This was a quick novella, but it left you wanting more of Jaycee and Ian's story. I loved how much I could relate to Jaycee in both age, body type and the fact that my husband is younger than me, not that much but younger still. Evil ex's toxic words live with you for long after they are out of your life. It takes the right man to ease the insecurities. I love that Ian could show Jaycee that. What a great novella, worth the read.

Loved it

This one is the perfect novella with a plus sized FMC and a reverse age gap all under 150 pages long.

Jaycee and Ian are a couple I hope to see again. Their chemistry was perfect and he definitely made up for the damage caused by her ex.

Some of my favorite highlights
Age is just a number for me. We are both consenting adults. I’m legal to drink, and she’s legal to look f**king edible.

“I’ll bet you breakfast in the morning that I have your name tattooed across my left @$$ cheek.”

“Your begging was so pretty. You’re such a good boy.”

This is a must read. I hope to see a book about Trey and her sister Phoebe.

Wow! Wow!!Wow!!! I enjoyed it and the plot was a good concept. The author had this down to a tee.

From the first encounter to the last page, the chemistry between these two was off the chart. It was a little bit slow for me but when the action picked up, it certainly did. I would love to see more of this couple.

I love Ian’s confidence and how he put Jaycee at ease. He knew what he wanted and was confident to go after it.

There were a bit of avoidable errors but not too bad to stop the enjoyment of the book.

If you love reverse age gap, then you will enjoy this.

This was another interesting book by Casiddie Williams. I fell in love with her writing with Hazel's Harem and haven't looked back yet.

This book follows a 40 something, recently divorced woman as she enjoys her first ever one night stand with a 20 something year old young man. They meet at a club, pushed together by the fact that his hair color matches the color of her dress. By the end of the night, she regains her self-esteem and possibly falls in love.

I love Casiddie's writing style and she is great at creating a world you don't want to leave. I laughed at a lot of this book. This book is well written and developed. I loved the characters and plot. There were surprisingly not flow or pace issues either and that's unusual for me. I can't wait to read more books by this author, soon.

ARC Review
Paint The Night Blue is a spicy novella about Jaycee, a newly divorced 43 year old that caught her ex cheating and Ian, a 21 year old self proclaimed nerd. Jaycee is a bigger girl and confident in herself but her ex did hurt her self-esteem a bit. Ian is young, but knows what he wants. And he wants Jaycee. She takes him back to her place for her first one night stand.
They enjoy each other's company in many ways.

Paint the Night Blue was a fun novella with a plus sized woman who lets loose with an enamored younger man. I really enjoyed Casiddie’s attention to how plus sized women can feel with attention— it’s hard to believe you’re not being made fun of. I hear that so loud!! If you’re looking for a fun, fast, spicy read this is a great one!
