Wow. I loved this book💖
I went into it not expecting to feel that much about it tbh, but I am sorry, i apologize profusely!
The plot was there, the spice was like the perfect amount, the banter, the tension, the burn, the angst, EVERYTHING!!! 💕

Cal and Victoria stole my heart honestly. Victoria is a boss ass lady, proving everybody wrong in the end, which i absolutely loved, she went through a lot!!
CAL! he is a hot alpha male type who was in the Navy SEALs along with his brothers. They both felt attracted to one another from the start. He is stubborn, demanding, HOT! But....stuff happened, and he was pissing me off so much!!!!! Like i was screaming at my screen like “wtf is wrong with you?” So there is a touch of a miscommunication trope in the story, just to let you know!
HE IS STUBBORN AS A MULE!!! 😤😤

But, it all came together in the end, thank god, they got their HEA. I honestly loved this book so much and I can’t wait to continue reading about the rest of the series with his brothers!!💖

Victoria Backlund is a woman who is driven and self motivated. She has always done everything to impress her dad, with the hope of one day making partner with them at their firm.

These two meet as stranger, but little do they know their worlds are about to be more intertwine than they could imagine.

I ABSOLUTELY love the character chemistry between these two! There is some GREAT slow burn leading up to these two but you get plenty of little fire starters along the way to keep you held over. But once these two accept what everyone else sees it’s a wildfire that can’t be contained.

Cal and Victoria has a big hill to climb and both are closed off and not looking to miss pleasure and business together, but Mother Nature has bigger plans for them. Even though Victoria comes to Yosemite Ranch with the business proposition for Sulfur Springs acquisition, she will soon learn that Sulfur Springs is not some desolate place no one wants. She has to uncover some very hard truths and in the end make some hard decisions that her heart may just not recover from.

I cant wait for the next book in this series! You meet the whole family in book one and getting the little bits of the brothers just makes me all the more ready for their stories to unfold. Join the ride you won’t regret it 😏

The little one liners in this book are on point! So many mic drop moments from both characters had me going “say what?!?” 😏

What a great read! Sometimes I just go into a book blind and that is exactly what I did with Impossible Love. This book begins a series that showcases the MacLaine family and honestly, I think it is the fact we are focused on the family and all the ins and outs of them all that has me smiling so big. They live on this amazing ranch and we get to spend time with Cal in this book. He is a former Nacv SEAL and refuses to let this little red head in high heels anywhere near the land that she is trying to buy for her family business. As these two spend time together, they both find out not only more about each other, but also themselves. Victoria might be the high society she was raised in, but she learns that there is so much more to who she truly is and I loved reading her come into her own. It is with the support of Cal (and his family) that she finds her inner strength. Victoria isn’t alone in learning more about herself, Cal finds that the support of a good woman enhances everything around him. He finds that love is something that he wants, but only from one red headed woman. There is so much to this book and yes the banter is fantastic, but I have to say the pink tornado that is Cal’s niece makes me smile every single time.

I am so pleased I was able to get a copy of this new writing duo’s book and first in their series about Yosemite Ranch.

I just loved the characters…loved the whole family dynamic. Then we also have the feisty females who keep the guys on their toes while confidently and quietly going about their business!

Victoria is a force to be reckoned with and yet beneath her expensive tailored suit lies the gentlest of hearts and the softest of characters…just desperate for someone to put her first, to actually see her and her very capable worth.

Cal has always put his family and duty to their ranch at the very top of his priorities, he’s a protector by nature and no-one is getting past him….until the gorgeous red head in the designer gear turns up at his home and completely blows his plans clear out of the water…..not something an ex explosives expert in the Navy SEAL’s is expecting!!!

Yes there is a wobble and yes I was cheering for Victoria as she showed her love and support in the best way….and yes Cal definitely needed the shove he eventually got but that’s all part of the excitement!!

Loved this, loved the humour, the heat and all the side characters who made the story even richer…. Can’t wait to get back to the ranch and meet Finn properly next….

Nothing could stop the instant reaction Cal had to Victoria as he watched her disembark from the plane and into his carefully constructed life. Victoria couldn’t believe the reaction she had to Cal and all of his rugged manliness but she learned her lesson about mixing business with pleasure and vowed not to go down that road again despite everything she’s feeling.

I loved the push and pull between Cal and Victoria and how underneath it all was this intense connection beyond words they could describe. They valued what the other brought to the table but they both let fear and preconceived notions stand in their way because old habits die hard but eventually their brains caught up to their hearts and they realized there’s nothing you wouldn’t do for your person.

I’m excited that this was the first book in the Yosemite Ranch series about the MacLaine brothers who all happen to be former Navy Seals, billionaire tech geniuses, and ranchers. The next book is about the second oldest brother and single dad Finn and I can’t wait to see him and his adorable daughter fall for his heroine.

Impossible Love has a charming small-town setting and likable main characters, especially if you enjoy the classic grumpy vs. determined dynamic. The chemistry between Victoria and Cal is sweet, and the premise has potential with its opposites-attract tension.

However, the plot feels predictable, and the emotional depth could’ve been explored more. Some conflicts are resolved a bit too neatly, and the pacing drags in places. Still, it’s a solid, clean romance that works well as a light, feel-good read—especially if you’re in the mood for something comforting between heavier books.

Cal & Victoria’s story is timeless. Boy meets girl. They try to avoid because they are on opposite sides but they come together. Whoa, steamy scenes! Lots of them! But then trust issues. Anger. Distrust. Cue an awful father. Cue Cal’s brothers. Cue Victoria’s coworker & friend. Lots of twists & turns. But it really is a good story that kept my attention throughout.

Very long with some parts drawn out more than I would have liked. However, I did enjoy the storyline and all of the characters. Family really stuck together!
