Al has taken care of the problem of Baron Jamison. He won’t even have to worry about convincing the crown he was in the right, as Emperor Eldridge personally witnessed most of the final confrontation which has all but guaranteed the now former baron will be executed. The Emperor is here to watch Al test his new and modified mills. Of course, Al’s monarch always seems to have more than one motive, and there is now a vacant barony to dispose of. Even the part of the barony Al actually wants comes with its own issues. Not the least of which are more chromatic dragons. The young earl is even starting to suspect what is happening in his county has much more wide-reaching issues than just his little corner of the Morlan Empire. One last issue for Al are the elves and dwarves. He’s opened up their historical homeland, and they are coming in ever larger numbers. Just the thought of needing to make sure there is enough food for them is daunting.
