A tad by-the-numbers but not terrible. If you like romance tropes like forced political weddings, slowly growing on him but he won't admit it, and secret past where they were friends then you'll like its execution here. Some of the issue comes from how wilting the female lead is. Tina is willing to let things happen for the greater good of others to a fault. She doesn't want to let her husband know she was the one who cared for him while he was kidnapped lest he… GASP… possibly think she's an ok person and not a horrible person! All because the tropey villainess lied and said she was dating him and she just couldn't get in the way of her husband's feelings. I also find it odd Tina's country lost a war and the princess / child of the King they choose is her. She's canonically the third daughter, or child, and also an illegitimate child. Hopefully it's later brought up why she was chosen and not someone else. But judging by this first volume I sort of doubt it as the romantic and political drama are all generic. There is a glimmer of interest in Keithfault's upbringing of seeing his strung along Dad cause him to have this entrusting exterior that warps him to be unable to see good or act on his love for Tina. But this vigilant element isn't explored much yet though I hope it is.
The art is also very generic in that cheap vertical comic way. You can tell its using various 3d assets, drawings, and sources some of its patterns and images from some generic asset pack. The art is inconsistent too with some pages definitely getting more love and other ones done with less work and shakier lineart. There is effort behind it but it's also clear there is some sort of deadline impacting the quality of the chapter releases.
