I have a great passion for music and I really admire the musicians who dedicate themselves to music. I feel it's like another language, and they learn how to use it and share it with the world to transmit a meaningful message. By reading Kehao Cai's Classics and Future, I realized the admiration I have for musicians, especially Cai. The collection of piano works in this book invites the reader to reflect on the power of music and the intellectual capacity of the musician who created these masterpieces.
Music is much more than entertainment. Cai blends deep questions and life themes with music. He guides these reflections about humanity and our future with amazing songs. The music he wrote is as complex as the topics it talks about, reaching a point where the author invites readers and musicians to push themselves out of their comfort zones. Musicians can do this by playing complex classical music, while other readers can listen and open their minds to topics about the future of humanity.

Amazing boom
I consider myself a person who is not very musical, I really don't vibrate much with music, I've always thought so. But I really liked this book, knowing and learning a little about modern classical music was something inexplicable. The ability that the author has to immerse us in each of his pages is simply wonderful. Even so that it generated a hook in me that I cannot describe. We are always being told to experiment with music, to feel it, live it and even better to make it part of our lives. I highly recommend this book for music lovers, you will not waste time with this book and you will see a totally different side of what we have today with music.

Kehao Cai has come up with a book called “Classics and Future” that comprises pieces of piano music that mirror the composer's own thoughts. Music has always been present in people’s lives and it’s thanks to music that some people can express feelings, emotions or situations. Some melodies represent love, fear or danger but in this case, Kehao’s melodies represent the future and destiny of mankind. I believe that it’s up to the reader to consider the tone of these melodies. As it comes from internal processes of the mind, there isn't a right or wrong interpretation, people should let their minds flow. I think that it’s a great tool for musicians, it gives the opportunity to play new pieces of music, to admire them closely. As I’m a fan of the piano, I definitely recommend this book.

Intriguing, interesting, well developed, practical, and useful are some of the many words that I would use to describe this amazing book. The author, Kehao Caí, made an incredible job when writing this fascinating expropriation between timeless wisdom and forward-thinking innovation. I really loved how this book connected the gap between historical lessons from classical literature, philosophy, and the application of these ones in shaping the future, containing a wide range of fields such as technology, society, and culture.
I liked that many readers from different disciplines could find this book useful and interesting for their own purpose because of the relevant topics. Also, this book leaves readers with a sense of hope about the future, and guides them into a natural evolution of ideas.
Overall, I really recommend this book to any type of public interested in intellectual depth, and who want to be informed about the modern-day challenges and innovations.

I found this book exquisite, not only because it is packed with a lot of musical scores that are excellently organized depending on its level of difficulty, but also because from beginning to end, it challenges readers to push their own limits with dedication and passion.
I love its structure, because the melodies are well identified as well as the complexity it has; this is great for the reader not to get frustrated trying.
If you are thinking of giving it a try, it is essential to know that it is a very restrictive book and that only those who have knowledge of the music field will be able to enjoy it.

A new challenge
This book is just a banger. I love playing piano and this book just gave me a whole set of new pieces to play and learn and be inspired by. Classical music is always going to be my favorite. Especially since authors and books like these exist. A new challenge and a whole set of new possibilities. I want to thank Cai for bringing this out. This kind of creativity is just on a different level, and the challenge is definitely not easy. It will take me a long time to get these pieces right. My admiration for Cai. This is the kind of book that will take you a step further.

Definitely, "Classics and Future: Contemplating the Future of Humanity Through Classical Music" by Kehao Cai is a work that revolutionizes the way we conceive modern classical music. One of the things I liked most about the book is the author's ability to immerse the reader through each note in modern and futuristic themes with the depth of classical music. Personally I enjoyed every note, it seems to me that it has an approach with a contemporary vision of the future. Classic And Future is a book destined for the piano player who is bored of practicing the same songs over and over. The author shares piano sheets for different levels, best suited for intermediate to advanced musicians.
I'm still a beginner, so some of the plays were just too much for me, but it's a nice and fun challenge. For a future edition, I would like to see some piece of the story surrounding the songs, creating a deeper connection with the songs and giving it context, I think is a good idea to make the book more appealing to beginners and to people who don´t have a cultural background regarding music.
