Mr. Keller has been writing this series for some time now, and this one is number 48 in the series. He typically has fairly modern cases sprinkled with only two or three old cases. This volume had mainly male criminals, with only one female perpetrator. Additionally, these are not well known cases so as usual, I had to look up the cases to see if there were pictures of the victims. Mr. Keller usually includes a picture of the perpetrator but frankly, I’m much more interested in the victims and why they were victimized.
Well done as usual, and recommended for true crime fans. KU read…
Another excellent addition to this on-going series. All but two of the stories are centered in the US and Great Britain; mostly in the United States. One of the stories deals with a madman who operated in the same time-frame as Jack the Ripper and his tale is just as gruesome. Also, the story of Selena Quintanilla, reknown as the singer, Selena, is described. It is unusual to run across a famous person in this series and the tale is tragic, but not more so than the other victims amongst these 18 cases. Murder can take the great and the small.
This book kept my attention even when I was asleep! I would wake up in the night and I couldn’t wait to read some more…. I definitely enjoyed reading this and I def recommend it…
