“I belong to no one, Shawn.”

I love the short stories by @author_theresa . They are just all cute, quick reads.

I really liked Shawn and Marketa. Their chemistry was strong from the beginning. The pregnancy was unexpected but Shawn stepped up and was there for her every step of the way.
Marketa’s dad was extremely overprotective and wrong for what he did to Shawn. He allowed the pain from his past to flow into how protective he was over Marketa.

I can’t wait for the next story by @author_theresa

This basketball romance novella was so damn good!

Marketa and Shawn’s relationship was full on with feelings from day one but cue her Dad and things get difficult to say the least! He makes things hard for Shawn and that leads to struggles and problems, for both him and Marketa, along the way.

It was a really lovely heartwarming story, tension in places and with a HEA which finished it nicely. A truly enjoyable read!

Book was a cute little story of “forbidden love”. Loved how Shawn turned out to be a good guy and not a typical jerk. Some of the spice scenes had me skipping past. Felt repetitive and just raunchy to be raunchy. Wasn’t my ideal kind of spice. Some grammatical errors but overall a good little quick read.

This book was such a great pallet cleanser! I read this book in one sitting because I just couldn’t put it down. 😍 The FMC standing up for herself was exactly what I hoped would happen for her. And I’m glad the MMC stood up to the FMC dad! 💪💪 Even the spice was top notch!!🥰🥰

Quick, sassy, spicy read.

Fmc just wants to live her own life but is stuck under her father’s thump once again after an injury.
Finding out that the fmc is his coaches daughter doesn’t deter the mmc from wanting her. Especially after discovering their one night stand led to lifelong consequences. He doesn’t leave the hospital because he wants to be there for her even when her father puts up every road block possible.

I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek from this author! I always love working with this author and this book did not disappoint. I am always down to read a sports romance and this one? Of course it was hot and steamy with the undercurrent of please make this work flooding through it! I kept hoping that things would work out for the best but I will not leave any spoilers! But it was completely worth the suspense and the read!

The spice!!! Wow! Starts within moments and is so hot! There is a cute story within too. Shawn (MMC) is one of the sweetest book boyfriends -I loved how attentive he was towards Marketa (FMC) throughout. This is a short, sweet, but very spicy novella about a forbidden relationship between a basketball player and his coach’s daughter. Easy to read and kept me reading late into the night.

A very quick spicy read to just switch your brain off and enjoy.
The one night stand turning out to be the bosses daughter is a funny situation and enjoyable to read.

Shawn’s a walking green flag so that’s lovely to read.

The dad’s behaviour in the book was unacceptable in my opinion and I didn’t love that everything was just forgiven.

I only gave this 3 stars because its a novella and could’ve been a really good big book or more like I wanted it to be 😉

As quoted straight from the book ‘from PG to NC-17 and beyond in meer seconds’ . This novella was really good and I enjoyed the little refresher for the start of the month.

I loved the characters and how they came together and came to be. It was a good storyline and wish it was a little bit longer filled with more funny quick witted comments from the characters.

I still ended the novella disliking Marketa’s dad as he just seems a bit controlling and too involved even though she’s an adult. But the animosity between him and Shawn gave this novella a bit more life so that was good.
All in all a good spicy read ♥️

I really did not like this book. What the fuck is wrong with her father? Not only is he really unprofessional towards his team, but he is also a manipulative dick. Like when he told her that Shawn was not showing up for her and the baby, when in reality he told the staff that Shawn couldn’t come in her room. And even after the fucked up treatment he gave them, Shawn apologized?! And not only that but they named their baby after him?! Like I get that you might be a bit upset at your daughter for keeping the pregnancy from you, but the baby wasn’t even conceived when they know that she was the coach’s daughter or he was one of his players.
Also the shorty nickname was really overused.

This was a cute little basketball romance novella. Of course I was gonna read it cause there really aren’t that many basketball romances, which I think is lame because basketball players are the best. I do think that this should’ve been a novel though. Just because Marketa and Shawn went through a whole lot in very few pages. I would’ve loved to see this fleshed out more. Both Marketa and Shawn are lovable characters, but their personalities just didn’t have enough time to develop. Their love was very sweet, don’t get me wrong, but it happened so fast. I just wanted to slow it down just a bit.
All that being said, I still liked it a lot. It definitely kept my attention and was a nice, short, spicy read!

Absolutely loved Shawn. This is a great novella about not letting anything stop you. After a one night stand with his coach's daughter and two pink lines. Marketa and Shawn work on what they are going to do and how they are going to win over her father. I love Shawn's perseverance to prove he’s in it. Their relationship and banter are great. Can't wait to read more from Theresa.
