I just love this series so much, & these novellas after are just perfect!

It completely ties everything together and I really enjoyed getting a story that provided more of a connection to the main characters children.

Don't worry, it still has the spice. But, I definitely found it very wholesome at the same time.

omg I know I've complained about the lack of emotions in Westin but here I found all that was missing 💔😭

lmao my thoughts and prayers are all for Westin and Gerard having a daughter and a son in their teen HEHE 😂 that was the best part.

Forever Westin 🫠. I love how tender and loving he is with Diane and even more with their children. Seeing their daughter Allison and seeing how she falls for Cash 🤗. The relationship between his son River heart melting. Momma Diane so protective and loving of her children and still so in love with Westin ❤️‍🔥.

My, my, my, but what did I spy last night about this dropping the next day? This bonus Novella for Westin (Gunslinger) Quinn and Diane Carter. The novella opens with them having teenagers. It was totally fabulous to get a peek into their future. There's also a continuing of the Domaince/Submission spice between the now married for over a decade couple and those were just more icing on the cake for these two who are still hot for each other.

There are no words for how quickly I smashed that download button on KU once I saw this was available. This is a bittersweet extended epilogue to Westin and I adored revisiting our characters and their children (who are now besotted with each other - be still my beating heart). It is refreshing to see an epilogue written so many years in the future where you can feel the characters growth in the relationship while retaining the aspects you know and love (cough - the smut - cough).

Darling Bride is an extended epilogue novella for Westin and Diane’s story giving us a look 16 years into the future. It was great to see them living and working on Carter Ranch with their children. Westin and Sovereign work closely with each other on their own ranches but just like they always planned, together. Westin and Diane are just as in love as they were if not more where last saw them. This novella ends wrapping up both Westin and Sovereign’s story beautifully. This is a must read for fans of the Sovereign Mountain series.

I'm a true sucker for a lil slice-of-life novella up in the Sovereign Mountains & Carter Farms 😋 This was just plain sweet, spicy, and pretty emotional in the end.

Seeing Westin, Diane, and now with their little family, truly made their dark days before so worth it. They're giving their children what they didn't have - and isn't that always quite emotional to think about

Also! There has to be a second-gen series or I might go and protest if there's none after being teased by this new plot line 😶

I do like these novellas that are included after each main book, giving you more of the female POV.
This one will only take a couple hours to read & it ties up all the loose ends.

It's like an epilogue of the epilogue giving you an insight it what happens a couple of years after the main book, then fast forwarding 12 years on - I won't give too much info for spoilers, but the spice is HOT throughout the book, showing how their BDSM dynamic & their actual relationship & marriage has progressed & developed throughout the years.

Oh my God this novella was EVERYTHING.

Westin and Diane were still living in my head rent free so the fact that we got a whole bonus epilogue novella of them had me over the moon.

I loved seeing what these two were up to after the book and as always, Miss Raya delivered and I devoured every single bit of it.

I love this world and these characters so, so much. It’s insane. And that little epilogue at the end of the novella MELTED me. IYKYK. 🥹

I love these beautiful futures that these families get after overcoming their trials and tribulations, especially Diane and her greatest happily ever after. Keeping that fire alive from first sight and building an amazing life together. And then on to the next generation and I squealed at the very very end.

You cannot go wrong with Raya Morris Edwards and her kinky cowboys. I loved, loved, loved Westin, but this novella/epilogue/follow up was *chef’s kiss*. I loved seeing the characters later on, and having the look at the way life continued on for them and the relationships that evolved with Deacon and Jensen as part of the ranch was great. I loved the addition of them in Westin and I’m excited to see where their stories take us.

The look at Cash and Allison all grown up?! OMG Raya, it was everything I have ever wanted from novels where characters have kids. The way that Westin and Sovereign navigated the relationship between the two was amazing. The icing on the cake - the Canterbury Tales inscription?! I could not have been more pleased!

I love these novella that Raya writes to extend the story so that we can revisit these couples years later to see their family and their life.

Darling Bride is the novella to Westin, it’s got an extended epilogue and should be read after reading Westin. For the ultimate reading experience I would recommend reading Sovereign and Redbird prior.

It’s so hard to review this one without spoilers but it’s short and hot I loved it. Bring on Decon in April.
