Oakland Hardy The last seven years have been a struggle. Not only did my ex leave me pregnant and without a dime to my name, but he also left me with a mountain of debt. For years I’ve tried to get my head above water and just when I start to think things are looking up, my whole life is turned upside down. Gage “Thorn” Hawthorn Oakland Hardy is trouble. When someone trashes her house, I offer her and her mini-me a place to crash. I tell myself it's only a temporary solution to her problem while I figure out who it was. But when my little girl tells me she wants them both to stay, I realize I’m not the only one who’s falling in love. Can Thorn figure out who’s broke in and trashed Oakland's house? Will he be able to convince her to stay? (Trusting Thorn is a single mom/single dad, age-gap, MC romance.)

This was a cute really quick read. Great for a pallet cleanser in between heavier reads. The heroine was super sweet in a damsel in distress type way. If that's something you like, then this is definitely the book for you.
Guy meets girl, twice, through a friend, and they exchange pleasantries. At the second meeting, through an unexpected event (which is never explained as to who or why), they fall into bed and are in love.
I'm disappointed in this particular book for a couple of reasons. (1) I've read other books by Ms. Judge and really enjoyed them; (2) I've read and enjoyed books where the brief time makes sense but it really doesn't in this book; (3) I like more of a storyline intermixed with the spicy scenes; (4) some of the "suspense," if that's the right word, is never explained so there are holes in the plot. Oh, and an unusually large number of typos if that kind of thing bothers you. I didn't notice them in previous books.
I have to be honest and say if this had been my first book by Ms. Judge I wouldn't read any others. However, because I enjoyed her previous books I will read another. And, fair enough, it could be that MY preferences have changed.
The storyline flowed well and kept you engaged with the story. Oakland works as a nurse at the hospital, but a doctor is harassing her and making her feel uncomfortable. Thorn took a shine to Oakland when her work mate and friend, Harley invited to the club. Some issues took place at Oakland's home, so she and Morgan moved in with Thorn and Mila, and as the saying goes: The rest is history! I never understood what exactly happened with her ex Derek, besides apparently being a loser, and it was mentioned that Oakland was left with his debt 😳 🤔. Why? He wasn't dead, so why did she have to pay? Not her responsibility.
There are a few editing issues, but they don't take away from the story.
Thorn when you know you want something you grab on with both hands, don’t you? Oakland you may feel like this is a whirlwind of things moving fast but honey just hold on. You now have a village backing you whenever you need them. I think that you have done a marvelous job with Morgan & now know that your family has grown & they are there for you.
I don’t know about all of you out there but I cannot wait to find out what might happen next in one of Madalyn’s books.
Thorn and Oakland ....umm. Such a sweet romance, biker style. Thorn met Oakland and had a crush, she is a nurse that works with Harley. She gets the attention of a stalker Dr. at the hospital. Her home was trashed and Thorn to the rescue. He takes her and her daughter to his house. Her and her daughter become his. The Dr. doesn't stop, but he owes the Kings MC a lot of money and they come to collect, permanently. Loved this book and want more...Going to see if I read Harleys book or I need to revisit that. Highly recommend this series.
Oakland is a single mum, who struggles to make ends meet after her ex-husband left her with debt. She is invited by Harley her work colleague from the hospital to a cookout at the club where she catches Thorns eye. When he gives Oakland and her daughter a lift home, they find it trashed. Until things can be fixed Thorn takes them home with him.
A stalker also has his sights set on Oakland. Thorn will do anything to protect her and her daughter and eliminated the stalker.
I really enjoyed the story, a great plotline and action.
What a truly enjoyable MC story! I love this entire series and Thorn’s story kept me riveted from beginning to end. So much so, that I read it in one sitting! Thorn may be all rough and tough, but when it comes to Oakland, he has a soft spot. He just has to get her to realize that she is it for him. Oakland is a young single Mom, who I loved from the minute her character was introduced. She is a hard worker, great Mom, and is perfect for Thorn. This story takes you on their journey, which as in all relationships, has it’s ups and downs, but these two won’t let anything or anyone come between them. Their chemistry is sizzling hot and I loved their witty banter. This is a definite must read for all!
Miami Saints MC book 5 is Oakland and Thorns fantastic story. They're utter perfection together and their journey is completely consuming. Oakland is a single mom so going into anything she has more than herself to think of. Lucky for her, Thorn is nothing if not determined so it's no big deal if he has to prove himself. I love this series and I love these characters. Each story this author brings us just gets better and better.
Book five in the Miami Saints Mc series. Oakland has hard a hard life with a ex that not in the picture. She’s struggling with a debt he left behind. When she gets invited to the club she meets Gage. When he drops her off at home, they find out it was broken into. Thorn takes charge and moves her and her kid at his home. When her mind tells her to walk away from this alpha guy. Her heart tells her she finally found her home.
It's insta-love between Thorn and Oakland. They met briefly at a clubhouse party and he hasn't been able to get her out of his mind. When she shows up at the clubhouse again for family day Thorn makes his move. They are together from that day on. There are threats against Oakland that Thorn resolves his way. There is steam between the couple as they travel toward their relationship. I loved this story, especially the happily ever after ending.
Another fabulous read from author Madalyn Judge. I absolutely loved Thorn and Oak’s story ❤️❤️❤️ Life only gets better for her when Thorn gets involved. I love all the characters involved in the Miami Saints MC, a wonderful group of protective brothers and their strong, take charge women. A definite page turner and a very entertaining read. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎🖤
This was an awesome read with lots of twists and turns and emotions, nice addition to the Miami Saints Mc this is the story of Thorn and Oakland they meet through a mutual friend and hit it off and after all they go through, they still make it work totally worth a read and the series is good as well and recommended.
Thorn's the ultimate swoon-worthy hero, and when he falls for Oakland, he falls hard! This feisty single mom's got a lot on her plate, but Thorn's got her back. Their love story's got it all: drama, tears, and enough heat to melt the coldest of hearts. Trust me, you won't want to miss this one by Madalyn Judge!!
Madalyn Judge gives the reader with Oakland and Thorn’s story a fast pace romance, danger and like always family Thorn wanted Oakland the minute her saw her plus her little girl. They went from 0 to 60 in a blink of an eye. It was awesome.
If you haven't visited the Miami Saints MC, you really need to stop in! You'll leave these characters & their stories! Was excited to see the KOA mentioned-cant wait to see where Madalyn Judge takes us on that adventure!
The book was too short. The story was rushed. Storylines were mentioned but then dropped. These threads of storylines weren’t even integral to this story. Such a shame because I usually like this author’s books.
A passionate page- turner that will tug at your heart and will make you swoon. Thorn and Oakland are perfect for one another. The way they fit seamlessly together was beautiful. I enjoyed getting to know them and going on this heartwarming ride with them.
I loved this book. Thorn was a great character but I totally loved Oakland. She is such a strong woman. Following the story of Oakland and Thorn through their relationship and their dynamic made for such a good read. Plus, the more Miami Saints MC the better! Although, how do you not just fall all over yourself for Mila and Morgan?! Looking forward to more of this series! Madalyn Judge just keeps delivering!!
When Oakland is in trouble Thorn speeds up his timeline to make her his so he can protect her and her daughter. There's steam, danger, laughter, loyalty and love throughout this book.
This is a book I have been waiting impatiently for and I wasn’t disappointed one bit. This book has it all, age gap, single mom/dad, insta attraction, and action. I love the way that the kings of Anarchy in Oden is introduced.
I found this book to be a little rushed, almost incomplete even though it’s not. You still get the banter, a bit of mystery, some OW (and OM) drama and the spice. It just felt like it happened so fast with less detail than other books. And it wasn’t confirmed who ransacked the trailer (unless I missed that part).
This wasn’t my favourite book in the series but I do enjoy Thorn and Oakland and their daughters Morgan and Mila. They make a cute family, and I look forward to seeing more of them in future books.
