if you have just finished this book 🫣 here’s some big hugs 🤗🤗🤗🤗 no, seriously I think you need them 🤗🤗🤗

In all seriousness, once more in this series you couldn’t put it down (except sleep and life ya’ know) still devoured it. We catch up with our FMC Rachel and her new life is cut short because honestly, Dante can’t not have her in his. Not that either of the most stubborn two ppl you will meet would attest to this fact. Anyhow, I digress, Dante kidnaps…their son 🤔 yep! I said that out loud because this is the premise to the story. From here it just becomes a whirlwind of emotional overload for them, for us, for the MC 🤣 Lest not forget Bee who has also suffered. There maybe a few lol moments, a significant scoff sometimes, you may even shed a tear or two (no spoilers 🫡), there could be a little violence or maybe a lot, dare I say most of it is Rachel but the story came together, it gave us answers and it may have left us with questions.

All in all it was well written, flowed easily and the impact was perfect. Honestly, I’d love to give you more but why spoil such a good read. Now all that’s left is to await release so it can join the other two in my bookshelf 🤩

I was given the opportunity to continue with this series and I’m glad I stuck by it because this book was everything! I did accidentally hear something wrong and spent a lot of time crying over the wrong characters but it taught me to not multi task while listening to books 🤣 anyways back to the story, I wasn’t sure how the story would continue but I absolutely loved the tension and the almost “slow burn” kind of feel that this book had and how out fmc was still so fiery and unhinged and just how our “couple” but not couple were behaving, I don’t really know how to describe it best but read this book or if you want an even better experience you should listen to the audiobook alongside 😏

You made me cry, Johnson. Not once but twice!. The way you have us feeling for these characters is insane.

Rachel is an FMC icon, fierce, strong-willed, and her honesty is savage and I love her!

This instalment was packed with drama and tension, and the way they were infuriating at the same time, I just wanted to shake them. This was also an emotional rollercoaster aswell and handled the effects of trauma of a minor well. With a few gasps and oh no moments, I loved it.

The audio was performed incredibly well again and really made certain parts of the story hit hard and made it feel more emotional.

I was dying to get my hands on this final chapter since I finished reading Saved. I've really grown to love this characters and their excentricities and flaws. I continue to think Rachel is a bad@ss woman who could rule an empire with her strength. She is a force of nature.
Since leaving Dante she turned her life around and made a new life for herself. But..the past has a way to sneack up upon us, and she was no exception. Dante found them and brought them home, with no choice to leave (in a Dante and shady kind of way).
Dante is still a morally shade of very dark grey. He can be so attentive sometimes and at the same time a complete jerk that makes want to shake him up!.
I can honestly say thay I gasped a couple of times.. I was surprised by some twists along the way, that I never even saw coming, and also by the characters actions, and also their development. We can really see their growth in this story. In this final chapter we see both Dante and Rachel a little more controled (or trying to be) mainly because of the contract they have to one another but then we realise that even when they biker, and poke, and fight they are really trying.
And even if it is a little unhealthy relationship, well.. there's love there.
And, through it all we finnaly have communication between them. It may be weird and completly disfunctional but it's there 🤭
I'll be really looking forward Vienna's book next!

This was an insane journey to the epic end of Rachel and Dante' story. They are both so incredibly toxic and yet absolutely perfectly imperfect together. This book picked up exactly where we left off and was full of chaos and violence, lust and desire. Rachel is an absolute badass FMC with a mouth that bites. She has a comeback and answer for everything, although there were times I wish she'd listen to her own inner monologue and just keep it shut. But that isn't Rachel. She earned that fire. She endured traumas that many wouldn't survive and it allowed her to become the perfect and equal match for Dante. Dante is hard and cold. He takes what he wants and doesn't give AF about anything other than his end goal. After years of building walls and refusal to communicate, their fires collide and these two together will burn the world to the ground for the ones they love and care about. This was an epic conclusion and I look forward to seeing them a strong and united front as President and Old Lady of the Devil's Disciples when we continue with Vienna and Gabriella's story.

Well consider me DONE because that’s what this trilogy has done to me!

Is it possible to say “thank f**k” for that HEA? FINALLY?!

J.M Johnson you really put me through all these emotions with these books and even to the final freaking MINUTE I was wondering if Rachel and Dante were going to get their HEA and they finally did 😭😭

What a roller coaster and of course an incredible audiobook! It’s making me so excited for Vienna’s book, what a lil cutie he is 🥺

Overall, loved this trilogy and cannot believe it’s finally over.

once again I was incredibly lucky to be an arc reader for this author and her books.

I honestly couldn't put it down. the drama the tension. so many twists and turns. so I made time sorry kids 😅 and read it in one sitting.

this series has become my obsession, Dante and Rachel are just as fucked up now as they were in the beginning in the best possible way.

I can't wait so see Vienna"s story unfold in the future and to read more from this author. definitely a must read especially if you like spice.. the shooting range 🤯

I will be recommending this book just like the other two to everyone. I loved every second of it!

WOW!!!!!

well where do I start? I started reading this yesterday afternoon and couldn't stop till 5am this morning, the amount of tension in this book gave me full on anxiety at some points (that's the reason we read these books though right).

I absolutely loved these books the storyline and character development is brilliant the bonds between characters makes you route for them even if you don't want to.

Rachel is still an absolute legend, feisty, queen
mess with her family if you dare, I see alot of me and some of the women I know in her the way she has know problem protecting her children and friends etc.

Now Dante well I wanted to hate him because of all the ways he hurt Rachel everything he put he through, but his character grow the most he's still an asshole but at least he can admit where he has gone wrong and is trying to fix it.

Vienna he's still one of my favourites he's the goofy loveable guy who wants everyone to be happy, he has so much more to him though his book is going to be so fun.

this book is full of heartbreak, love and some healing and it was the perfect ending to this trilogy.

Salvation by JM Johnson is a dark MC romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Lucy Rivers and Ben Hart with a cameo by Joe Arden. This is the third book in The Devil's Disciples series.

JM did an amazing job wrapping up Dante and Rachel's story. This book took me on an emotional roller coaster that I never wanted to get off. I loved getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I can't wait for the next book in the series Hidden to be released on July 1, 2026, so I can get Vienna and Gabriella's story.

Lucy, Ben, and Joe did an amazing job on the narration. I could feel everything the characters were feeling. I look forward to listening to more of all their work in the future.

I would recommend this series if you're looking for a dark romance, MC romance, or romantic suspense.

It's no secret that I have really enjoyed this dark MC romance trilogy--especially on audio.

This is the final book for Dante and Rachel's story. The last book ended on a cliffhanger, and I was anxious to see how it would turn out. Rachel is the strongest, bad@ss FMC that I have read in a long time, but she also has a soft maternal side for Bee and Axel. Dante is still a morally grey jerk of an MMC but can also have times of sweetness.

Rachel and Dante have an agreement that she will stay for six months as his "Old Lady" and in that time so much drama (and violence) happens. We also see growth for both of them in their relationship. I loved Vienna as a side character and will definitely want to listen to this story on audio.

I listened to the ALC of this narrated by Ben Hart, Lucy Rivers and Joe Arden. Again, five-star narration by all of them. They definitely brought this story and characters to life.

Thank you to Blue Nose Audio for the advanced listener copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This story gets wilder and wilder with each book. Rachel and Dante are both the best match up and the most toxic couple. Dante is such a hard headed, stubborn controlling man while Rachel comes off as this sweet level headed, clear thinking person….until she doesn’t. Her character changed so much from the first book to this one. She’s just as wild as the rest of the bunch in the MC club, and there’s a lot going on in this story. There’s always some kind of drama, think sons of anarchy meets daytime soap opera vibes. The narrators do a fantastic job. I honestly wasn’t fully invested after the first book but the narrators brought the characters to life so well, and they’ve made each book more and more interesting for me.

the mayhem continues, and I am so happy that i found this series and especially in audio, because Lucy and Ben were absolutely amazing once again. Dante still started as a manipulative a-hole, and him trying to work on himself was absolutely amazing.

And Rachel the big mama bear was amazing as usual. I loved Dante and Rachel's story. the two psycho's were perfect for each other, but their road was full of cliffs, which they never looked at and dived into straight out.

The Whiplash Queen has only gone and smashed it AGAIN!

This was long awaited (wasn’t actually that long but felt like years) and I’ve already read it twice because it’s just amazing and I’m not ready to let them all go!

Just when you think there can’t be another plot twist BOOM! I am really glad this has ended the way that it did. Rachel and Dante are still as fucked up as ever but they are perfectly imperfect for each other.

Vienna’s’ story cannot come quickly enough as we all need to know what else is going on with all of the Devils Disciples.

Love love love love!

Wow! This had me in all the feels. J.M., you made me fall in love with Dante. He really put in the effort to make Rachel his. I loved seeing his and Rachel's character growth. Sad to see their story end, but so excited for Vienna's.

Salvation: The Devil's Disciples #3 - A Violent, Beautiful Conclusion

J.M. Johnson's Salvation is an explosive and emotionally taxing finale to the The Devil's Disciples trilogy. This isn't a book you simply read; you feel it in your bones. It’s a relentless, savage, and deeply satisfying conclusion for those who appreciate their love stories etched in blood and tears. Prepare for whiplash—the emotional kind—because this book delivers on all the promises of its predecessors and then some.

The Final Showdown

This third installment picks up where the last cliffhanger left off, with Dante on the hunt for Rachel. The premise is as unhinged as the characters themselves: he kidnaps... his own son. This act of breathtaking audacity sets the stage for a whirlwind of emotional and physical combat. The central theme of this book isn't just about a man chasing a woman; it's about two ferociously stubborn people who are perfect for each other, despite their best efforts to be apart. Their love story is a beautiful kind of dysfunction, and the final chapter provides a perfect, if imperfect, resolution.
The author has an uncanny ability to create a story that is not only packed with drama and tension but is also deeply emotional. This isn't just a romance; it's a profound look at trauma and what it takes for two broken people to find a form of "salvation" in each other.

The Characters & The Spicy Librarian's Take

Rachel is a certified badass. She’s strong, fierce, and her honesty is savage. She is a FMC icon who has no problem protecting her children and friends. Her journey is a testament to the power of a woman who has endured unimaginable pain and still finds the strength to fight for her new life, even when her past comes knocking in the form of a kidnapping biker.
Dante, on the other hand, remains a moral shade of very dark grey. He is still an asshole, but his growth is evident. The most compelling part of his arc is his attempt at communication—no matter how weird and completely dysfunctional it might be. His character development is a masterclass in making a villain lovable. He's a man who has to burn every last piece of himself to the ground to keep the one person who brings him to his knees.
The spice level is as high as you would expect and the narrative is full of twists and turns that you won’t see coming, making for a truly unputdownable read.
Salvation is an explosive, emotional, and satisfying end to a truly epic trilogy. It's a testament to the fact that even the most fucked-up people can find their own version of a happily ever after. If you're a fan of dark romance with savage heroines, morally gray heroes, and a story that leaves you breathless, this is a must-read.

Here we are with the final book and Dante and Rachel’s story this is salvation by JM Johnson. I have absolutely love the series up to this point JM Johnson has done such an amazing job writing Dante, Rachel and Vienna. We’re going to throw Vienna in here because he has become one of my favorite Side characters of all time and because his voice by one of my favorite male voice actors, Joe Arden. But I had such an amazing time listening to this audiobook. There wasn’t a time that I didn’t wanna take my earbud out when I was listening to it. if people had a question for me at work I really did not want to hit the pause button because I was so into the story. Again, JM Johnson just does such good banter writing. I fell out in all three of Dante and Rachel‘s books. There was never a point where Dante wasn’t saying something to Rachel that she immediately hit him back with an insult and you’re just like sitting there giggling and laughing, kicking screaming because it’s so funny you’re just not expecting it and then we get spicy time because of it. Their relationship is a very toxic, but it’s toxic in a good way like it’s the perfect type of toxic because they were meant for each other. all the way back in book one stolen. There is a prologue talking about how toxic Rachel and Dante are for each other but that’s the way they love it and I absolutely loved it in this book if you haven’t read any of the books yet, we have book one which is stolen book two saved and book three salvation again this is wrapping up their story and there will be a book four, but that will focus on Vienna and his love interest, Gabriella that book has not come out yet, but I believe it comes out sometime in 2026 so be on the lookout for it. I would like to give a shout out to our amazing narrators in this book. You have Ben Hart as the voice of Dante Lucy Rivers as the voice of Rachel and Joe Arden in a cameo as Vienna. Again, I can’t give enough love to Lucy Rivers. She is at the top of my FMC narrator list. She does such an amazing job in every book that she narrates. Any time I see your name in an audiobook it’s an immediate buy and the same thing goes for Joe Arden. He is one of my favorite male narrators anytime. If I see a book that he’s narrating in. It’s an automatic buy. Ben Hart, these were actually the first books I had ever listened to with Ben Hart in it, and he just took a baseball and knocked it out of the park with every single word that came out of his mouth throughout this series

i never would have thought i would be damn near crying in the nail salon from reading a book but this series had me in a chokehold. if i could read all three of these books all over again for the first time i definitely would. the fire between rachel and dante will never fade, and they both know it, they just have to accept it.
rachel will forever be my favorite old lady. just when i thought she couldn’t get any better, she does. she literally elevates herself every single time. her character progression throughout the entire series has been chef’s kiss. from being a foul-mouthed, rebellious (still foul-mouthed & rebellious) random girl forced into a role, she really molded herself into being the ultimate old lady. her relationship with kitty was a surprise, but i loved how it all came together. who knew i’d end up feeling sorry for mama? i really felt for her and loved how her relationship with rachel wrapped up.
dante’s character progression was also shocking, to say the least. he’s a whole new man. i feel like crash had to be gone, maybe not in the way it happened, but gone, nonetheless, so dante could become the president he was meant to be. he became the leader the club needed, elevating every part of the organization and giving it so much potential for the future.
vienna is literally my favorite devil, and i was shocked at what went down with him. i never in my life expected what happened to happen. but i guess it all worked out in the end.
the children in this story really tugged at my heart. they deserve so much better, but they also get the best they can given the circumstances of their family dynamic. they made the story a little lighter and showed just how deeply life can impact children.
this book was a whirlwind. i never saw any of it coming. every event left me speechless, my mouth was agape more than once. i cried, i laughed, i was angry, i was sad, but it did not disappoint. it was the perfect ending to rachel and dante’s crazy love story. though they’ll never be the “perfect” couple, they’re as perfect as they’re going to get.
after reading the epilogue, i’m so excited for the next book in the series. i’m sad to see rachel and dante’s story come to an end, but i can’t wait to see what happens next.

~Salvation~The Devil's Disciples Book 3~J.M. Johnson~

~Duet Narration~Lucy Rivers & Ben Hart~Cameo~Joe Arden~

~Production~Blue Nose Audio~

"I will never love you the way the movies portray. But I love you in my own way, and each day I’m with you, you teach me more and more. You show me how to love openly, and I never want that feeling to disappear."

♡This was the perfect end to this emotional rollercoaster ride of a story & even though JM made me cry & scream to the point I was asking myself what more can these characters go through I never wanted it to end! Dante & Rachel will live rent-free in my head forever & have easily become one of my favorite fictional couples! They are the definition of a twin flame & I'm so happy that they got their happy ending after everything they both endured. The side characters in this series are unmatched & I can't wait to see the stories J.M. has in store for the other Devils Disciples!

The duet multi-cast narration for this audiobook was perfection! The accents were top tier, the performances flowed so well together & Lucy, Ben. & Joe voiced each of their characters perfectly! The amount of emotion voiced in this amazing series gave me chills!

If you love dark MC romances with twists & turns that will give you emotional whiplash, banter that will have you crying from laughing so hard & characters that you will fall in love with grab your tissues & buckle up for a wild ride!♡

And here I thought the last two books were quite the ride. This one had me in ALL the feels. I even had a shocked, wtf moment. It was so good! This was the last in the trilogy for Dante and Rachel and it couldn’t have been any better. The characters and banter I love, the things I didn’t see coming and the ending were perfect. Dante and Rachel’s characters had a lot of growth. I was pleasantly surprised how much effort Dante gave and his last chapter melted my heart. Which was nice after JM Johnson broke it during my WTF is happening moment like the cliffhangers for the last two books weren’t enough torture 😂 She did kindly stitch it back together though…. Mostly. She knows how to grab a readers attention and keep it that’s for sure. I love the way she adds funny moments to break up all the dark and heavy. This author and her ability to write not only a great story but, some of the best characters is incredible! I love Vienna! His character is a lot of a fun and his heart runs deep for those he cares about. I can’t wait for his story!

The narration performed in duet by Lucy Rivers and Ben Hart & cameo by Joe Arden was amazing! No one else could have fit these characters as well or brought this story to life they way they did. They were perfect!

Dante, You are still my guy even when you've done so much wrong. I can't help but really like this guy, he rough and spikey and definitely is a "act now" maybe I'll think about the consequences later but I can't help it. Your obsession though that I know turned into love just might have some extra spikes you can't handle ... 😏 Rachel As much as I tried to like you, I like your man better, I'm sorry I do. I admit that your psychotic side really makes my giggle and enjoy your rants but the non communicative side with your man IRKS me! So many times I'm yelling at you at this book ... alas you can't hear me lol 🙃 So I can't say how much I've enjoyed this series so far ... this author has a knack for really letting you think you're going to get an end but don't. Don't get me wrong! I think we are at an end with Dante and Rachel but other things are brewing she so kindly told us at the end ... Anyways it was fast paced, irritating, and some heartache. This one was not as "dark" as the 2nd book in my opinion but there is some triggers maybe for some so use caution. Narrators were top notch and I quickly became a fan of Ben Hart and always have been a follower of Lucy Rivers! Oh Sweet Sweet Vienna how I'm hoping the next book is about you. Your character by far is the one who rivals the MMC funny, witty, crazy, just all the things. Who better to play you than Joe freakin' Arden (bravo)

This series! What a roller coaster. It picks up basically where the second book leaves off.
I was excited for Rachel and her journey to start over but that was cut real short!
Obviously Dante couldn’t stay away, or let her go.
Once he finds Rachel and their son the chaos begins like it never left off.
There was never a dull moment.
I loved Rachel in this book. She’s an amazing mom, to her son as Bee. Ugh. Bee’s journey broke my heart but I’m so glad Rachel was brought back to her life and helped her heal.
Dante! Finally some growth from him and I loved it! I loved that he owned up to a lot of things and it seemed like him and Rachel finally both healed from a lot of their past.
Omg there were a handful of sad parts in this book too! I actually teared up during a couple of them 🥺
I didn’t like how Dante was with another girl, I don’t care about his excuse or it didn’t mean anything but I wish he wasn’t.
Overall Rachel and Dante’s journey kept me on my toes, wrecked me, and put me back together! I was waiting for that HEA.
I cannot wait for Vienna and Gabriella’s story.

This is book #3 In the Devils Disciples series.

Rachel - She ran from Dante and the Devils Disciples, she ran with a secret. Rachel thought she was safe, she thought her secret she's hiding would stay hidden, at least for a while.
Can Rachel escape the obsession and love of Dante, or will his obsession and determination on finding her draw her out from hiding?

Dante - A lot has happened between him and Rachel, he isn't the type to forgive and forget, when he finds out the secret Rachel has been hiding from him, will his rage win or will his obsessive love win and draw her back home where she rightfully belongs.

Throughout all three books, we see a lot happen between Dante and Rachel. This book, by far, is the best. We see the true and raw emotion between Rachel and Dante, we see the barriers that were held so high, starting to crumble.
We see two opposites get drawn together for the right reasons.

There is a whole dark cloud over the couple, one with mixed emotions, mixed trauma and intense love that draws them in.
Plenty of twists and turns, ones that will make you laugh, cry, gasp while sitting on the edge of your seat!

This is a beautifully written dark romance, one where we finally see our favourite couple beat the odds of not being a perfect couple on paper.

It's raw, it's dark, it's an emotional roller coaster. This book caught me hook line and sinker, I absolutely ate this book up!

This isn't the first novel of this authors I have read, and I can hands down say it will not be the last!
The way she has created her emotionally unable, obsessive, trauma filled characters is amazing, with a dash of bl00d shed and a sprinkle of delicious spice, is amazing!

If you are looking for a dark MC romance, then this author has got you!

Firstly, thanks to JM Johnson for this ARC with an exchange of my honestly review.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice Level: 4/5

I'm so sad that Rachel and Dante's story is now over! But I already know Vienna's story will be amazing!!!

When Rachel and Dante had the huge argument and then Vienna had to take Rachel away. Let me tell you know I GASP!!!!!! JM Johnson, please never scare me like that ever again!!!!

The last book was honestly so so lovely. It's so nice to finally get to see Dante and Rachel communicate. Throughout the series, you're internally shouting at them to just talk but they're now finally talking!!! It was just the perfect ending

Even Kitty and Rachel's relationship melts my heart. They've all grown so much as characters it honestly just makes me want to cry of happiness.

Honestly to get to see Dante and Rachel become the best parents to Bee and Axel is the best thing. They love those kids so much.

I miss Dante and Rachel...

Dante & Rachel

How do I start this because my mind is still reeling from this whole book. JM ma’am you ain’t right yes yes I know you said that this was going to be hard but dammit I didn’t know how hard. Like I’m screaming in shock but whyyyyy.
This book was so damn good I couldn’t put it down I knew what I was getting into but damn not this hard. I cried so damn much my eyes are puffy looking like I got beat up. But I also laughed because omg Vienna is like an old lady and I want to be his hair buddy too. Dante and Rachel are the most volatile couple in existence. Together they are fire and they definitely needed that therapy. But they are good parents and have a loving community that love the kids and would lay their lives down to protect them. This book was everything and so much more if I could give this book a thousand stars than it would be up there without a doubt.
Thank you JM for writing this amazing book for making me laugh and cry and scream then laugh and cry some more.

Just tore through Salvation by J.M. Johnson and holy shit, it’s the twisted finale this series deserved. Rachel thought she’d run far enough from Dante and the blood-soaked world of the Devil’s Disciples—but he wouldn’t let her escape. Her past is coming for her, and his obsession is darker than ever. Their reunion? Nothing short of combustible. She’s everything that could ruin him, and he’s everything that could destroy her. Meaningful burn, raw edges, and instead of sealing their fate, they carve it in fire and fury.

This book is an emotional rollercoaster loaded with danger, desire, and the very definition of guilty resistance. J.M. Johnson is queen of the cliffhanger, and trust me—she sticks you between ruin or surrender and makes you feel every brutal heartbeat. Rachel fighting for her son and her autonomy? Epic. Dante’s obsessive devotion? Morally gray AF—and addictive. Every choice echoes; every moment watch your heart crack open. This twisted love story doesn’t just burn—it consumes.

If you’re into dark and toxic romance with fierce heroines, obsession that borders on madness, and endings that leave you gasping—you need Salvation in your life.
