Sequel part to "The Hideout" and continuing on with the narrative between Paige, wannabe singer/pianist and mixologist at "The Hideout" an exclusive club, and Juliet was never one for committed relationships before Paige.
So, it is all new to her the first time around, especially with how Juliet turns down a long-time escort and friend of hers, Rachel, who wanted more than she could ever give her (her own story of finding love goes deep, and hot, in Book 3 in this series), and so Juliet finds herself surprisingly happy with Paige despite the horrific past Paige had to escape before.
This time around, Paige is touring with someone she always wished to be with, and doing what she THOUGHT she would always like doing, but then when she's away from her year-long girlfriend, Juliet, things begin to change in her.
Same goes with Juliet, until something horrible happens to Juliet in a brutal attack, that leaves her and Paige distraught and unsettled. They have to come to terms with their relationship's growth and natural change.
I thought that was really cool to see that natural progression.
