In a world where loyalty rules all, how do you know where it should lie?
Lacy enjoyed staying at the clubhouse of the motorcycle club that rescued her and her friend. She also enjoyed the company of the club’s VP, Eagle. He was the one that took her in and made sure she had whatever she needed. Everything except his heart. She knew he didn’t owe her anything and had already done so much, but she couldn’t help but wish he felt something for her. She tried to hold on, remembering all he did for her, but she started wondering if she deserved better.
Eagle was a man of honor, and never made promises he didn’t intend to keep. He had moved his way up to Vice President of his club by showing loyalty and commitment to all things Destiny’s Enforcers. The recent assassination of the club’s president was still unsolved, and they were trying to locate the new crime ring that popped up in town. Not to mention, they knew there was a rat on the inside but hadn’t found out who it was. He had no time or desire for an Old Lady. Even if he wanted to, getting involved wouldn’t be fair to Lacy. At least that’s what he kept telling himself.
When Lacy decides she can’t stick around and keep getting hurt, regardless of how much Eagle had done for her, it breaks her heart but she believes it's time to be loyal to herself. Even though Eagle thought he didn’t want anything more, he doesn’t take the news of Lacy’s absence well and it starts to affect his responsibilities as VP.
Can he get his head on straight long enough to win her back before someone else gets hurt, taken, or worse?
I am obsessed with this series!! Eagle is the second book in the Destiny’s Enforcers MC club. You have to read the first book, Falcon to understand what is going on in this book. This is the story of Eagle and Lacy. Eagle is the VP in the mc club and Lacy is one of two girls rescued by the club from a trafficking ring. They fall for one another but Eagle keeps Lacy at a distance because of what happened in his childhood with his parents. He never wanted to have the same outcome his parents had. Lacy decides she can’t keep putting herself through this and makes a drastic decision that sends Eagle into a tailspin. Continuing the story from the first book the mc club is still looking for the killer of Raven, the once club president and the connection to the girls that are going missing from local strip clubs. Lacy has decided to go back to work as a stripper and this upsets Eagle but he has no say because he hasn’t claimed Lacy as his yet. You will have to read this great story to find out what happens next!!
Loved Eagle and Lacy!! I understood both of their apprehensions in the beginning. With his mommy issues and her sh>t men issues! But the moment he realized what he was losing! Aaaah! 💜💜💜
Can not wait to read Jackals story! Hopefully Shiv gets her daddy biker ;)
Book Review by Mimi Eagle by: April D Berry ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️
The magnificent April D Berry has done it again. Eagle & Lacy’s story does not disappoint. We open still chasing down leads on Ravens death & the new crime ring leader by one of there own. The men of Destinys Enforcers will not stop until they find out who the rat among them is. They continue with the help of Keys to chase down lead after lead. Lacy is falling for Eagle but he has always been honest with her & told her he is not looking for anything serious. When she feels like she has to take care of herself & leaves the club. Eagle has feelings he’s never experienced but a lot is going down with the club & club business always comes first. Will he choose to continue alone or will he realize his feelings for Lacy are deeper than he wants to admit. April D Berry is an amazing writer you feel like you are part of the story I laughed, balled my eyes out, Screamed at Eagle more than once and cussed at Lacy. This book has it all. Romance, some spice an amazing story. The plot twist is a roller coaster of emotions that you can’t quit riding. I couldn’t put this book down. If you haven’t read anything by April D Berry yet this is a great Series to start with! Destinys Enforcers!
I loved every second of Eagle! While Eagle is hot as heck, I definitely wanted to reach through the book and smack him a few times. I *love* Lacy and how she held the line with Eagle when she needed to and when he grovels…. Yes please. Their growth as individuals and a couple was fantastic. The over-arcing plot April D Berry is carrying throughout the series is awesome and I can’t wait to read more!!
I'm so loving Destiny's Enforcers series. This book is as good as book 1. Lacy a strong, selfless to a fault FMC. Eagle is a stubborn, protective, no attachment MMC. Fighting their feelings until it's almost to late. This book is spicy, suspenseful, and we find out who the rat is 😬. I'm so looking forward to the next book.
Exactly what I needed for the next instalment of this series. I was so excited to read this one and find out more about Eagle and Lacy and it did not disappoint. It was fun seeing Lacy grow and learn to ask for what she wanted and interesting watching Eagle figure things out and fight for her. My only criticism was that it didn’t feel like Eagle actually did any work to get to that point. Just undid years of trauma overnight. But honestly that was just a small issue in the grand scheme. More puzzle pieces in the overarching mystery kept me engaged. Really looking forward to the next book to find out more about Jackal and gain more insight into the mystery.
Once again April D Berry leaves me sitting on the edge of my seat wanting more. The suspence, angst, and friction between characters could light a fire.
Like any MC club there is secrecy, and suspence. Trying to ferret out who within their family has betrayed them is only one of many plots to this story. I could not put it down and now need more!
This was such a great read! Not going to lie, I wanted to hop in this book and slap some sense into Eagle. But I cheered Lacy for sticking to her guns!
The writing is fantastic making the story flow nicely. A little club drama and a lot of relationship drama to keep you entertained! The characters are so relatable and adorable. I loved Lacy since book one but I did have to warm up to Eagle. The groveling helped 😉. But I fell for him anyway. I can’t wait for book 3!!
Eagle is not one for love. He has seen what it does to people and he doesn’t trust it. Lacy has had enough and decides to move on.
I’m so loving this series. The guys are these big scary bikers but underneath it all they are the biggest cinnamon rolls ever. And reading about the lengths Eagle goes to to win Lacy back shows just how big of a cinnamon roll he is. Until something happens that may keep Eagle and Lacy apart forever.
I so love eagle April Berry has done it again I fell in love with falcon and I was so waiting patiently for eagle and of course you did not disappoint Yes he had a gavel his way back into her life because she wanted more than just someone he can come back to the clubhouse to have sexy time she deserves everything and he knew he messed up and when he got onto his knees begging her please to giving up him another chance this book did not disappoint at all I wish it did not end I wish it continued It was everything and I had a hint on everything of who was a rat who did this and that and I was spot on of course in the new book that's coming out or I cannot wait but eagle is my man it's a hard with book is better eagle or falcon Right now it's equal I love this book 100% recommend
Such an amazing book! Eagle knows how to pull on your heart too! He definitely has growth through the book and even though he wasn't necessarily a 'bad' guy to begin with, he just didn't open his eyes to see what was going on with Lacey. I cried, I laughed, and I definitely fell in love with these characters.
book 2 starts off where book one left off. this time we follow Eagle and Lacy through their relationship. both of them scared to share their feeling which ultimately leads to heartache. this book had the same mystery as to who the rat in the club was and then on top of that they still needed to find who was behind the missing girls. the twist was one i saw coming and was still shocked when it happened. and let me mention that i totally identify with Shiv... i want my biker daddy... i cant not wait to read about Jackal and Shiv.
I totally Loved this book. It was just as good as the first one. If you like MC Biker club stories then this is for you!!! I Highly Recommend this series!

REVIEW: Eagle is the 2nd book in the Destiny's Enforcers MC: Atlanta Chapter that continues the relationship between Lacy & Eagle from the first book. Lacy was rescued alongside her friend Daisy from the human traffickers by Falcon and Eagle. She had an instant attraction to Eagle that started as a casual intimate relationship that grew into love on her part but he wasn't ready to commit. Eagle never makes promises he doesn't intend to keep especially when it come to women as his parents relationship scarred him against loving a woman that could break his heart. Lacy ultimately decides she is not going to stay in a relationship that isn't going anywhere. I knew that the moment that Lacy planned to leave the clubhouse without letting anyone but Daisy know where she was staying it was going to drive Eagle crazy enough that he would admit to himself his feelings for Lacy. That decision makes Eagle aware that if he doesn't take a chance at showing Lacy that he loves her he will lose her forever.
I was so happy the moment that Eagle finally told Lacy that he had feelings for her that he at first he wasn't able to admit to himself but that he was desperate for her and wouldn't let her go. I found it such an adorably cute moment when Eagle and his father Jimmy gifted Lacy a car to show that he cared about her and her safety so she could make it home without having to take a strange cab. But then they are both hit with the a dangerous situation that involves the Club rat that is connected to the new human trafficking crime ring who puts Lacy & Eagle's life in danger. The moment that Lacy and her friend Shiv had been kidnapped I knew something was going to happen which it did as Butch showed that he was the Club rat but it also lead to Eagle getting shot trying to save Lacy. April Berry has delivered another page turning MC Romance that left me anxiously waiting to find out what's next for the Destiny's Enforcers MC especially Jackal and Shivana.
EAGLE is the second instalment in April D Berry’s contemporary, adult DESTINY’S ENFORCERS MC: ATLANTA CHAPTER erotic, MC romance series. This is tattoo artist and VP Eagle aka Eddie, and exotic dancer Lacy’s story line. EAGLE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty but I recommend reading the series in order for backstory and cohesion.
NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Eagle and Lacy) EAGLE focuses on the building but struggling relationship between Destiny’s Enforcers MC Vice president Eagle, and exotic dancer Lacy. Several months earlier, Lacy, along with her best friend Daisy (FALCON #1) were rescued by club members Falcon and Eagle but Eagle’s attempts at seducing Lacy ended with Lacy walking out of Eagle’s life, in an attempt to find her own independence. Struggling with what happened and why, Eagle battles between head and heart knowing he hurt the woman with whom he is falling in love but all is not well in the world of the MC, they suspect a mole in the brotherhood, and our heroine will be caught in the middle.
The world building follows the tempestuous relationship between our story line couple. Lacy is hoping for something more but Eagle’s inability to show emotion pushed Lacy out of his life In an effort to start anew, Lacy takes her first steps towards independence but steps that will place her in the direct line of fire.
The relationship between Eagle and Lacy begins as a rescue, along with the rescue of Lacy’s friend Daisy. Eagle is determined to claim Lacy as his own but his actions belie his growing love for our story line heroine. The $ex scenes are intimate and intense.
Most of the previous story line characters return as well as the introduction of Eagle’s father Jimmy, Lucy’s friend Shiv, and new enforcer Jackal. The requisite evil has many faces.
EAGLE is a story of struggle and acceptance, family and friendships, betrayal and obsession, relationships and love. The premise is melodramatic and tragic; the romance is passionate; the characters are desperate, determined and struggling.
This is the second book in Destiny’s Enforcers MC: Atlanta Chapter and I could not put it down until I finished wee into the morning! I didn’t think I could love a story as much as I did with Falcon, but here we are!
Continuing from book 1 trying to discover who was behind the death of their Prez and Father-like leader, Raven and the new crime ring leader by a traitor from within. Eagle was elected and promoted to VP when they lost Raven. Lacy, is Daisy’s friend, and was rescued in the last book with Daisy from a Strip club cover for trafficking ring.
Eagle and Lacy come together when she was rescued. Both developing feelings but neither know what to do with them due to what he experienced growing up with his parents and by what she experienced with the past men in her life. When Lacy is wanting more than what Eagle can give her she decides to look out for herself and leave the MC club. As with all the bikers, the club is the priority, over everything.
The way the author made you feel the angst and emotions between the two was astronomical. It had me literally sobbing! Definitely a lot of up and down emotions for me with this one, from the heartache I was feeling for Lacy and Eagle, to the suspense, the lurking danger the club is trying to solve and the heart clenching event with Eagle. Could not put the book down!
The world building continues to unfold as well as character development. The characters each have strengths as well as their own flaws that make them relatable. The storyline is delivered meticulously having the reader wanting more! Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys MC romances or romances in general. You’ll be hooked! Now I need to dive in book 3!
Could be read as standalone stories but better read in order. This book is all about Eagle and Lacy. SPOILERS FOR BOOK ONE. In book 1 both Lacy and her friend Daisy were trapped in a forced prostitution ring in Jersey, both were dancers at a strip club there but sometimes had to provide “extras” when told to. Daisy had made an impact on Falcon during a normal lap dance. Falcon and his brothers came back for her when they realised what was going on.
Lacy After ending up in Georgia with the MC following the dramatic rescue in book 1 Lacy has been staying in Eagle’s room. He’s a great guy but emotionally detached, yes they ended up having sex eventually and it’s good, the best actually but that’s it. It doesn’t seem like Eagle wants a real relationship not like Daisy and her man, is it wrong to dream of more? Lacy decides to make a move knowing that it’s going to hurt.
Eagle He likes Lacy, she’s not demanding and she seems to understand club life but he doesn’t want an old lady ever, he saw how badly that went for his Dad. He knows it’s not really fair to Lacy maybe he should let her go?
There’s an overarching plot line to the series, offscreen the club president Raven was shot and killed, there appears to be a link to human trafficking as well as an unknown rat in the club.
The characters are relatable and easy to empathise with and whilst there’s no holding back from bloodshed the series is ironically mostly MC lite. Definitely worth reading.
"I just devoured Eagle: Destiny's Enforcers MC: Atlanta Chapter Book 2 by April Berry, and I'm still reeling from the experience! Berry's masterful storytelling weaves a complex web of loyalty, brotherhood, and romance that's impossible to put down.
Eagle's journey is raw, emotional, and utterly captivating. The way Berry balances his tough, rugged exterior with a deep vulnerability is pure genius. And the chemistry between him and Lacy was undeniable! I loved them so much.
What I love most about this series is the way Berry explores the complexities of MC life without glossing over the harsh realities. Her characters are multi-dimensional and relatable, with flaws and strengths that make them feel like real people.
Overall, Eagle is a must-read for fans of MC romance. April Berry has solidified her place as one of my go-to authors, and I'm eagerly awaiting the next installment in the Destiny's Enforcers series. Definitely Your Next 5⭐ Read..-I'd give it ten if I could!"
The story has pain, secrets, kidnapping, and heartbreak.
If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first: Falcon: Destiny's Enforcers MC: Atlanta Chapter Book 1
This is Lacy and Eagle’s story. Lacy has been with Eagle since she was rescued. But with no job and no money she knows she is dependent on him. She has feelings but he does not seem to have feelings. So she leaves. She gets a job and is able to get money. Eagle is not happy. He was not sure he could really ever love Lacy but as soon as she left, he knew that was not true. Now he has to prove that he has feelings for her, and he wants a future. Danger is still lurking in the form of a trader in the club. As they try and figure out who that is Lacy gets taken. Can they get her back? Will they finally figure out who the enemy in the club is?
This is the second story in the Destiny's Enforcers MC: Alanta and it can be read as a standalone but most enjoyed by reading Falcon first. We first met Lacy in Falcon and I truly loved her sassiness and her no care attitude. She is Daisy's bestfriend and I wanted to know more about her backstory. In this book we learn more about her and what her heart wants. I love how she stood up for herself and her own worth. Eagle is a strong alpha male but he is truly just a man afraid to love. The drama was so intriguing and I loved every word. I couldn't put this story down and I need more of the Destiny's Enforcers MC.
I love every book I have read by April, but let me tell you I LOVE her MC books!!!!! This has everything from world building, character development, to all the emotions a reader could ask for. The only thing it leaves me wanting is the next book!
Book two begins us back to the mystery but this time we are following Lacy and Eagle, however we still get snips of Daisy and Falcon from book one. The plot keeps thickening and while we get a HEA for Lacy and Eagle we are still waiting for the mystery of who and why Raven was taken out, and I cannot wait to see what the next book uncovers.
Another great read!!! Couldn't put it down. I will say I did not see that coming!! I love how the women in this MC don't take any crap, although Lacy has her heart guarded, she is feisty. Her and Daisy have been through a lot together, and their friendship bond is solid. This series will make you wanting more, and you'll want to push the guys in to the get a clue club! Can't wait for Jackals story!!!
Wow! Eagle: Destiny’s Enforcers MC: Atlanta Chapter Book 2 by April D. Berry is a fantastic MC romance read. Lacy pulled me in and Eagle redeems himself to make me swoon. I also love that the author sets up book 3 (already out!) and I can’t wait to see what’s next in the mysterious saga and tragic loss of Raven. Something tells me it’s gonna be another fantastic read.
This is the second book in the Destiny’s Enforcers MC Atlanta Chapter series and continues where the last book ended; this time delving into Eagle and Lacy’s story. April knows how to write a strong storyline with believable characters! This book had me hooked from the beginning. I couldn’t put it down and am wanting more of this series.
I'm loving this MC series, and Eagle was so good! I think our MMC just needed to gain some dang sense to get Lacy to love him back in the way that she needed. But man, once he got there, it was just delicious. Lacy is a feisty heroine that we all love to root for! Can't wait to read more in this series and the sexy MMCs are just an awesome added bonus. HOT!!!
This is going to sound weird. I love this series. I love the story. I love the way Lacy had him groveling, but didn't make him. BUT....the writing is entirely too repetitious. I get it, you have young officers. I don't think I needed it explained to me no less than three times.
I love when a big burly guy grovels. Lacy got her backbone and spoke up for herself. Eagle figured it out and did what he had to do! I knew who it was and can’t wait to find out what happens to this person.
