Jenny slowly turned and faced an unimaginable Standing in front of her on its hind legs was a full-grown American black bear.
Jenny Woods has never set foot outside of the Bronx, but on a school field trip to Balsam Lake Mountain Wild Forest she gets separated from her classmates and lost in the wilderness. With nothing but a pocketknife and her favorite book she must rely on her instincts to survive. Faced with some of the toughest challenges in her life, struggling in the harshest of environments, Jenny fights to find her way home.
I enjoy adventure books and this book filled that bucket. Too many unrealistic happenings and lack of a climax earned the 3 star rating. Some editing errors caught my attention, as well. Good, not great.
