A prospect trying to earn his patch. An ex-hooker rescued by the club. Can she accept the only thing he has to give?
Dumbass had made some mistakes, but planning the club Independence Day party wasn't going to be one of them. But he'd need some help. When Jailbait stepped up, and took command over the other girls, he noticed her for the first time. But as a prospect, he had no place wanting her.
Jailbait liked being around the club, but she wanted more than to be passed around the brothers. Looking far younger than her age wasn't helping. But when the club 4th of July party puts her working with Dumbass, something develops.
But is he in a position where it could work? Will he be put off by her past? Club rules and customs might just keep them apart, how would they manage?
Read Dumbass today to find out if Dumbass and Jailbait can make things work.

I enjoyed this one. I liked getting to know both of these characters better after getting to meet and hear about them in the previous book in he series but this can definitely be read as a standalone. We get to see both of these characters come together and start getting to know one another while also coming out of their shell a little bit, especially Jailbait. This is a quick, short story so things do happen fast and not super in depth but I enjoyed the way that it was done and it worked. I felt connected and engaged with the story.
Ok, the story was good, but I'm still waiting for the "mc" in this series. We had some in Ruger, even were told they were "more". Crash and Dumbass were no more than dating a biker. By book 3, we should at least know what they actually do. Right now, going into book 4, they are an mc, only because they call themselves that. I'm hoping the next book gets into the actual club and the "more" part.
Dumbass Demented Souls, Book 3 By: Melissa Stevens Narrated by: D. C. Cole
The Demented Souls is a great series, and this third book is no exception. It's short, but you will love it! Kyle, also knows as Dumbass, is a prospect and will do anything to keep himself in good standing with the Souls. He is put in charge of organizing the 4th of July party, but the task is daunting. Jailbait,(Holly) a girl who was rescued from a rival club, offers her help. Now these two are not supposed to be together, but their chemistry is real. There are rules in the club, there are secrets in their pasts and there are always hitches that get in the way. Will any of this keep these two apart? It's a fun, sweet and steamy listen, a great addition to the Souls history. I especially love finding out how he got his nickname!
DC Cole continues his narration of this series, letting us get to know the men of the MC. I love his voice, and he always finds the best one for each character. With this series, he keeps them all consistent from book to book! I can't wait to see the rest of the club and what he has in store for them!
DUMBASS is the third book in the Demented Souls series.
MC stories rarely allow a prospect to “get the girl.” After all, they are generally red shirts for the fights, buffoons, and/or little more than slaves themselves. They have no rank, so what could they offer the girl of their dreams?
Melissa Stevens apparently said, “Why? Why shouldn’t a prospect get the girl?” And the girl she chose for Dumbass is Jailbait, a girl with a past that might make her as undesirable as him.
If you haven't read the other books in this series, it's OK. It stands alone as you don't need to read the others. There is enough information in this story that you get to know the other characters a little as well. I will be picking up some of the other books now too. A prospect and a girl from the club suddenly pay attention to each other and they realize they want to be together. This a sweet story along with the steam. I only wish there would have been an epilogue to see how they did in the future somewhat.

The third book in the Demented Souls MC series and just as good as the first two books You don't need to read them all but I would recommend that you do you won't be disappointed
This is Kyle (Dumbass) and Holly(Jailbaits)story He is a prospect for the Demented Souls and will do whatever he is ordered t do by the patched members When Tuck decides they need to celbrate the 4th of July when he is put in charge but he knows that he will need help Holly is still thankful that the Demented Souls saved her from the Demons and is willing to help anywhere she can so she steps up to help Dumbass. As attraction builds between them do they have a future together or will club politics pull them apart
This is a lovely short story. The romance between Jailbait and Dumbass was sweet. If you have been following these stories you might remember how Jailbait came to be in the club. (If not check out Ruger Book1). She has always been a little out of place In the club. She has had it rough but since winding up at the Demented Souls her life has gotten better.
This is my third book by this author. I love these guys and this story is not exception. Again i only wish there was more to this. I do listen on audio and D.C. Cole does an outstanding job with the characters. He has done the series and it’s easy to tell one character from another. He was the perfect selection for this series.
This is a sweet story of the propsect and the ‘’club girl’. Both Kyle and Polly are trying to find their place in the club and planning a party is the perfect test. While working together, they discover feelings for each other. Can they make this work? Narration is in point and keeps you engaged. Enjoying this series.
The third book in the Demented Souls series a well written short story that kept me turning pages. Kyle/Dumbass and Holly/Jailbait's story of the two of them working to make up a really good Fourth of July party for the club members, and their families. I want to read the next book.
