This was a good book, but slow moving. It wasn't until midway through that the story started to pick up. I appreciated the author allowing the characters to get to know each other and have their feelings develop as this was definitely not a case of instalove. For example, there were pages devoted to a day trip spent on Mac's bike. It detailed how Elyse felt with the long ride, stopping to use restrooms and packing water bottles in the saddle bags. There was nothing about where they actually went.

Their relationship was sweet and I loved how Mac took care of Elyse with her migraines and her family. The book was just long winded at times.

This is a first for me in this series! I have read this author before and have enjoyed her musings. This book with Mac and Elyse took me by surprise. Full Disclosure I absolutely loved this story! The writing was phenomenal and it is just a wonderful story outright! You will start this emotional ride from the first page! It is engaging and gripping. Get ready for a magnificent excursion into a world Miss Stevens has created for our reading pleasure!

Elyse has a job she enjoys but when it comes to romance she hasn’t had the best of experiences so even those she is attracted to her neighbor she isn’t sure that is a line she wants to cross. Mac is content with the life he is living however it may have been chance or it may have been destiny but from the moment he meets the neighbor he knew she was special.

This is a slow burn as Elyse and Mac find what they didn’t know they were missing in each other.

Mac is happy with his life, he has his brothers a good job and a home, but no one to share it with. Elyse hasn't had a good dating record, between her family and job shebdoesnt get much time, and no guys seems to keep up with her. Until her neighbour catches her eye. This is a well written slow burning biker romance engaging story, loved the characters old and new!

Well-written MC Series
This is my first time reading the Demented Souls MC Series and now I’m intrigued enough to want to go back and read the previous books about the members.
Mac and Elyse seem perfect for each other and conveniently live next door to each other. They both will be dealing with some serious stuff coming up and now I can’t wait to get more into the plot.
I’m definitely recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and pleasure. PEACE.

Mac by Melissa Stevens is book 7 in the Demented Souls Series. This is the story of Mac and Elyse.
Elyse hasn't had the best in the relationship department so she not looking for anything. Instead is staying focused on other things. But she can't help but notice the neighbor. Mac is enjoying life with his brother and hasn't really been looking for anything more until he sees his neighbor. Enjoyed their story.

Book seven in the Demented Souls series another well written story in this series, it held my interest until the end. Is this the start of something new for them both or will they discover that neighbours only, they are meant to be?

I enjoyed this new "Demented Souls" story! It's a little bit longer than some of the stories in the series but just as interesting and intriguing. I like Elyse and Mac's story! Lots of chemistry between the characters in this MC story. This is a slow burn story that is very nicely developed. Good addition to the MC series. You cannot help but cheer these two characters on.

Elise is the manager of a secondhand book store. Her mother, who is a real cow, thinks the job is beneath her. Elise has her own home and eyed off her good-looking neighbour quite a few times. Turns out his name is Mac, a bikie and US Marshall. This was a very enjoyable read but so very many errors.
