After reading both the novella and this book, I've discovered that this series might not be for me. Don't get me wrong. Like all books by this author the writing is lovely, the book is easy to read, the book has a very nice length to fit into busy days or to focus on when I'm tired. The focus in this series is just a little too much on physical love for my taste. That's okay. This author writes plenty of books fitting me a lot better, where the romance is a lot more about the emotional bond, where there are more in depth conversations, where characters take the time to get to know each other before taking the next step. However, if other series by this authors are not your thing because you're missing the more physical aspects of a relationship, you might wanna check this series out and you might discover it fits you better.

I really enjoyed this first book in Laura Greenwood's new series. At first I wasn't sure whether I wanted to try this series as I don't read a lot of books with mythology. I was afraid I might get confused as I didn't a lot about mythology, but in most cases there was enough info that I didn't feel like I was missing much due to my lack of knowledge, just a few side characters that were only briefly mentioned. I quickly got into this book and soon I was invested in the story and excited to see how the two main characters would get together.

In this series gods and goddesses from religions all over the world exists and this book features a Celtic goddess and an Egyptian god. Just like other Laura Greenwood books this one was easy to read, had likable characters and a well written romance. Unlike most of Laura Greenwood's books I've read so far, this one had a bit of steam, which I thought worked well and fit the story here.

I liked reading about Aine and Min as they meet while Aine is setting up a new dating agency. Min wants to help her out, but is also interested in connecting again and he's interested in more than only physical connection this time. I liked reading about these two characters and getting to know them. As well as seeing these two fall in love and their romance deepen as they spend time together. I also liked reading about Jinx, the dating agency Aine is starting and there's a bit about the god realm and the powers the gods and goddesses have. There are some interesting side characters as well and I look forward to future books in this series.

To summarize: This is a great start to this series! It was a lot of fun to read with great characters and a well written romance. I normally don't read a lot of mythology based books, but I wanted to try this one as I like Laura Greenwood's books. My lack of knowledge of mythology wasn't a big issue luckily and I quickly got into this book. I liked reading about Aine and Min and seeing them grow closer and fall in love. This book has a bit of steam too, which I thought worked well. I liked reading about the characters and learning about the powers the gods and goddesses have as well as the god realm they can spend time in. I look forward to future books in this series.

***Mild spice scenes more suggestive than descriptive and heavy suggestions most of the gods are bisexuals***

The mythoi background for me was a heavy reason why I was attracted to the book, especially since the first mentioned goddess is a lesser known deity and so is her love interest. Unfortunately I almost quickly put the book down since I am not into LGBTQ reads.

Anyway Falling for Aine and its alternative chapter six takes a look at a goddess who has been traumatized very much by events that were needed in her past and as a result she has closed herself down to her own speciality. And when she wants a bit more she skips the emotional for an uncommitted one-and-done. Very mortal...

At the same time, Aine is working on starting up a dating app with events to help other deities and immortals to find love after her bestie mentions how hard it is to find the one.

And all of this while dealing with one very patient yet determined old fling who wants Aine for much more than their enjoyable extracurriculars.

I felt like since of the world-building less focus was put on the relationship and it was a bit on the weird side to also such a human side to the deities.

All in all it may not be the best start to the series but I am for more books depending on the individual components of them.

Even love deities find falling in love complex who knew?
Aine and Min two gods from different pantheons have know each other for a long time. They’ve flirted and more over the years but casual has become boring for both. This revelation leads Aine to go to the Council of Love Gods and ask for help to start an app/company that focuses on helping gods and paranormals find love. Little did she know it would lead to something special for herself.
This is a sweet with heat romance story. The world building is clever and the characters are mostly gods across many different pantheons so far. It’s lighthearted even with some steamy scenes. I really like the premise of an ancient deity starting an app. Really fun story!.

Modern dating story between gods from different pantheons

An cosy quick read about a modern occasional lovers to permanent relatonship, but between gods and from two different pantheons.

Aine is an Irish goddess of love; Min is an Egyptian god of lust, they’ve had fun before but it isn’t until Aine questons why love gods from all the pantheons should NOT find love themselves and starts organising a paranormal dating agency that things start getting more serious. It was fun reading about different love gods and ways they organise matches for humand and paranormals alike, but I was iffy on the exact workings of the agency. Then again, it was all just being set up and starting, really. I was mystified about the specific trigger why Aine and Min changed their casual on and off carnal relationship to dating and trial cohabitation all of a sudden (need for stability? secretly in love witch each other but not confessing?). I didn’t buy the “he noticed her because of her ambitious proposal and ability to invite most of the gods” idea, but who knows, maybe for a god of lust ambition in his mate is an aphrodisiac? But it was an easy read with lots of naughty on-page nuggets and a HEA.

Recommended for lovers of cosy adult paranormal character-driven romances.

Aine is a love goddess who has always helped others fall in love but has never been in love herself because of her past experience in which she believes she isn’t capable of it herself.

She decides to start Jinx Paranormal Dating Agency after talking to the other love goddesses and gods to set up a place where gods and goddesses as well as paranormals can meet and interact in a dating environment and see if it can lead to love for them. She meets a fellow god she has always liked named Min who agrees to help her with setting this agency up and the chemistry they’ve always had still is as strong as ever but as they interact feelings they’ve never had before enter into the mix and they aren’t sure how to handle them.

This was a story that shows that even gods and goddesses aren’t immuned when love finally comes knocking on their hearts! Things change when feelings get attached to the acts and the more time they spend together!

I enjoyed this story and recommend it. It’s the first book in a series Laura has termed The Jinx Paranormal Dating Agency which I invite you to read the other books in this series as well if you find you enjoyed this one as much as I did!

Falling for A Love Goddess is a paranormal romantic novella by Laura Greenwood. It is the first book of the Jinx Paranormal Dating Agency series. The premise is pretty simple and also pretty cool. A whole cast of gods and goddesses from the various ancient religions are real, and though they are not followed by the humans, they are still out and about influencing humans and living their own lives. The gods/goddesses relating to love, romance and fertility are all for helping various beings find their happily ever afters.

Celtic goddess of love, Aine, has an idea that would bring together various love deities to help other find their perfect matches. It just so happens, Min, the Egyptian god of fertility and harvest, has always had a major crush on Aine and would like to help her plan succeed.

This is a sweet and steamy romance with more deities in the one space than I've seen before. It's such a fun set up, particularly if you're into various ancient myths and religions.

Aine was not the goddess that I thought would start this series. Or the goddess who would start up her own paranormal dating agency. Primarily because I knew next to nothing about her and feel like I need to do some major research into this goddess. I’m pretty rusty on the Celtic mythos, and I definitely want more of it in my life (like literally every other mythos I find out about). The fact that she then pulls in other gods and goddesses that I’m more familiar with – absolutely loved this entire story and didn’t want to put it down! Which I didn’t, and lost a decent chunk of sleep.

Min is cute, sweet, and slightly seductive. And yet, the need for consent is constantly emphasised throughout. I love that he is the god of passion, but he spends most of his time just being too cute for words. Plus, he takes the time to let Aine get used to the idea of them as a couple. Both Min and Aine work through their issues with commitment and love together. Bringing up their pasts happens so organically, and I love that they are able to process this together to find their new happily ever afters.

Falling for Aine is all about not only starting a new business, but also starting a new relationship. I was young and dumb when I started my own relationship, so I can’t imagine what it’s like to start not only a new relationship with the hangups that age brings. But also starting a new business, relying on others’ interest to make something of it. Aine manages to handle all of this with the most amazing graze and calm – something that I know I definitely would not be able to do in the same situation.

Falling for Aine is a quick, easy and light read. I absolutely adored it and now I can’t wait to see what other gods are going to feature in this series! now I’m looking forward to a whole lot more happily ever afters and love stories. The kind that leave you smiling and feeling calm and content when you turn that final page.

FALLING FOR A LOVE GODDESS is the first  installment in the Jinx Paranormal Dating Agency series by Laura Greenwood. This particular story is about a the start of the Jinx Paranormal Dating Agency and the Love Goddess who wanted to help paranormals and God's and Goddesses find love.  Get ready for some steamy get-togethers and a romance that took centuries to be realized.

Aine (awn ya), Celtic love goddess, it's a little bored and decides maybe a dating agency for paranormals, God's and Goddesses would help. Min, an Egyptian Fertility God, who has been attracted to her for centuries is the first to say he'll help her convince  other love gods and goddesses to join her in her venture. The longer these two are together the more their attraction to each other grows, until the 'L' word slips from Min's lips. Now Aine not sure what to do. Slow him down, tell him the FLING is over. Or, or what? For a Love Goddess she's clueless when loves comes for her.

Will Aine make the right decision? Does Min really mean those words?  AND will the Jinx Paranormal Dating Agency be a success?  All the answers are I future installments of this series.

This was a nice short story of a slow  growing romance with plenty of steam between Aine and Min. I recommend this romance story about a Love Goddess finally realizing what love really is.

Aine is a Celtic goddess of love. Who has not found her own true love. So what is a love goddess to do but calls a meeting of the Council of Love, with the idea of setting up a dating app to run events for deities and paranormal to find love .
Min is the Egyptian god of fertility who's been interested in Aine for years. Both have flirted with each and not taken it any further. Min likes the idea of the dating app and hopes working will be a way to spend more time with her and win her heart.

This is a sweet and gentle romance, with a great mix of all the different gods and mythology, we know about.

Work with peers rather than against
I like how the author gathers all sorts of gods and paranormals for this project. Humans come in all shapes, colors, sizes, cultures, etc. and the joint pantheons should also reflect that.
And talk about supporting others!
‘[…] said that she didn't want to see everyone be alone even if that was the way she preferred it for herself.’

Relationships are messy, or at the very least, can be messy at times. A true friend will make sure you know that the not-so-good experiences aren’t worth the loss of seeking out good people for healthy relationships.

I have the rest of the series and can't wait!

Love of her Own

When the Celtic love goddess, Aine decides to start her own agency for gods and the paranormal to find a match, she did not expect to find her own. Min, the Egyptian god of fertility decides he's looking for something more. Friends falling in love has always been an interesting trope and these two having such a great connection was fantastic. I really enjoyed the basis of the Jinx Paranormal Dating Agency getting its start in this first book in the series.

Falling for a Love Goddess (Book 1 of Jinx Paranormal Dating Agency) by Laura Greenwood is a paranormal romance novel. This author is so creative in the stories that are thought up. In this one we have an international dating paranormal agency. The characters are fascinating and so is the world developed.

Aine is setting up a dating agency and Min is interested in helping. He is also interested in more. This novel follows their relationship and the set up of the agency as well as meeting Jinx.

She just knocks these books out of the park. Another great series.

This is the line that had me hooked in the description: "It features a Celtic love goddess unsure whether she can love, and an Egyptian god determined to win her heart." Falling For A Love Goddess was such an addicting read! I loved the mix of mythologies, the heated romance, and the interesting characters! This Jinx Paranormal Dating Agency novella features Aine and Min. Given that these two are both looking for more in the romance department, it was sweet to see that all they needed was each other. I love these books and I am always interested to see which mashup we will have next.

I sometimes just want a book to sort of clear away the cobwebs from other books and to basically know exactly what I’m going to be reading. This author is such a one for me. Her books are easy to read, delightful, and not very long and always well-written, entertaining, and romantic. This is a series starter, and it is definitely all of the above. While I like a little more suspense/mystery to my books, I loved the idea of the matching-making of paranormals and had to read this. This is a standalone, and you don’t necessarily need to read these in order. On to another book. Recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

Quick read. The plot idea has a lot of potential. Two mythological love deities attempting to find love sounds like the perfect recipe for a fun book. The humor is well executed. There was a bit more focus on intimate relations than I anticipated based on the description - it says a little steam, but for me, it was just steam. Not crazy explicit but more than “a little steam.” I probably should’ve read the author’s heat level descriptions. Anyway, less focus on the physical relationship and more on the start of the Jinx Company would have made the story stronger for me.

I read this in Paranormal Ever After and love it and I found that I already had it in my library. Aine who is a Celtric Love Goddess is trying to set up a dating agency and she runs into Min who is a Egyptian God who she has know for years for help but she doesn't know he really likes her. Min loves her but Aine is starting to get feelings for him but she believes she can not love or be love in that way. I kept reading to find out what happens Aine and Min relationship and I love the ending. Looking forward to reading more of Lauras books.

Sweet Story That Mostly About Making Time For Yourself

Aine and Min have known each other for a long time. Their relationship has always been very casual. The story is told from both viewpoints which facilitates the character development. Their relationship evolves as Aine starts a new business venture that targets paranormals, gods, and immortals. The mashup of pantheons is a bit dizzying as there are the familiar and those you’ve never encountered.

Finding love sometimes takes a village - or maybe a lot of time working on a committee

Even if shared interests sometimes stir up troubles and a sort of politics, perhaps romance is something that is simply divine.

Amusing romance with mythical elements.

Little slow to start but a good setup for the dating agency. I like the idea of a focused way for paranormal community to find a match that will accept who they are. Everyone wants to be accepted for who they are regardless. This story is a good example of this premise while still being a good romance story.

This was a quick and enjoyable read, perfect for a light escape. I appreciated Aine's journey as she worked to bring her dating app idea to life, alongside her personal growth in finding love for herself. I'm curious to see how the series unfolds and develops further. Some areas could benefit from deeper exploration, but overall, it offers an engaging experience.

Aine has self-esteem issues for a goddess. Min works hard to convince her they are worth the risk. I enjoyed the revelations that came to Aine. I especially appreciated the pronunciation of her name given in the book. Celtic spellings vs pronunciation are difficult!
