WARNING: this is a dark romance that deals with heavy subjects.
Screaming and crying. This book put me on an emotional roller coaster which I won’t be able to forget for a long time for sure. And the fact that I can relate to Maddie in many things is scaring me a little.
*Originally read and reviewed Mar 2024* *Re-read the updated version Aug 1-3 2024* I didn’t know it could get even better. Four words - Madeline’s apologist for life🔪
This book had me hooked since I opened it. There were so many instances where I was enraged with the characters not understanding why they were acting a certain way and not doing something about the situation that was happening (trying to not spoil anything lol) and then it all came together like a puzzle being finished. The story was so good, the twists and turns and the surprises I loved all of it! The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was simply because there were some grammar errors throughout but it wasn’t bad enough that I couldn’t understand what was being said.
this dark romance deals with heavy subjects such as : drug use domestic violence breath play mental health dub con self harm
this book was different. i love a multi pov and all the flashbacks to explain the pasts was great. i wont give away spoilers. this book had so many twist and turns and so many surprises. my mind is emotionally exhausted and drained.... in a very good way. there are a lot of things you can easily miss so if you are looking for a light read this isnt it.
