The Kingdom of the Stars has fallen. And it is up to Orion and his guild to take it back.
Deceived by a tyrant who has falsely declared him dead, Orion struggles with the weight of his loss—not only of his kingdom, but of his father. Choosing to embrace his role as Guildmaster, he faces a grim his people will never know safety while the usurper clings to her stolen throne.
With nowhere else to turn, Orion sets off on a perilous journey to the Druidlands, seeking an alliance with former adversaries who are reluctant to support a prince stripped of his title and his magic. With time running out, he must navigate the treacherous forest of hidden foes, all while grappling with his deepening feelings for Astrid, whose curse is slowly eating away at her.
Orion must offer the Druid Queen what she desires most, before Nyra can make a wish that will destroy Astoria forever. But the Queen’s price may be more than he can bear to pay. As he weighs his kingdom against his heart, Orion confronts a heart-wrenching decision that will determine the fate of his people. Will he forge the alliances necessary to save them, even if he has to sacrifice what he holds most dear?
The battle for the Kingdom of the Stars has now begun. Who will emerge victorious?
*As with the first book, this is a spice-free young adult romantasy.*

I loved that we got to learn so much more about these characters! The romance was perfect, and absolutely adorable, the action was awesome as well! I loved all of the new characters introduced. The second half felt very fast, it felt like plot twist after plot twist. It was entertaining but I do wish it slowed down a little. Some parts were a little overwhelming. I wish we got to see more of Nova and the others.
Okay I seriously devoured this in one go. The whole vibe just hit—magic forests, curses, betrayals, and that slow burn between Orion and Astrid? Loved it. The world keeps getting bigger and cooler, and I’m all in. And omg, the pirate captain? Total scene-stealer. Some parts were a bit fast-paced, yeah, but honestly, I didn’t care—I was hooked. Can’t wait for the next one.
