Patrick has heard the clichés "tomorrow is not promised" and "you only live once”. Actually, he used to live by them. But now he is busy trying to walk in the footsteps ordered by the Lord. As Patrick continues to morph into the man God created him to be, a negative paternity test actually tests Patrick’s heart in ways he never imagined. Will he bend or break under the pressure of being the kind of father he never had? And will he find someone to walk down this rocky road with him into uncertain tomorrows?
Montrel is drowning his sorrows in alcohol. Will distance make his heart grow fonder of his estranged wife, Glenda, or solidify their plans to divorce?
Katrice is eating her cares away and quickly falling into a food dependency while trying to plan her wedding alone. Desmond is busy working hard to pay for the wedding and their relationship is tested as pre-marital counseling uncovers some of Desmond's not so handsome flaws. Is a year of knowing each other too soon to make the walk that will end in a lifetime commitment?
All three of Momma's children are wondering, "What About Tomorrow", but can they make it through today first?
Hello, Goodreads community! I'm Michelle Stimpson, and storytelling is my heartbeat. I've found my calling in penning heartwarming women's fiction that offers a seat at the table of family, humor, and hope. As an author, my greatest joy comes from crafting narratives that resonate with anyone seeking to find laughter and light in the pages of a good book. My tagline, 'Read. Love. Repeat.', is a promise of the emotional journey I aim to provide—engaging stories you’ll love and yearn to revisit.
I love this series. Michelle Stimpson and April Barker has done it again. They have done a great job with the characters. Once you finish reading this book it will make you think of your character and who you are and how you handle different situations. This book is about love, friendship, family and forgiveness.
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G...the power of love, forgiveness, & 2nd chances!
The power of forgiveness & second chances! I love the way Michelle Stimpson always draw from God's word! Her stories for me have been life changing!! Thanks Mrs. Stimpson for always leaving our hearts full of hope!! Another amazing story & characters!
I like the realty in this book. It shows that God doesn't give you all of your wants, but he supplies all of your need. Without giving away the story I'm glad the siblings worked things out. I really enjoyed this series!
Wow, what a beautiful, thought provoking, Edifying series. This series made me think about relationship, family, and how they impact our lives and thought processes. But gave me hope and a wonderful insight into how God can change us, work wrong behaviour out of us if we truly desire it. And how he can use anyone to give us exactly what we need, when we need it and are ready to receive. I was thoroughly blessed and encouraged reading this entire series. And not only do I recommend this book for everyone.I am off to read more from these authors.
All of the characters showed up! Some problems remained; others increased in seriousness. Enjoyed the read; book one got us started and was more captivating. The storyline left some things "hanging" but I don't need another book to see just how things will turn out. It's family life after all. Aunt Dee could benefit from some love interest! I always enjoy mature folks in staring rolls.
This is a good example of forgiveness. It can be hard when it is your family. Family can push buttons and cause you lose trust in those you love . God can put it all in check when He shows His love and forgiveness.
Love, family, forgiveness; God's and man's, The characters are great and made the story inspirational. Who can change the lives of so many? I enjoy this author's writing and connection to real life.
Book 3 What About Tomorrow by Michelle Stimpson. I enjoyed all three books in the series. We will go through trials and tribulations, but remember to seek Christ. A must read, start with book 1.
