A plus size mafia princess who’s actually bout that life? Yes, please! The world building on this is good. The dynamic, messy and entertaining. The cliffhanger, tantalizing. But the writing has a lot of contradictory elements, and repetitive imagery. Not enough to make it a bad read but more than enough to be annoying. But I like Journey and the potential for her character and the romance.

a lot of 'nigga ' , 'seed' and a lot of speaking in riddles. the heroine is soooo misterious and the H is confused. skip read it but it was not for me

This was a great read. Journey was a queen who didn’t take no mess from anyone. The secrets on both sides of the families are going to be crazy wants revealed. Zeke is a crazy boss and he is all about the respect. I enjoyed reading the background about the arranged marriage for Zeke and Journey and how neither one let their parents control who they were. I thought the Date series had drama but this book started out with a big BANG from the jump. Can’t wait for book 2.

Good Book 1. Can't wait for the next book. A lot of drama. This is an arranged marriage, but the FMC is just as dangerous the MMC. Journey and Zeke are going to be a dangerous combination wants the secrets are revealed in this series. It has a good plot, but some parts are repetitive.
