The Volkov Brothers We watched Lucia secretly. Obsessively. She was our scent-matched mate, the one who’d bond us three brothers into a pack. We protected her. We hurt strangers for her. And loved her while she remained completely oblivious. There are definitions for people like us— stalkers, sickos, psychopaths. We’re really assassins-in-training but we do embody those other personalities too. We thought that’s what love was until Lucia betrayed us and let her dick brother drive us to the brink of death. We’re not the same boys she knew in the past, and whatever we may have been to each other, it doesn’t matter anymore. Because we’re only one thing to her Her captors. We feel no guilt or remorse. Not when we own every inch of her- body, heart, and soul.
Lucia Most omegas dream of a happy life with their pack; I just want to vanish from this world. My brother’s depraved obsession with me runs deep. I’ve become his prisoner and he will soon force me to surrender my life to him. I’m about to be traded by my brother when the ghosts of the three young men I fell in love with rise from the grave. They steal me away but instead of becoming a happy reunion, I become their captive. They hate me and want to break me as a payback to my brother. Will they ever see through the haze of mistrust and betrayal and realize what they mean to me? Or will I lose my life at their hands? Sink your teeth into this dark, sinfully delicious why choose omegaverse series which contains all the delights of possessive, obsessive alphas, pack bonds, bites, heats, and knots. This story contains dark themes, so please heed the note at the beginning of the introduction.
This is the same book that was published but under Ivy Clyde but she changed them into alphas and omegas. I own book two in the Volkov Assassin Pack book 2 called Vicious Knights. The series has been unpublished but if you are republishing a book under a pen name and only changing the fact that the characters are now alphas and omegas instead of just mafia you should probably add a note in the beginning of the book.
DNF. Tedious story. The characters didn't make sense. They basically rape the FMC and she's like "oh it's ok because my brother was mean to them" or they think "well she's wet so that's ok"...idiotic.
A wonderful dark omegaverse. Lucia has no idea how the world works and that means she doesn't make smart decisions, which keeps it exciting until the end. When she finally seems to gain the trust of the Volkov brothers, her gentle and ignorant side wins out again. Will hatred and mistrust win out over love for the Volkov brothers? It is a dark story, with a lot of pain, suffering and hatred, where you hope that love will ultimately win in their lugubrious world.
