Samvel Aleksanyan (Sam Aleks) is an Armenian-born American artist working in Los Angeles, CA. Sam was born on May 6th, 1993 in Yerevan, Armenia. On September 5th, 2001, he moved to the United States with his immediate family. He has lived in Los Angeles and maintained an active interest in both visual art and literature ever since. Sam began studying art at the age of 14. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature (Honors) in May, 2016 and a Master’s Degree in English (Creative Writing) in May, 2018.
