I was sceptical about buying this book because I am not familiar with Java and thought I did not have the right background knowledge to read and understand it. Actually, the book is explained in a simple way that gets straight to the point without too many turns of phrase, with a pace that is slow enough to understand and fast enough to never get bored. As you go on, chapter after chapter, you get more into the subject, with examples and pratical points.
