James Hunt's passion for writing began at an early age. While his journal of yesteryear may never be the work of great fiction, he's been working hard every day since then to bring pages to life. James has well over a decade of writing under his belt, but his professional career in literature didn't take off until 2014.
James currently lives in Orlando, FL and when he's not pounding away at the keyboard you can find him at the theater or somewhere outside enjoying the beautiful Florida weather.
This was a fairly decent story, though most of the characters were one-dimensional. There were some minor editing issues…in the early scenes with Kurt and Delilah, it suddenly mentions a look on Luke’s face and Idaho is not northwest of Spokane. I do give some points for using a Fibonacci sequence. I like that it ends on a positive vibe.
This story is unique in it's approach. Based on a family of key characters I found the story To be Quite interesting. The importance of a family bond was greatly stressed and highlighted, Something we need more In our country today.
I really enjoyed this story. The author did an excellent job of not making the focus just the EMP, whip is devastating enough but, also about family and community. There may be hope for this world yet.
I am getting tired of reading poorly edited stories, not to mention ones that include totally unrealistic scenarios. I recognize these post-apocalyptic tales require suspension of disbelief, but that can only take you so far.
