I’m the bad twin, the one sent far from prying eyes. People like me don’t get happy endings.
My three years at the Omega Refuge are over, it’s time for me to stand on my own two feet. Except, how can I when the entire city hates me? I’m the cursed omega who destroyed hearts and tried to steal my sister's pack. I’m the omega Silver Davies, reviled, hated, scorned.
But there’s worse out there than hate.
We’re the pack rejected by the omegas we courted, twice. Silver is the omega who broke our hearts. We were glimpsing forever when she turned away from us. She’s not our scent match, but she’s our choice. We watched her burn in the scorching fire of society's tongue. Now she’s here, back again, no pack, no family, needing help, our help.
And we can’t turn away.
Silver’s secrets are as deep a mystery as we’ve always believed, but maybe with her, we can have a final chance. One last attempt to find happiness. And maybe we can pull her out of the flames too.
After all, third times a charm, right?
This is a novella. A short story set two years after the events in the Packaged Deal
Well now I feel bad for hating on Silver in Onyx's book. Shorter than the rest. I'm curious what Ian was getting through the bond when he was saying everything about her after he bonded her into the pack. I liked how West handled the heat fear. Not so sure about everyone crowding Silver after the truth came out or the singing musical vibe. Another new pack sounding like it was being introduced. Deals with sexual assault. Brandy was awful. Glad they got a happy ending.

I’m so happy Tea wrote Silver’s book, her story needed to be told.
My heart broke for Silver and all she has been through, a lot of her past actions were caused by trauma and I was glad the flashbacks gave a chance to show you Silver’s side of the story.
A fabulous end to a great series. Can’t wait to read what Tea writes next!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I'm going away with silver story and I am so glad we got her side. I cried so damn much. I kind of wish there was a tad bit more detail into the trauma with Pat boar's exit match and her evil pack but I am so happy that we got this story and also we got her point of view and everything that's happened.
4.5. I actually think I liked this one the best. it felt real and while I took a few days away from it when idk, maybe it slowed? but when I went back to it, it made sense. This book almost made me cry in parts and that takes a lot. my heart broke for silver. Thats when I know I enjoy an author when her characters are depicted almost real. This clears up a lot of confusion in the previous books and irks I had with onyx and the way silver was treated didn't quite sit right. And now we know..and boy was everyone wrong. The guys were all great. I'm so glad she gets her Happy. And while I didn't get the 'grovel' I do kinda like in page, I got the feeling it was in progress. everything wasn't tied up quite in a neat bow. the other thing I actually enjoyed was that while this was an omegaverse, but it wasn't endless pagefillers of spice. And the bond wasn't tacked on the end. The spice was handled well esp when you realise the history. Yea. I enjoyed this one. it's definitely one that made my heart hurt and then made it smile.
The entire time you read this you have NO idea what is actually going on or why... And then when you find out it was just so unsatisfying because of the way it finally came to light. Even after it was revealed what actually happened... it still didn't answer half the questions. (Which I assume is because they are given in a different book that I am not interested in reading.)
Gave me flash backs to being a kid in a car and asking "are we almost there?" and my mom would always say "we will get there when we get there." Which told me a whole lot of nothing with a whole lot of words. Same vibe.
The whole time you read you are wanting. Which I'm learning it Ravine's style after reading a few of their books over the last few days.
It didn't help that the mmc's literally sucked. A bond without consent, bully without grovel.. annoying.
I love everything Tea rights but I was so reticent to read Silver’s story because I knew it would break me. The saying that hurt people hurt people was never more epitomized than in the backstory of this traumatized and abused tender soul. There was so much healing that had to happen and the journey was viscerally raw. I cannot recommend Silver’s story more emphatically. She’s short one but packs a breathtaking punch.
There are some very dark and heavy topics covered in this story so please check your content warnings.
I liked how the answers finally came about Silver because I couldn't stand her in Onyx's novel and I was endlessly curious in Jade's but I really expected Jade to have a bigger presence in the story instead of always Missy, Scarlett and Hazel. Silver is supposed to be her best friend based on Jade's epilogue but she's more of an afterthought in Silver's story always pressing instead on the same females in every other story. Also I would have liked more than a novella here, to see and experience more.
That said for a novella it was good hence the higher rating.
Ok so now we get why silver did the things she did and it all makes sense now. This book is about second chances at life, friends, love, and happiness. Although I felt like this book was a little short I still loved it. Pack Vore never pushed Silver to do or be anything but her new self. They never forgot the feelings they had for her so it was easy to just get pulled back in, well for some. Silver was crying for help all along and no one knew. I didn’t like silvers character at all in onyx’s book but now I’m in Awww.
Tea Ravine knocks it out of the park again. The first book, The Alpha Arrangement, grabbed me in gut, wrenching emotion and this book did too. Loved seeing the insight into Silver after meeting her in previous books. Knew/hoped there was more to the situation than we saw. As always, the book was amazing, characters were superb, the love story was soo sweet, and a fitting end with 🌶️🌶️.
I only gave it four cuz am so mad about how silver sister dealt with finding out what really happen to her sister (it really needed more depth, just crying & saying simple things do not held the same complexity, especially when you find out that your sister was S*A). On the other hand, I loved silver's pack so, so much, they were really what you hope in a person to tell you are their choice.
I absolutely love this author. I have a thing where I pick authors and read one book. If I can get through that book and it’s good, I will read every book this author writes. I have not been able to put Tea Ravine books. I love how she can capture a moment in one book and the next she explains the reasoning why that character who was not the main one, was acting/feeling that way. 5/5
When we first met Silver she seemed to be a spoiled manipulative omega bent on destroying her sisters future. But is Silver hiding secrets of pain and wounds that no one sees, not even her sister? After her life implodes, she ends up in a place that reforms her selfish nature into an altruistic person who works to help abused and neglected omegas. Can she redeem herself and find love in a pack that isn't her sent match?
I always felt like there was something more to her than just the spoiled sister. You can see the pain just by your writing. I loved the story and am happy my husband sleeping right now or he would be wondering why I am crying so much. Lol thank you for another amazing story.
I didn't think I needed a Silver redemption story but this was good! It's been three years since the events of The Beta's Bargain.
Silver nearly sabotaged her sister's Onyx future when she pretended to be her in a disastrous scheme. This is a short novella but it covered enough to make Silver worth the redemption. We do learn about that she lost her scent matches even before she met them which makes her story more tragic.
I love that Silver got a redemption arc and that everything had a reason. I’m not sure about the scent match changing, but this was a good read. I’m glad we got to see some of the characters from the series again!
I'm glad to see sliver get a happy ending. Don't we all deserve that. We find out how bad she had it back then and why she did what she did. Second chance storys are a balm to my soul when I need something lighter to read.
Poor Silver definitely came a long way from being the evil sister. She deserved to tell her tale and she most assuredly deserved to have her pack. Excellent novella
