Moya’s ugly past left her fearful of dominant males. And now, when males push her, rather than giving in, she punches them. One morning, after hours of being harassed by the wolf pack’s belligerent alpha, she mistakenly hits a blameless male—a wolf-shifter new to town.
To Moya’s dismay, the wolf-shifter and his brother are under-paw everywhere.Confident and powerful, darkly gorgeous Patrin exudes a terrifying dominance. His brother Fell is blond, muscular, and obviously deadly. When they step in to save a couple of cubs from a bully, she’s torn between her heart and her fears.
Patrin thinks the tiny female who punched him is adorable, and his silent brother actually laughs. Fell rarely speaks and hasn’t since they were children, imprisoned and trained as assassins by the brutal humans in the Scythe. Free for only a year, Patrin, Fell, and the other shifter-soldiers, are eliminating the Scythe to keep their people safe. He and Fell have been sent to this small town to serve as bait.
Patrin and Fell have never considered staying in one place, and they’re surprised to be welcomed by the shifter community. After so many years with humans, they’ve never felt part of a clan. They certainly never considered getting involved with anyone.
But there’s something about the tiny shifter female with the quick fists…Two heart-wounded, powerful brothers, a feisty bookstore wolf, a loyal wolf pack, and a whole territory of shifters must fight to survive a malicious pack alpha and the merciless Scythe humans.

I met my dearheart when vacationing in the Caribbean. Now I won’t say it was love at first sight. Actually since he stood over me, enjoying the view down my swimsuit top, I might have been a tad peeved—as well as attracted. But although we were together less than two days and lived on opposite sides of the country, love can’t be corralled by time or space.
We’ve now been married for many, many years. (And he still looks down my swimsuit tops.)
Nowadays, I live in the west with this obnoxious, beloved husband and a seventy-pound lap-puppy. I’m a gardener, and I love nurturing small plants until they’re big and healthy and productive…and ripping defenseless weeds out by the roots when I’m angry. I enjoy thunderstorms, collecting eggs from the chickens, and visiting the local brewery for the darkest, maltiest beer on tap. My favorite way to spend an evening is curled up on a couch next to the master of my heart, watching the fire, reading, and…well…if you’re reading my books, you obviously know what else happens in front of fires.
This is the story i’d been waiting for, because Patrin and Fell had been through so much…. I hated the Scythe with a vengeance, and the Colonel in particular, for what they’d done to all those poor Daonain, and i needed justice….badly!
Wells, the spymaster, had already hunted down most of the responsible Scythe with the help of Patrin,Fell and their brothers in arms, but the Director and the Colonel were still out there, somewhere. So,he sent Patrin and Fell to Ailill Ridge to lure them in. Without alerting the Cosantir,André. Finding jobs that made them visible, but non-threatening,was easy. Resisting a kindhearted and generous little wolf wasn’t. From the moment they met, both Patrin and Fell knew she was special. If only she stopped hitting them when she felt threatened….. Helping her get past it,and getting her help in return was fun,and before they knew it,they got attached to the sweet little wolf.
Moya feared dominant men,but at the same time she dreamed of having one. What happened to her still haunted her and the Cosantir decided she needed to work on her fears,or he would step in. But who could she ask for help? Her pack alpha? No way! When she ran into two strangers at the Gathering, she never could’ve thought they’d be the ones that’d be perfect for the job. But they were….Fell and Patrin may have had those dark and dangerous vibes, but that wasn’t all. Beneath the surface, there was a vulnerability, and a deep sense of trauma that she couldn’t help, but want to soothe…. And before she knew it,she was helping Fell use his words, teaching them both to cook, and helping them both to adjust to life in Ailill Ridge. If only she hadn’t grown attached to the two wonderful wolves…..because they weren’t staying.
In the meantime, the Scythe were planning, and Patrin and Fell were keeping an eye on the spy passing intel to the Director. Would they be able to complete their mission and capture the damn Scythe? Pack life wasn’t easy either,Roger was a weak alpha, and needed to be replaced. It was only a matter of time before disaster would strike…..
Cherise has an unique way of writing, one that draws you into the story from the first page, keeping you there right until the end. Making you smile when things are good, making you cry when ugly memories rise to the surface, making you scream at the actions of evil men,and leaving you véry satisfied at the end. With only a few loose ends…..like what happens with that new shifter…..and maybe a second chance for a former bitchy one?
I simply devoured this book. No one writes damaged people healing each other quite like Cherise. Combine that with drama, spicy sex scenes, magic, and heart-stopping action and I am OBSESSED.
No plot spoilers No real potential triggers The characterisation is absolutely flawless, with the main personalities shining! Patrin and Fell have walked a hard road and it was certainly gratifying to read their story. Moya is absolutely delightful, I loved her. The plotline is a continuance from previous books in the series, as such it would make for better reading to have read from the beginning. I totally can't recommend the series strongly enough. If you are a fan of romance, intrigue and shifters then you would undoubtedly appreciate the series. There are no grammatical or editorial errors. Go on, read the series!
I have soft spot for Cherise Sinclair and this shifter series. It’s a unique setup for the ‘verse, and I’ve read it since the beginning so I’ve grown to know these characters and seeing their lives and HEAs is like a sweet fairy tale soap. And I mean very old fashioned - when the FMC’s harshest curses are “fairy farts” you know you’re in a very distinct little universe. That said, Ms. Sinclair knows her way around a sex scene, and she’s one of my comfort reads, so I’d label this as a qualified recommendation. If you’re into shifters and triad romances that tend to lean very sweet and a little filthy, some danger and a guaranteed HEA ,you may enjoy this.
I’m always sad when I finish one of Mrs. Sinclair’s stories because I want them to last and last. Luckily, I can see several more stories already brewing, and I’m sure we will return to the shifter territories for more tales.
Like all her books, this one contains strong, honorable males, courageous women, and interesting side characters and adversaries. Her wonderful main characters have flaws and scars that give them depth and the courage to face their fears and to do what’s right - even when it’s hard.
I can wait for more Wild Hunt Legacy stories to come!
That was a thrilling read! I expected nothing less, after seeing that Fell and Patrin, former super soldiers, were our heroes. In addition to the action and intrigue, we get to be along as they fall for Moya, and she for them. There are things to overcome for them to be together, but they work through it in their own ways. There are stressors and worry as the story unfolds, and my anxiety peaked a few times, but the satisfaction of it coming together for the territory dwellers, made it all worth it. And, as always, a few tidbits of what future stories may hold for us <3
So I loved this addition to The Wild Hunt Legacy. Fell and Patrin were raised to be soldiers by the Scythe. They become leaders to other shifter-soldiers. Since gaining their freedom, they have been hunting down the remaining of Scythe. Their hunting brings them to the town of Ailill Ridge where they meet Moya. Moya the owner of a bookstore has a real problem with authority and dominant males using their power to intimidate. But then when Patrin grabs her shoulder to return her eReader, she punches him without even turning around. This is where the story begins...
The Scythe have been hunting, capturing, and killing Daonain for way too long!! Slowly but surely, Wells and a select few shifter-soldier have been tracking them and taking care of them. The two worst were the Director and the Colonel. The Colonel is believed dead and they are now after the Director. Brothers Patrin and Fell have been leading the shifter-soldiers under the command of Wells and are determined to complete the mission. In the meantime, they found their mate and that complicates things. Read the series. 😁
Cherise Sinclair never disappoints , every word she writes is a work of art. This one is no exception she fills it with excitement and love and romance and a surprise I wasn't expecting but loved... You can't go wrong reading Cherise she's one of the very best ..
I was worried when Moya ran but she was so strong and turned everything around! This story showed the strength of the three . Almost everyone from the previous books had a brief mention. I loved how the female scythe spy was killed. The future for the shifted soldiers futures was hopeful and more stories are needed. Especially for Well and Bron, fire works there I bet especially with Thorson! I hope MS Sinclair has more stories to go with these!
Five stars for an explosive action pack book by Cherise Sinclair. I highly recommend this book for an awesome read. And if you have read the series previously, you will love the other characters sprinkle through this series.
The h is a giving and kind person, the Hs are traumatized from baddies abuse. The wolf pack is led by incompetent wolf so there is lots of bullying, but eventually it all comes right. This book seemed heavy on Telling, but it was an appropriate end to the series.
I love the Wild Hunt series and have been anxiously awaiting the release of Moya, Patrin, and Fell’s story. This latest book did not disappoint. Yes, there were things that happened as I speculated they would, but without revealing the many twists, even those events which were predictable had a lot more depth and detail that was not predictable. If you love this series, too, I feel certain you will love this book as well.
I love Cherise Sinclair. Her books always keep my attention even if I’m reading them for the second time. I’ve been waiting for Fell and Patrin’s story. It is fantastic. So exciting and heartwarming. You should read this series it is so worth the time. Thank you Cherise
What a heartwarming book, liked it, but there were moments that the heroine irritated me, not so bad it ruined the book. The ending was fantastic. This one was not my favourite, in this series, not that matter, for I absolutely adore this series. Can't wait for the next one.
If you love the shifter world, this will make you love it more! Cherise Sinclair knows how to deliver the right amount of suspense, spice, romance and laughter! This will make you laugh and cry! Totally 10 stars!
Sinclair’s “Daonian” shifterverse is different from most. It’s a world where shifters are still unknown to most humans. It’s a death sentence to reveal the existence of shifters. Shifters can live all together in a compound but they can also live in towns alongside humans. They don’t do well in big cities.
First, most shifters live communally regardless of animal, in fact genetic littermates can be different animals. It’s primarily wolves, bears, and panthers. Other magical creatures exist too: salamanders, pixies, and brownies.
Secondly, there are no knotting or mate-biting. No fated mates, either, just relationships that deepen naturally. This makes her daonians less animalistic than most other shifters.
Much less hierarchy! There are Alphas, but they choose their betas, and unless they’re singled out for a talent (healing, music, etc), everyone else is more or less equal. There is roughhousing but no fights over who has precedence. A leader (Cahir) is blessed by the god so there is less chance for assholes.
Their existence is threatened by a shadowy human organization called The Scythe. These humans consider shifters to be subhuman. They massacre remote villages, kill the adults, and take the younglings captive. The males are brainwashed to be super-soldiers and the females held to guarantee their behavior. The humans treat the females horribly, but it seems to be mostly beatings, nothing sexual.
Sinclair is so good at creating appealing characters. The ongoing problem with the series is in the conflict parts of the stories. The Scythe are too faceless, and their end goal is confusing. All that money, all of those lives, all of the facilities, and it’s not clear why. If the end goal is fighting a human war, wouldn’t shifting soldiers give the game up? Anyway, it doesn’t hold together. It doesn’t work as a metaphor for inhumanity either.
Ms Sinclair's books on the Daonain have become formulaic. Boys meet girl, Resistance from either side is overcome, mate bonds form, Scythe causes trouble, heroes vanquish trouble and everyone lives happily ever after.
She is much too talented a writeer to keep doing this. I would love to see a new story arc from this writer. On away from both BDSM stories and Shifters. She's got the chops. Surprise us!
The only reason I gave this three stars is the heart-warming moments with the secondary clan and pack members. The story lines about the cubs was both heartbreaking and heart-warming.
I have read all 7 books in the series (the previous 6 books multiple times). Loved this new book to the series -- bravo! I plan to reread the book (and the others) in the very near future. This book is set under Andre's territory. Page turner but so much more. Bravo!!
I really love seeing Patrin and Fell finding their happy ever after with Moya. I don’t want to spoil anything but that ending is absolutely to die for!
I really liked being back in this world, and finally getting Patrin and Fell’s book.
Patrin and Fell are going on another mission to try to eliminate the Scythe. They have to integrate themselves into the town, but they’re not allowed to tell anyone why they are there. As they are trying to spot the operative, they get to know Moya as well as other characters and they start to see what it’s like to have a home.
I really liked all the main characters, but I wanted to see more of them in their roles in the pack . Moya asks Fell to help her with her reactions to dominant males, and in exchange, Moya helps /annoys Fell into talking more. Eventually Fell asks Patrin to help since Moya is desensitised to Fell.
I liked reading about this town and I thought that the side characters were fun, but I wanted more detailed scenes with them. For example, Patrin, Fell and Moya changing the pack’s attitudes; them interacting with others at their jobs; Talitha and her cubs; Kennard and Fletcher.
I love this world, and I can’t wait to read more. I’m curious if Wells is going to get a book (or just be mentioned in someone else’s book). I think Glenys might be interesting to read about and while I didn’t like Gretchen in the previous books, I’d be interested to see how what happened will affect her and who she’ll end up with (someone new, someone who knew her when she was rude to everyone, or maybe even someone who knew what her mother and sister were like).
Bonds of the Wolf, The Wild Legacy book 7 by Cherise Sinclair I was given this book for an honest review. I get so excited when I see Cherise has sent another book to read. Her books make my heart so happy. This is one of my favorite authors and so of course I jump when I can read her books. Patrin and Fell *clapping* I am so excited for this book. These two dominant men were trained by the Scythe. When they are free, they take out the rest of the Scythe. They are soldiers and “brothers”. They train others to also hunt and get rid of the enemy. Moya is living in the town when she comes across these 2 dominate men. She is not a fan and let them know right away she will not be bossed around by them. I have to say I laughed so hard at what she does. Get it Moya. LOL As all love stories and HEA’s for Cherise go, the characters have to learn to trust before love can happen. They have to deal with lots of outside forces and drama to make sure the love story is complete. This is another great addition to the series. If you are a fan of this series and Cherise’s words then this book will make your heart so happy.
I need Gretchen to heal. She really didn't understand love. She needs it. Her mother prized beauty above all else, and her sister was her mothers little user. Sex probably held little real appeal cause her heart wouldn't have been in it. She's a redemption story that needs told. Mora could be the catalyst, by showing her care. I want her voice, hers not her mothers ideal to cause her to see\feel love. Oh I can see it unfolding ..... Her off alone(not) mourning in song heard by a reclusive sibling without clear vision ..... A Shepard or soul weaver...... Really enjoying cherise writing style. My Add ruins some stories because they don't reveal a tail(lol), but tell one. Her writing flows like a brook. Just enough rapids to oxygenize the story, but not so much it becomes too much. Her descriptions put you in the story. She may well become one of my top 10 favorites, and I read alot.
I'm happy that Patrin and Fell got their happy ending with Moya. I can't say I loved this one as much as I loved the last book, but it was nice to see the Rainer Territory shifters again.
I'm also glad that Cherise did not kill of Thorson to give Wells the Death Gift. Having a new background character take one for the team works a lot better and it's nice to see that Wells became a cat too, considering 1) his personality, 2) his bond with Thorson, 3) Vicki is his the daughter of his heart and 4) I can see us getting a more mature romance with Wells & Bron (possibly Thorson since he and Wells already have a brother bond). Only problem is would Bron leave Rainer or would the two males move to Rainer.
Also I feel like we may get a Gretchen redemption story. She's been horrible since book #1, but we got to see why she acted the way she did. Now that her beauty is damaged and she's all alone, perhaps we'll see her grow into a better person and find mates who will love her.

Bonds of the Wolf by Cherise Sinclair is a captivating tale of love, fear, sadness, and happiness, set in a world of shifters fighting for survival. Moya, a wounded wolf shifter, finds solace and passion with Fell and Patrin, two wolf/men haunted by their troubled past. As they work to overcome their demons and build a life together, danger lurks, threatening to destroy their newfound love. Cherise Sinclair weaves a compelling narrative that draws you in, even if shifters aren't typically your thing (like me.. Maybe a handful of authors I enjoy). Her storytelling magic makes this series a must-read. And let's not forget the sizzling hotness between Moya, Fell, and Patrin - their intensity and desire is a hunger longing to be set ablaze, and when it does, it's a five-alarm inferno! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 hahaha 😉
“Bonds of the Wolf” is book 7 in The Wild Hunt Legacy series by Cherise Sinclair. I have read all the books, each tells its own story, each story is original and all are standalone but enjoyable when you read all! The stories are well developed, brimming over with intrigue, suspense, Hot sexy scenes, twists and turns and beautiful romance. Cherise Sinclair is an extraordinary author! She is talented, creative and keeps her readers involved from page one!! I’ve read several of her series and recommend each and everyone! At the end of each story I’m totally satisfied and eagerly awaiting the next story. I’m an avid reader, Cherish Sinclair ALWAYS writes a full novel and leaves us wanting more of her stories!
As usual, the characters in this series are just so lovable and engaging. Also the grand finale of this book was excellent, and I stayed up to late finishing that scene. What prevents this from being a favorite is the length. This was 100 ages longer than the rest of the series and it didn’t feel necessary. This definitely dragged at times and took me much longer to finish than the other books in the series. This author will still remain an autobuy for me, just more editing next time please! 3.5⭐️
