Jack Mars is author of the bestselling LUKE STONE thriller series, which include the suspense thrillers ANY MEANS NECESSARY (book #1), OATH OF OFFICE (book #2) and SITUATION ROOM (book #3).
Book 1 and 2 were good. Book 3 got boring during their military action on the mountain. It was just too long and drawn out. The ending was what was expected. Books 1 thru 3 could have been combined into one book only. They were pricey for being just 3 short story’s.

Having read.most of the authors previous books, this one was below par. It felt rushed, with little of the usual covert aspects and a lot of the paramilitary ones The sun plots of the project and of Lara trying to find out more about her parents moved along a little, but even her it felt as if it was a very small side note, rather than an important aspect of both Lara and Thomas's background
