HOLY SHIT. This book was so hot. What's better than having one boyfriend? Having two that look exactly the same HAHAHAHAHAA.

So, there was definitely good vs bad twin vibes and I ate that shit up. The unhinged, psychotic twin spotted Blake first, stalked her and decided ultimately that she was his whether she knew it or not. He gets sent to prison and asks his brother to keep an eye on her and make sure she stays safe, but he ends up falling for her too.

Of course, the other brother gets out of jail eager to see his "angel" only to find out that his brother has been seeing her behind his back.. YIKES!

No worries though, once they both figure out that she wants them both, they quit fighting over her and decide they're good at sharing, so why not?

I loved this book so much, it was so freakin' spicy!

And another one that hit the right spot, a little bit dark, a little bit gritty, bad versus good, but together these brothers were perfect.

And of course I had to go and like the psychotic brother over the other..🤷‍♀️ He just had more of a dare devil charm about him, a walking talking red flag, of course in life I'd run the other way but in books I kind of gravitate towards them, the more unhinged, the better, the killing part is just another side to him lol And Zayden well he was more messed up than I was expecting..

I went into this one blind, didn't really know what I was getting myself into with this one, but god this surprised me with how easily it pulled me under, I really enjoyed this one and will definitely have to read more by this author.

After what could possibly have been Zayden's death after a job came to close for comfort he swears that night he sees an angel walking away from him, it took him three months to track her down and then it was pretty much game over, he was a goner for her, obsessed taken to a whole new level, from tracking *coughs* stalking her from her workplace back to her apartment over and over again. She's oblivious to the whole thing, which is probably a good thing because on one such night he saved her and got himself a one way ticket to prison.

This is where his brother Dominic comes into the picture because whilst he's incarcerated he asks him to keep an eye on her and protect her not expecting that his brother too would fall under the obsessive spell.

Twenty eight year old Blake broke up from her boyfriend six months ago moved to Seattle with the help from her best friend Gabby and her husband and is slowly getting back on her feet, she works at a bar and lives alone.

Dominic took his brothers advice and started keeping an eye on Blake, but instead of hiding in the shadows and stalking from afar Dominic actually went into the bar each night, ordered one drink and then left seeing that she made it safely back home. Of course things between them progressed at a warped speed, a few conversations, a few sleepovers, a date then whiplash she's moved in with him.

Annnnd what do you know Zayden called in a favour from the one man he should never have rung and he's released from prison doing the odd jobs he's sent out on as part payment and fighting his brother over the girl they are both head over heels in love with. Whiplash as they hashed it out. But of course no decisions were made and they just ended up sharing. Kinky as f#ck with no complaints to be had by Blake...

I'm so glad I picked this one up because HOT DAMN. Being shared by two fine ass twin brothers that get jealous easily? SOUNDS LIKE HEAVEN TO ME. The smut was insanely hot and I really did enjoy this book. The only reason I've cut half a star is because I feel like there wasn't enough reasoning/an explanation given for certain things that had happened. I wish we'd gotten some background info too. But other than that, it was an easy, drama free read that I would totally recommend if you have a *ahem* dirty fantasy of being shared and loved by twin brothers hehe😏 I feel like I've been wanting to read about brothers sharing a woman for a long time now and this is finally a book that's lived up to those expectations🥰

It started off decently and I was really interested in how this was all going to work out between them after the one brother basically swooped in on his brother’s girl. I was excited to the drama! Sadly it went downhill really fast. It’s just a lot of fighting between everyone and smut. I didn’t like how mean the h was to the Hs but then as soon as she’s horny then all is forgiven and she wants to have sex with them. She slapped one, said she hated them, called the other names, etc etc etc but as soon as they touched her she was all for it. The BBS here was extreme and the guys are just simps who don’t care what she does to them including cheat on them. Not a dynamic that I want in my dark romance books.

The last half of the book is where things really went off the rails. Shock value scene after shock value scene after gimmick after gimmick. Super disappointing because there actually was a halfway decent story in the first bit that could have been developed properly into something fun to read instead I was just cringing through the whole last bit.

Honestly I need to start being okay with dnf-it a book I’m not enjoying instead of forcing myself to finish it. I felt with this book like I was loving it one second and then super bored the next. It was fun to see the dynamic between the 3 main characters play out but when they sort of figured it out, it got boring.
The writing could definitely need some work and the excessive amount of smut was a bit annoying, otherwise entertaining to a certain point.

“I knew we were going to be bound to each other for all of eternity. Even if I had to drag her to hell with me.” Romantic.. yet slightly threatening. For context, this was said before he’d even spoken to the FMC. However, we can’t fault the fact he was committed to this (imaginary) relationship. We love commitment 💕

I am a big fan of anything dark at the moment, so I was invested in the level of delusion and obsession that the MMCs brought to the table.

To clarify, this was a ménage romance where the MMCs were brothers and pretty…complex individuals. One brother was psychotically obsessed with the FMC and essentially stalked her to ‘keep her safe’. Stalker logic 101. The other brother was thrown into this situation after the first brother asked him to watch over the FMC in his absence. There was an unfortunate 👀 incident that got him arrested.

To be clear, these men aren't morally grey, they are straight-up murderers. I would like to say it was always justified, but I don't know if I can. Zayden was unhinged and Dom was the strong, silent type. They both had issues, but I still enjoyed their personalities. Blake, our FMC was far from ‘normal’, so she would’ve probably levelled them out.

I say ‘probably’ because I dnf-ed at 35%, so I don't know if it did. At the 30% mark, a love triangle started to form which I wasn't expecting, but maybe I should have. I wasn't too keen on the direction it was going and it appeared more stressful than it needed to be. For me, reading Why Choose takes the stress out of a book because no decisions have to be made. The love triangle plot twist here just threw me off.

I also wasn't keen on where the Gabby and Christian storyline was going. It seemed to appear out of nowhere. Especially as the characters were introduced as normal, but as soon as the MMCs entered her life, her support system was actually full of weirdos.

Maybe I jumped ship slightly prematurely, but I can't deal with love triangles. It’s just my personal preference, but it still gets 3 stars because I enjoyed the writing style and the ‘darkness’ was in full force.

I fucking binged this book all day today and that is so unlike me, it was that fucking good and that fucking addicting and the audio was incredible😮‍💨 hot possessive, twin brothers?! Sign me the fuck up (no literally this is my dream)

Somehow Blake caught the eye of two obsessive mercenaries, I hope she knows how lucky she is.

This doesn’t start out as your conventional why choose and I was so curious to how this was gonna go and it went completely perfect. I was in love with Dom from the gate and I was like kinda want her with him 👀👀 but I quickly changed my mind after I got more from Zayden. There’s always one brother that’s Way more unhinged, and Zayden was that brother. He was giving me my primal and my knife play fix🤭🧎🏼‍♀️ don’t get me wrong my baby Dom was still burn the world for her and protective as fuck. These two brothers had me on my knees. And the jealousy and the banter between them was so good😂 don’t worry they get along when it really matters.

Even though the spice was 10 out of 10 🥵 the plot was SO GOOD. This the perfect example of a book that is so easy to binge, it had everything I was looking for in a fast paced read.

I fucking loved this shit and the star rating has me so concerned because what the fuck was there not to like ??? 😅 I love to have a good time while reading and this was the ultimate good time.

There is a whole list of content/trigger warnings, but Blood play, Knife play, and the Breading kink were the front runners throughout the book.

Chapter 33 was actually the hardest for me to read, I think, as it was the most graphic, and not in a smutty way.

Believe it or not, but there was a story in addition to the mfm moments. I would have liked a little more story? But I'll take what I can get. I don't like the instant lust/obsession/love, but there was *some* development.

The thing, though, which really got me, was that the boys were sweet. Like what? idk how, but they were cute!? If you ignore everything going on?!

D is so soft, such a caretaker, he feels so deeply. And Z is so misunderstood, truly. He is unhinged, but I was here for it.

"He looks over his shoulder and smiles at me, that smile that practically turns me gooey on the inside, like I’m sunlight, and he’s lived in nothing but darkness his whole life."

“I love it when you say my name, angel.” “Stop calling me that,” I grit out, doing my best to keep my head through his fucked-up mind games. “I can’t. That’s what you are. You’re my angel, and I’ll be your devil. Bound for all eternity. I’ll do anything to protect you, always know that.”

"I’d burn heaven itself to the ground to keep you as mine."

“I’ll love you until the end of time, angel. In this life, the next and every single one to come. It will always be you.”

The fmc is kind of meah, I don't understand what makes her special. She does eventually match the guys' and they work as a group.

I'm focusing on what I like, but there was a lot I didn't like as well... and I did skim some scenes that were not my cup of tea. To each their own, I guess. Read at your own risk.

This book was so bad. I am sorry if I am being harsh. I am someone who has read numerous RH and MFM romances. It is actually my favourite genre. After reading this particular book I am planning to maintain distance from this genre for a while. I am so done. The writing was very cliche. Things in this novel were happening so suddenly and out of nowhere. Nothing was explained in detail. The whole writing appeared to be from various subplots from different books. Very typical and cliche storyline. The heroine was sexually abused in her foster home by the foster dad and his friends. The two MMCs also had a difficult childhood. It wasn't interesting at all. Then their so called ex boss who rescued them when they were younger came back and was after the heroine not just because he wanted to find their weakness but because he was infatuated with her mother and she kept rejecting him. Now he wants the daughter (FMC). He was keeping an eye on her since she was a little girl and had sent his brother Ivan who raped her with her foster dad. Too much of a coincidence. The writing is too messed up. It was such a waste of time for me.

Whew.. this book was a WILD ride. Started & finished in one afternoon, loving every second of it. If you like completely unhinged, OBSESSED, morally grey book boyfriends… you will eat this book up. It starts off with a bang & just hooks you in from start to finish.

Graves follows Blake who has recently moved to Seattle following a break up with her boyfriend. Unbeknownst to her, she crosses paths with Zayden Graves one day & from then out on, he became obsessed… stalking her every move & making sure she’s safe. Well when he lands himself in trouble, he asks his twin brother, Dominic to keep an eye on her for him. Little did he know, Dom would come to have his own obsession with Blake…

Meh. Listen, I didn’t have high hopes or anything for this read or expectations. I only knew a basic premise of what it was about. I also didn’t have any issue with the content, I’ve read plenty of dark romances and reads with graphic violence too. So basically that isn’t what made me rate it the way I did. Buttttt I did have issues with the writing and I didn’t care about the characters sooo…

This is a story of twin brothers who both become obsessed with the same heroine and want to keep her as theirs. In all the unhinged, possessive ways. It just was sooo insta love and unhinged in like a not believable way for me. I didn’t believe they all fell in love that quickly and had the connections they supposedly did. It just felt cringe and the writing was just not my vibe at all.

I like an mmc who's not only dedicated and obsessed with our fmc but also very useful to her, and this book delivered just that! ♥️

The only reason it's not 5 stars is because of the fact that, the mmcs are mercenaries who of course kill bad men for money, which is fine, you won't hear me complaining about some murdering of men...

but when Blake asks one of them if they've ever killed women and children, one of them says not really, but a few times they've just killed the "really bad" ones...

Um, no. I don't want yall to kill women at all!

No women murder. Period.

Wtf is wrong with authors these days?

The second reason it's not quite a 5 stars was because of the epilogues and the abrupt ending.

Especially the first epilogue. It was a lot of telling me what happened, when Katelyn Taylor could have easily just dedicated a few more chapters showing us their lives for that year...

But all in all, this was pretty good!

Oh, and surprisingly I didn't hate the fmc at all!

Lately, i have had to tolerate dumb ass, desperate fmcs everywhere!

It's been so long since ive read fmcs who weren't desperate idiots with stale bread personalities except for being doormats and being head over heels in love with the mmc(s) for no reason... with no build-up... just a dumb bitch desperate for dick for absolutely no reason...

Ew.

Like, girl, stand up!

But Blake actually had a personality and she actually had decent self esteem, which is the bare minimum i ask, to be frank...

There are SO MANY things i loved about this.

unfortunately there were some things i didn’t love 😅

the beginning was so much telling like the h’s first pov chapter it was like “i did this, then walked over to here and did this, then this and that and i thought this” and it was excessive but it was really only that chapter and everything else flowed at a nice pace.

the ending! it felt so rushed for no reason. i wanted more back story and conclusion on the best friend and her husband! the conflict happens so close to the end that i thought for sure it was going to be more than a few chapters.

BUT ALSO THE ENDING. had me in the first half of the epilogue not going to lie 😅😅😅

safety wise: safe for me! the twins are obsessed from the second they see the h, but they see her at two different times so im guessing the less psychotic brother was with ow because they gave off former hoe vibes but that is all in my head because really none of their past is mentioned other than they’ve had a threesome with a woman before and the h was jealous because she wanted both of them but one H said that was when they were younger and dumb so who knows but i didn’t care all that much because these men were willing to literally sacrifice one another to make their girl happy 😭

This book was dark, disturbing, and completely unhinged in the best way. Twin brothers falling for the same woman set the stage for a twisted, tension filled story that kept me hooked. Their obsession drives them from fighting each other to battling anyone who dares threaten her, and the ride is just as chaotic as it sounds. The story was entertaining, full of shocking moments that had me wide eyed more than once.

Blake has had her fair share of trauma but has managed to make a mostly comfortable life for herself. Little does she know she’s caught the eye of an unhinged psychopath that will do just about anything to make her his.

When Zayden sets his eyes on his angel, there’s no going back and in the process of protecting her he lands himself in jail and makes the request of his twin brother Dom to watch over her. Blake never realizes the lengths Zay went to watch over her and she never got to meet him because he stayed in the shadows.

“You’re my angel, and I’ll be your devil. Bound for all eternity. I’ll do anything to protect you, always know that.”

Dom is just as entranced by Zayden’s angel and decides to also make her his. When Zay gets out of jail, these two go head to head to win Blake’s affection and heart.

“He’s not going to be the only one inside you with nothing between you two. You’re mine, baby, and now I’m gonna fuck you like it.”

But these two morally grey men who are in some darker underbelly dealings are in for a surprise when Blake wants both of them and with danger surrounding them, they’ll have to work together to get their HEA.

“She’s not choosing him. She’s not choosing me. She’s choosing us. We could both fight it, tear each other apart in the process, but in the end, it will only hurt her. She wants us, and whatever she wants, she gets.”

This was completely kinky, stalkerish, hot AF and everything I look for in my MFM dark romance. I mean what’s better than twins seeing to all your orgasmic needs?! Dom and Zay both had unique personalities that stood apart from each other and Blake was fierce and beautifully submissive. An addicting plot to go along with the romance and this story had me in a chokehold. Loved it.

I’m writing this from a hospital bed and this book is partially to blame(just kidding, heart problems again lolz). That being said I would unplug my heart monitor for the twins. The trauma bonding? Inject it directly into my bloodstream. There was no peace only an emotional blender—and I liked it. A lot. Katelyn Taylor, I hope your pillow is cold on both sides.

This book was everything I want in a dark romance messy, intense, and completely addictive. Possession ✔️ Obsession ✔️ Desire and lust at maximum ✔️.

Zayden? My dark, crazy daddy 😈🔥💗. He gave me so many jaw-dropping moments. There were scenes where I literally had to put the book down, stop, and be like "what is Zayden doing right now? Holy crap.” Then would read it over again like, no way, that did NOT just happen.”Delicious, sinful, shocking and I loved every second.

Dominic brought that dark daddy protector energy, while Zayden came in like the dark daddy avenger. Together? Deadly, dangerous, and impossible to resist.

The story had me shocked, blushing, and grinning through the sinful chaos exactly what a good dark romance should do.

💌 Verdict:Girl, this book left me a trembling mess 😭🔥. Shoutout to my Goodreads bestie Rebelle we suffered and screamed together through this one. I’m ruined. Zayden is officially my favorite dark daddy😈😍🥵🥵, and I don’t think I will ever be the same again.

I am speechless. I read this book in one sitting, I was hooked. Captivated. Enthralled. Obsessed.

Graves follows our two twin brothers, Dominic & Zayden. Both are highly skilled mercenaries. Dominic focuses on the tech & planning of their hits, while Zayden is the unhinged psycho killer of the two.

Zayden has his sights set on our FMC Blake, until he ends up getting arrested after protecting her from an attacker. Zayden asks his brother, Dominic, to look after her while he is locked away.

Once Dominic meets his twin brother’s obsession, he understands and falls into his own obsession.

However, Blake being loved by two dangerous mercenaries, makes her an easy target for those out to destroy the twins, which puts her in danger. Dom & Zay will do absolutely anything to protect the girl they love. But who will she choose?

Graves is a true dark romance with very dark themes and elements. I highly suggest making sure you are paying attention to the trigger warnings.

I absolutely devoured this book. I loved the different personalities between the twins and how they each show Blake their love for her.

Dom was softer, catering more to the soft & nurturing side whereas Zay was unhinged & primal, bringing her darkest fantasies to the surface but he absolutely worshipped her.

& The spice in this book, was, HOT. 🥵

Maybe I've been desensitized by all the dark romance I've been reading lately but this didn't pack that much of a punch. Not the way I was expecting. The third act was kind of meh, to be honest, and I felt like the storyline with Gabby went absolutely nowhere. Should I have been expecting more attention to the plot? Maybe not, maybe that's on me, but that's why it's not a five-star book for me.
The smut was smutting though, there were some truly unhinged smut scenes that I was surprisingly here for. Zayden is a kind of unhinged labradoodle I could really get behind and Dom was great too, although I can't lie - Zay was my favourite.
Also, one of my pet peeves is when author uses foreign words or phrases and either doesn't use them properly, or, as is the case here, misspelles them. Maybe it was the editing error but krasotka was spelled three different ways and only the last one was correct. That made me visibly cringe.
That's all I have to say.

The twins win! Such a great book. Have I told you I love twins?

Zayden the unhinged stalker is obsessed with his Angel. Darkness recognizes darkness. He lands himself away from her and recruits his twin brother Dominic to look over her. But off it doesn’t go as planned.

Blake is a warrior, I cheered that girl on and was in total awe of her. The book takes you on a wild ride and the brothers fight for Blake’ affection, but each being something unique to their dynamic.

Is this the darkest book I read ? No. I’m my dark scale it’s grey. I will add it is spicy, combo if the two is right up my alley.

This was my first time reading this author and I absolutely devoured this book. She delivers a gripping story that never loses itself in the spice, while still pushing boundaries hard. And when I say spice, I mean this is very much not for the faint of heart. There is a full menu of trigger warnings for a reason, and I genuinely recommend checking them first and protecting your mental health before diving in.
What really stood out to me was how well the story and heat were balanced. Nothing felt thrown in just to shock. The darkness has purpose, and the tension builds in a way that keeps you fully invested.
Dominic and Zayden are dark MMCs in every sense of the word. Brothers who are completely unhinged and unapologetic in their obsession with Blake. There’s no softening their edges or pretending they’re something they’re not, and that honesty made their characters hit even harder.
Bold, intense, and emotionally charged, this book knew exactly what it was and committed fully. I’ll absolutely be reading more from this author.

This book was ALL over my IG feed and so many people raved about it and I just knew that I had to see what all the fuss is about! Now I will be the first to tell you I do not enjoy why choose because I am such a monogamous person when it comes to my books but I really enjoyed this booked.

This book is definitely dark, unhinged and delicious! To add to those things, let's make the MMCs identical twin brothers which made it even more interesting! I loved the different dynamic between Zayden and Dominic. This is definitely a good twin/bad twin scenario. You have one who is completely crazy and off his rocker and the other one is also unhinged but more subdued. With that being said, it seems as if there is a debate on which brother is the better brother and best believe I have a favorite brother. So I will say this, DOMINIC is the better twin. I said what I said and you can fight me on it I don't care. That man had my whole heart.

With me stating who my favorite twin is, I will say this. I personally felt like Dominic got shafted in this book. Granted they both care about Blake and want to protect her with their lives, I felt like Dominic was an after thought in several scenes. I get that Dominic was supposed to look out for Blake when Zayden went to prison and not get in a relationship with Blake but I felt like once Zayden got back, Dominic was an after thought. For example, with every spicy scene that involved Dominic it also involved Zayden, where Blake and Zayden had a lot of alone time without Dominic. And I just felt like Zayden was extremely selfish. Dominic was willing to share Blake or give her up entirely to make she she was happy, whereas Zayden was going to keep Blake as his no matter what. I also didn't like how Zayden got BOTH the husband and father title. Like is Dominic chopped liver? With that being said, I think Dominic deserved better. I said it. You can fight me on it but those are my opinions.

Now I know this is a why choose but I also felt like this book felt more like it was supposed to be a love triangle where Blake was always going to choose Zayden but at the end it was a why choose. Yes she technically was not choosing either one but I felt like Blake always chose Zayden if that makes sense. So yeah my heart breaks for my boy Dom.

At the end of the day, I did enjoy this book. It was most definitely interesting and unhinged to say the least. Zayden kind of scared me. And I also LOVED the plot twist that I did NOT see coming . The last 15% of the book was so good!

The GRAVES brothers are wild, but if you want the Wildest one, it's definitely ZAYDEN. Oh, my goodness! Zayden is ultimately OBSESSED with/ his Angel, Blake, and will do everything to make her his!

Blake has gone through a lot and fought hard to survive through her trauma. When the Grave brothers entered, her life turned upside down, and she was strangely drawn to them. One twin is soft for her, but a psychoooooo, but he is the angel of darkness who will avenge anyone who has wronged you. The other twin, DOM is so suave and tech-savvy. He reminds me of North from the TBBT, but he's so romantic AF. BOTH WILL PROTECT YOU FOREVER.

If you love unhinged men who are twin brothers, BTW, who will go to the ends of the earth for this woman in UNCONVENTIONAL WAYS you can imagine, you will be scary but hot AF! I am going to say the red flag meter is off the roof!

Surprisingly, the story flowed well, and I binged the whole book from beginning to end. So, it's definitely a must-read for dark romance readers! Super SPICY!
