Pucking Never is such an easy, fun read! I loved Grace and Jensen so much. This story is Grace and Jensen's love story. Do you believe in tate. Grace tinds so many reasons why this can not work, yet everything points to yes! The universe has its ways to point you in the right direction and when Graces brother Carsen asks her to move to be his social media manager she jumps at the chance. Little did she know a piece of her past is waiting for her there. I love the characters and plot of this forced proximity, brothers best triend, hockey romance. I'm detinitely looking forward to more of Katie's stories. Thank you for the ARC
*I recommend reading the prequel Pucking Vacation before this one, as it provides very necessary background to Grace and Jensen's history.*
This should have been more of a fun, brother's best friend, second chance romance where they reunited after 4 years and navigated finally learning who each other was to one of the most important people in both of their lives (Gracelyn's brother). But it lost some points for me with how dead set Grace was about not dating hockey players based on an experience she had been told about by someone else in high school. That guy was a POS, but it was also high school, and people do grow up and mature. And it didn't even happen to her, it was a second hand story about ONE hockey player. It was ridiculous to group all hockey players together based on that one story. I was glad when Grace's bestie called her on this, though. It was also a little hard to believe that Grace and Jensen never would've crossed paths in the 4 years since their week together. Jensen is her brother's best friend, and he never came around for a holiday or she never visited her brother at all? It just took me a little out of it that they easily could've run into each other over the 4 years, but then suddenly they're thrown together all the time unwittingly?
The spice was good, the tension was good, and the sneaking around was fun but it lasted a little too long for my liking. Just be adults and tell your brother/bestie. Jensen was in it from the beginning and he wanted to tell everyone and claim her, but she kept putting it off, which only lent itself to more misunderstandings and miscommunications. Honestly, Grace needed to grow up a little, and she was only in her early 20s so I guess that's fair, but it was still annoying.
I obviously had my gripes, but I did still enjoy the story overall. Just know that if you really dislike any of the above complaints, you'll probably be a little annoyed at Grace as you go. It's still a good, light, fun, spicy read despite those issues, so I would recommend it.
I received an advanced copy of this book and am leaving an honest review.
I loved this continuation of Pucking Vacation with Grace and Jensen meeting again. I loved how determined he was to continue their relationship. He knew that she was the one. I really liked Grace alot. as well and also Carson her twin. I cant wait to read more of the series.
Pucking Never is the first book in the Night Hawks Hockey series. If tells the story of Jensen and Grace, who met 4 years earlier, on spring break. After spending the entire week together, Grace leaves without warning and Jensen never forgot her. Running into each other, again, seems like fate but Grace can’t let go of her fear of being used and abandoned. Jensen just wants a chance to prove himself to her. I really enjoyed this story and characters. I especially loved Jensen, who was romantic and pretty sweet for a rough hockey player. He is a heartbreaker in the best way and was determined to break through Grace’s defenses. Jensen also happened to be Grace’s twin brother’s best friend. Keeping their relationship a secret from him seemed to go on a bit too long. As an ongoing plot point, it made the story drag some. Otherwise, the characters were great, the spice was spicy, and the ending was satisfyingly happy.
I recommend this book but I suggest reading the prequel, Pucking Vacation first, for better understanding and enjoyment.
After reading the prequel (Pucking Vacation), I was looking forward to this book. I enjoyed the fact that this story doesn't take place immediately after the prequel. The elapsed time gives a chance for more in depth character development, etc.
I love Grace's brother, Carson. I love how he believes in Grace, and pushed her out of her comfort zone in a way that truly allowed her to soar...
I loved watching Grace and Jensen's relationship develop. Their connection was so heart-warming, and I loved watching Grace really come into herself through her work for Carson and her relationship with Jensen.

Pucking forever de Katie Strong Serie Night Hawks Hockey libro 1
Argumento:
I recommend reading Pucking Vacation first as it gives you more background on the characters 😉 Grace had a plan: 1) Go to Miami with her V-card; 2) Find her an anonymous man to take her V-card and give her a no-strings attached week to remember. 3) Leave Miami as a satiated woman before he wakes, and no goodbye or number exchange. 4) Never look back and go on with life.
Grace's Reality: Almost 4 years down the road, Jensen is an every day recurring thought, and after moving to Denver, she comes face-to-face with him and realizes he is her brother's best friend, teammate, and she isn't the only one who remembers. On top of that, she just accepted a job working for her brother at the skating rink, which will put her in close proximity to him daily. They are now presented with 2 problems. 1) She can't let her brother know that Jensen took her V-card and he still wants her. 2) She still has feelings for Jensen too, but she detests hockey and has sworn off ever dating hockey players. Will Jensen be able to achieve his goal of gaining her heart, or are they doomed from the start? I like the way Katie writes both Jensen and Grace as strong-willed characters, not just with each other but in interactions with other characters too, especially when you think the situation you are reading about is going to go a certain way, then it doesn't. For being a book with puck in the name, it has a good balance of in and out of the rink scenes, which makes it nice for those that aren't really into sports but love the romance part of the story. If you enjoy a book about second chances and forbidden love, then this is definitely a book I would recommend as a good choice for you.
Their 360 Degree Journey to Forever - Life didn’t feel the same after Grace and Jensen’s week long situation whilst on vacation, but fate had other ideas in store for them, as they met each other again when Grace started working for her and discovered Jensen was his best friend. Jensen tried desperately to convince Grace to give them a chance at exploring a relationship, but her insecurities wouldn’t allow her to agree, so he decided to go slowly. Unfortunately, just as Grace made the decision to accept Jensen’s pursuit, a misunderstanding led her to conclude they weren’t meant to be together.
As luck would have it, the truth was accidentally revealed to Grace, which gave her the courage to fight for their chance at getting a happy life together. This was a truly brilliant take on a second chance romance story, that promises a captivating blend of emotional moments and scorching hot encounters, which makes it a perfect read for anyone looking to read a book that will have you totally engrossed all throughout the story.

This book was such a quick and cute read. The book’s premise is that our main couple had a week together on a beach and didn't stay in contact. Sometime later the FMC comes to work as a social media manager for her hockey brother. It's then she realises that the caption and best friend of her brother is none other than the guy she met on that beach. With the FMC having a rule of no dating hockey players, it was interesting to see the MMC try his best to win her heart and prove that he could be what she wants. The only reason this book wasn't a five-star for me was due to OWD. I didn't hate it much because the MMC would never entertain her, but there was a slight miscommunication which I didn't love as much, Yet it does get resolved quickly which I was glad for. If you are looking for a book with hockey romance, brother's best friend, brother's teammate, and a second chance, then I recommend this book.

Oh my goodness Grace and Jensen are soooo cute! A re-meet after the week long beach thing and here he is . He4 brother’s best friend and on his hockey team!? Is this a frigging dream. She has a loathing for hockey and its players but she went there already and they weren’t even going steady . He took her cherry and now with one look she turns to rubble…Darn it and damnation she can’t break her rule! If only she’d know his true identity four years ago… if only he’d known who she was but he still wants her of course. He’s not the one making a silly rule. Cos he’s no fool , just a man doing all he can. Oh man , this was a brilliant story and it’s worth reading Pucking Vacation to witness their meet cute. Awesome storytelling by Katie Strong. One look at the Author and I know I can’t go wrong. Well written verse and a lovely story. Believable characters that are well dialogues with a strong backstory. I’m leaving my review voluntarily in my own words.
This book follows the prequel Pucking Vacation and focuses on Jensen and Grace. I would recommend reading Pucking Vacation prior to this story just to have more background information about what led to this story. Jensen and Grace met years prior while on vacation and had a no strings week together before they went their separate ways. Now a few years later, they are reunited through Grace’s brother, who just happens to be Jensen’s best friend. Jensen knows that he wants more with Grace and is all in with her from the get go. It takes a little bit for Grace to get out of her own head and get fully on board but thankfully Jensen didn’t back away from what he knew they could be. This was a great story and a great follow up to Pucking Vacation.

Grace and Jensen met years ago during a spring break trip during college. She was just looking for a fling and to lose her virginity. Jensen enjoyed his week with “Lynn” and caught feelings, only for her to ghost him on the last day. Years later, they happen to reconnect through Grace’s brother Carson. Jensen immediately decides he isn’t losing Grace again and pursues her hard. Read the prequel and understand Grace’s reason for leaving but didn’t care for her in this novel. I can’t really tell her age,… she should be about 22 but they were drinking in bars 4 years ago, so I was confused. She seems very immature and closed minded . Jensen was great, good guy, team player, loyal and sexy. Very fast paced, some spicy scenes. A little family and other woman drama that is quickly resolved and leads to the HEA.
Cat’s Stats MMC/FMC- Jensen and Grace Genre- Sports Romance (hockey) Length- 180 pages, counting previews Heat-🌋🌋🌋🌋 Series? Y Safety? Y Tropes- Brother’s Best Friend, One Night Stand Returns, Second Chance, He Falls First, New Adult Mewsings What I liked- I like a He Falls First. I also liked the closeness between Grace and her brother. What I didn’t- Grace has a bad habit of stereotyping people and it gets really annoying. Her BFF even calls her on it. She was also such a Type-A personality that it made me feel a little stressed. And there were numerous editing errors that could have easily been avoided.

Grace and Jensen met several years ago during a spring break trip. Grace was set on it being a one time thing, but neither had forgotten their time together. Fate brings them back together as Grace takes a job with her twin brother and finds out he is Jensen’s hockey teammate.
I really enjoyed this couple so much. I read Pucking Vacation first but you do not necessarily have to read them in that order. I preferred it though. For a book on the shorter side, there was a lot of spice mixed in but it flowed with the story. I will definitely read the next book in the series to see what happens with Grace’s brother.

I couldn’t put this down! Grace goes to work for her twin brother as his media person and meets Jensen again. He just happens to play on the same team and is her brother’s best friend! Jensen wants Grace back, but she isn’t sure about it due to past hockey players she knew growing up. Jensen fights her every step of the way to prove there is something there and he is worth taking a chance on. Watching these two struggle and deal with her past conceived notions and his over the top controlling dad is an interesting adventure. This is a he fell first and hard, there is past traumas, lots of doubts, a protective brother, certainly some dominance, and loads of fun. Ready for the next book.
Great hockey read. You might want to read the prequel first, Pucking Vacation. It does give you an in-depth background story, but there is plenty of flash back fillers in this book to give you a complete picture. During spring break four years ago, Grace meets Jensen. After spending a fantastic week together they head back to their real lives. Not realizing their true identities, they long for the one that got away. Fate has other plans in store for them.

She hates hockey and hockey players, but here she is - working for her brother - hockey player. Will she back out of her rule "never date a hockey player" when after years recognizes her vacation crush as team mate and best friend of her brother? He is fully determined to win her back. Loved this sweet, steamy hockey romance, loved characters and Jensen's "game plan' for GraceLynn to give him chance. Loved their interactions, plays, turns and twists. Hope to read other books of series soon.

Some promises should be discarded. Memories of a short vacation with a hot love affair linger. Unexpectedly they meet again. Still attracted to each other, but Gracelynn lets herself be sidetracked by an old promise. It takes a bit long (too long to my taste) for her to realize this promise is an unnecessary hindrance. Jensen shows almost unending patience… A funny, romantic story, good for a few enjoyable reading hours.
This story was a bit of a cat and mouse game. Cute, steamy, great story. In the Prequel Novella, Pucking Vacation, Grace meets Jensen and decides she wants to have a fun spring break week together and nothing more once it's over. She ditches him sleeping, without a goodbye, only a note. In Pucking Never, fate brings them together again but not without inconveniences. Because of these, Grace fights Jensen's advances and attempts to reconnect with her. Until she doesn't lol. The story was good, I wanted to keep reading to find out more! The characters were great, Jensen was so good.. *drool*! Worth the read!
Jensen is Carson's best friend. Grace is Carson's twin sister.
Jensen and Grace met years ago in Miami on Spring Break and had a week to remember. Fast forward... Carson made the NHL with Jensen in Denver, and Carson needs a social media specialist, so he calls his sister... His sister hates hockey and hockey players. When Jensen skates up, thoughts of Miami come flooding back...
Second book in this story, we are 4 years later and we follow Grace’s life and it is a complicated one, she is an insecure young lady with lots on her mind, lot of insecurities that keep coming back to haunt her and invalid her choices. Trusting in love ain’t easy for her that’s for sure. You will enjoy every chapter of this book, it completes very well with the first one.
3.50 ⭐️. This was a fun, he falls first rom-com and Jensen is adorable throughout. I enjoyed the entire book. It was fast paced, had good dialogue and the chemistry was perfect between the MC and FC. A great book to pick up for a vacation beach read. I received a copy via Booksprout for my honest review.
Wonderful story of Jenson, a professional hockey player and Grace, a social media manager who meet on vacation (see the prequel Pucking Vacation) but go their separate ways only to meet again when Grace's brother hires her to manage his social media presence. Loved these characters and how they can't forget each other. Enjoy this author's writing style and stories.
This is an amazing story. The characters are wonderful and refreshing. I love the dynamic between all of the characters. You can really feel all the emotions through the author’s writing. The plot was beautifully crafted. I want to know what happens next in this little world. I can’t wait to read more from this author.
I thought it was going to be great! I like the novella and the next book. But this one gives a weird message, when no means actually yes and keeps pushing to a yes. I get the oh I know she is feeling it and she is saying no because of insecurities. But, every time she says no, he is like I'm gonna change her mind and kiss her to probe her wrong. I'm sorry but no is no.

This was a quick, fun hockey romance. Jensen and Grace are perfect for each other. I loved how, after 4 years, they were able to connect and still had that spark!

3.5⭐️ This one was a cute follow up to the prequel novella. I liked the characters and plot. The spice level in this one was pretty high 🌶️ however I do feel as though the story wasn’t anything to write home about. Definitely cute and a good read but nothing stood out too much to me in this one.
Oh geez! This is a great story of 2 people who met at spring break for a week of fun. 4 years later they met up again and started where they left off after some issues on Graces part. If you haven't yet read pucking vacation where their story begins.
This book is a light, fun, uncomplicated, hot read. It’s not life changing or complex, just a fast pace read with lots of spice. Really good for reading in a summer day at the beach.
