After Armaan, I’ve been eagerly waiting for the next Oshnov book to know what happens next.
The story picks up from the last book, where both brothers are shot in a deadly attack. Vedant, critically injured, is rushed to a hospital in London, the same one where Reina works as a surgeon. Putting her career at stake, she chooses to operate on him and saves his life. Little did she know that she’s saved the very devil himself, one who would turn her world upside down. Can Reina care for the man she despises and absolutely can’t get along with? And how will Vedant react once he knows she’s a Mehra?
I was so curious about Vedant and Reina as we know so little about them, and also coz I didn’t know if I would get over Armaan’s spell. I mean, could anyone be any hotter? But to my surprise, they both exceeded my expectations, and how. Vedant, the calm one, the fixer, is adorable. Initially sulky and grumpy over being bedridden, he later transforms into this charming avatar, totally smitten by his gorgeous doctor. Reina, meanwhile, furious at being stuck with him, finds herself drawn to him. Usually, shy and timid, she’s bold and vocal in the presence of Vedant, surprising even herself. Watching her take the lead every time they are together was delightful. And their chemistry? It positively sizzles. Her journey from being shy to assertive is beautifully portrayed, while Vedant’s romantic side shines through as he tries to win her over.
There’s thrill, suspense, action, drama, romance—you name it, you have it. Thrill and suspense—their enemy strikes again. Action—there’re punches and kicks aplenty. Drama—Mihir and Ananya together. Do I need to say more? Their interactions practically ooze sexual tension and drama. And Rajeev? Yet again, he proves what a fab brother he is. Watch out for the bromance here between the men. It’s as good as the romance.
With swoony romance and gripping action, this is a must read. Next is the most anticipated book, Mihir’s. Am desperately waiting to know their story. Also, it promises to be a book full of revelations, one that I can’t wait for. Sapna, bring their story soon.
