"The Morning Star will rise at the darkest hour of night,

the lost Prince's blade will make the darkness light."

Callenlas languishes under the rule of a tSardian Queen. All mention of Elior or the stars is forbidden. With Elior in other lands, the only hope is a prophecy given on the night of the tSardian uprising.

Will the lost Prince rise before Neradi crushes the spirit of the stars from Callenlas forever?

Finished this one on the way to vacation! Really enjoyed this one. The Christian allegory was fantastic and the romance was super sweet 🥰 This was one of my favorites in the series! This one and the 2nd one :)

Content: A few not-too-detailed kisses. A good bit of violence with sword fighting and mentions of blood. The villain in this story is really evil and pretty creepy for a younger middle-grader, in my opinion. Still very clean though!

This was my favorite book of the series, so far! I'm looking forward to seeing if the next book really ties it all together.

This story unfolds between the events of The First Skyrider and The Dark Star in the Callenlas series. As the kingdom of Callenlas languishes under the tyrannical grasp of the tSardian Queen, a hero emerges to fulfill an ancient prophecy. This lost prince, destined to rise, holds the key to rekindling the spirit of the stars that once illuminated the realm. With the Queen's dark ambitions threatening to extinguish all hope, the fate of Callenlas hangs in the balance. Will the prince be able to restore King Elior’s light amidst the looming shadows?
