Quand Mary revient un soir dans son appartement de l'East Village, elle n'est pas surprise de trouver Primo, son nouveau petit ami, avachi devant la télé. Mais quand elle réalise qu'il est mort, une tout autre histoire débute... Seule avec le chien de Primo sur les bras, Mary va tenter de retrouver les proches du défunt, et alors qu'elle remonte les rues de la ville en quête d'informations, ses rencontres lèvent le voile sur celui qu'elle connaissait bien peu. Mary, avec sa meilleure amie, son groupe de punk, et une galerie d'ex plus ou moins sympathiques, va aussi en apprendre beaucoup sur elle. Dogrun est le second roman d'Arthur Nersesian, écrit après le grand succès de Fuck Up. L'auteur y poursuit son hilarante fresque des vrais new yorkais avec une ironie inimitable, portée cette fois par une héroïne féroce à contre-pied des clichés.
