She lives in Texas—her true north—with her adventurous family, and a spunky rescue who is often referred to as a hot mess. She is the proud owner of too many books (if there is such a thing). When not writing, she can be found exploring Manhattan, on a mountain either hiking or skiing depending on the season, or swimming in her own backyard.

Another in the Marshals of Mesa Point series, in which US marshal Abi Remington joins with FBI special agent and single parent Grayson Chisolm to catch a serial killer bent on dispatching college students all over Texas. When the sixth victim manages to escape, both Abi and Grayson think they may now have enough information to catch the murderer, but can they get to him before he claims another victim? And before either or both of them are hurt or even killed? After all, Abi is attacked and the murderer's signature written in sand is left at her house.
Will Grayson convince Abi that he wants her in his life personally as well as professionally? And will she agree, even though she's never thought herself someone who could love a child like Grayson's 4-year-old son?
This is my favorite in the series so far. Great story, good pacing and strong character development for both Abi and Grayson. We got to know them beyond their relationship and their professional personas. Both grew as the story developed. Can be read stand alone. Would love an epilogue with them enacting with Abi’s family.
Each book in this series gets better than the one before. I like the fact that with each book you meet another sibling in the family. One of the best series I have read.
