This was nowhere close to how amazing the first two books were. I adored the main leads but I couldn't picture them as a couple bc there was no chemistry nor was there any spark between them. The storyline didn't do it either.

yuppp i knew they’d be my favourite couple.

i do wonder if there’s gonna be any more books in the series, i rly wouldn’t mind reading a book about Luca or Nadia😩

honestly i enjoyed this so much more than the other books, most likely because i love me a little forbidden romance moment but this was just… mmm.

A mafia princess through and through. She is strong and knows how to handle a gun. I liked her sassy character.

He is an obsessed man and takes his task to protect Sabina really seriously. Loved him!

Again another great story in this series. I hope the other Russo men also get a book of their own (please?).
The plot was action packed and entertaining. This was a quick read with just the right pacing.
Sabina and Nikokai are great together. Their banter was funny and both are sassy. I enjoyed their dialogue and the way both fell in love and cared for each other. The „snowed into a cabin“ storyline was cute and I liked that they got some time alone.
Overall an enjoyable and tension filled mafia romance with good plot and likeable characters.

Every book in this series has been better than the one before it for me, and this book blew away the other two without question!

I loved Nikolai and Sabina's chemistry, the inherent drama and conflict of them as a couple, and the different takes of their utter obsession with each other. Nikolai in particular had me from page one with his custom-made Batman costume, um, yeah. Sold.

I will admit I went into this story with concerns. Sabina had an attitude in the previous book, a lot of it aimed at Nikolai, and I was wary. I didn't want to read 200 pages of her stubbornly mistreating someone who hadn't actually wronged her, lashing out, etc. But I am sooooo glad I gave it a chance, because that attitude was not nearly the issue I feared and to my surprise Sabina is my favorite FMC of this series (so far)!

So I am here, finished with this book but not at all ready to be done with this couple... and hoping we will get at least one or three more books. Give us Luca's story, please!!

Wow! Becca Kane does it again! I can't get enough of this intriguing series!

I loved every page turning moment of this intriguing third installment of the amazing dark mafia series that surrounds the Russo family. The way Becca Kane writes you are pulled into their world and taken on a wild ride that has you on the edge of your seat the entire time!

This is Nikolai’s and Sabina’s story of enemies turned to lovers in a most unusual gripping way! Nikolai owns Sabina. Now she needs to put her trust in Nikolai. Her very life depends on it.

This book pulls you into their story from the very first chapter and you won’t be able to put the book down! If you like intrigue and dark Mafia romance, you will love this captivating tale. I for one can't wait to find out what happens next in this not to be missed series!

Even though you can read this book as a standalone, you are missing out if you haven't read the other books in this series

Dark Promise is quite suspenseful and definitely a page turning dark mafia romance. I didn’t want to set this book down for a single second, I was that captivated by the plot of this book. Not only does this book have a marvelous plot, but wonderful characters, and the final outcome was absolutely breathtaking. Author Becca Kane continues to show me what a phenomenal author, storyteller and writer she is with each book that I have read by her so far. I adored getting to know Nikolai and Sabina as well as seeing their story coming to life throughout the book. I couldn’t get enough of their remarkable story. I would absolutely give this mafia romance book as a suggestion to anyone who is looking for a suspenseful mafia romance book to read. I can’t wait to see what will be next from this author in the future.

I wanted so bad to read Nikolai's story and wasn't disappointed.
Sabina was a badass, even if sheltered by her brothers she's capable and a fighter and I loved how she gave Niko a lot of shit.
Niko was grumpy, a bit harsh but I liked how since he decided he wanted Sabina he was loyal to her and respected her when she rejected the proposal. Also, what a dick Roberto was, I thought there was going to be more drama involving him but turns out he was such a pushover it wasn't even worth any drama.
I liked the part about them being in the cabin together, and having to wait to be together (so it wasn't all that intense since the beginning). Also, the banter I loved.
I don't know if there's going to be a book for every sibling but I do hope there'll be cause I want to keep reading about them

Nikolai, despite his obsession, has kept his distance from Sabina for her safety. However, when her life is put in danger, his good intentions go out of the window.

Sabina thought she wanted a safe and surprise free relationship after the horrific death of her father. She should certainly not want anything to do with the dangerous and intense Ivanov family heir.

A fantastic steamy page turner of a dark mafia romance. This has plenty of action, danger, plot twists, morally grey alpha male and plenty of passion. Another fabulous story from this author.

Nikolai is a man obsessed with the enemy Sabina Russo, and when she becomes a target he takes her to protect her, being captive and in close quarters Sabina sees there's more to Nikolai that just the monster of a man, but will it be enough to face what to come. Well written engaging steamy captive, desires, obsession and more.

Becca Kane did a great job on this story, the plot and characters were written well, Nikolai’s and Sabina's journey was an a rollercoaster, many emotions, ups and downs and twists and turns, they were strong. The connection the two had was strong, they were drawn together, their chemistry was off the charts, they're good together, I enjoyed this story, it was great.

A well written mafia romance, with a good balance between plotline and romance! There were plenty of roller coasters and twists and turns i didn't see coming. Sabina and Nikolai had an insane chemistry and i could not get enough of them! A well thought out, fast paced story which i highly recommend.

This is an entertaining obsessed, alpha male, dark, mafia romance, book that hold your attention captive from beginning to end. The storyline is intriguing and dramatic as the elements unfold. The characters are well written with steamy chemistry together. I enjoyed this book.

This is probably by the far the best book so far in the Vegas Vicious series. Although it is technically a shorter book, NOTHING was rushed or out of the blue. Everything came out organically and naturally. This one had depth to the characters and everything made sense. And don't even get me started on Nikolai's devotion. I am anxiously awaiting the next installment in this series.
