Listen one thing about Natavia is you gonna get some laughs from her stories. These crazy fools had me rolling 😂 & the ghettoness I just love it. It gave me nothing but nogalstic vibes. The rawness and grittiness of the streets (chefs kiss). If you into urban romance with some ghetto, gun toting street ish this is for you.
Rasha, or Raz as her friends call her, is a street-smart city girl balancing her gig as a dietary aide at the hospital while pouring her soul into her writing whenever she gets a moment. Living in the hood with her boyfriend Monte, she’s starting to see that he’s not the dreamy prince she once imagined. Then comes Ali, her childhood crush, with his killer looks, deep pockets, and that irresistible charm that makes her heart race. It’s like she can’t help but be drawn to him, and he’s always there to rescue her, playing the role of her knight in shining armor. But let’s keep it real—being with Ali is flipping Raz’s world upside down, and she’s not the same girl she used to be.
The plot twists and juicy secrets will have you gasping, while the drama will have you rolling with laughter, wondering what kind of wild ride you’re on. Natavia knows how to serve up the laughs, and these outrageous characters had me cracking up! The ghetto fabulous vibes are totally my thing, bringing back all the nostalgic feels. The raw, gritty essence of the streets? Absolute perfection! If you’re into urban romance mixed with a dash of street chaos and some gun-toting shenanigans, then this is your vibe, darling!
Raz & Ali raised my blood pressure 🤣 whewww they had me stressed out! It really seemed like Raz couldn’t catch a break for a while there. I loved me some Ali but boy did he have me looking at him sideways for a lil minute 🤨 Ali was crazy af & turned Raz into a mini him 🤣
Raz deserved a real genuine love and so did Ali. Monte used my girl baaadd. He was the only experience she had when it came to a man, so she didn’t know how to really take Ali. Ali’s story about his childhood really hit me man. I literally had tears in my eyes 🥺 he truly didn’t deserve any of the things that happened to him. That led to him not knowing how to really express his feelings and love. They both were experiencing new waters and learning how to tread them with each other.
There are a few things that happened in the story that I wasn’t expecting 🤯 literally had me shook when it came to light. I’m glad Raz & Ali were able to overcome every obstacle they had to endure 🫶🏾
Raz and Ali had me skressed! My girl Ray went through a lot but she rose to the occasion. That street life ain't easy. But they worked out their verse of a HEA.
4.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Love the story line. I had to keep reminding myself that Raz is young because babbbbeeeey…. The immaturity was LOUD! Overall a really good read!
