A must read
Author Morrison's book is really a must read. I think that the strategies for managing time and delegating tasks are incredibly practical. I loved the section on energy management, which I believe offers realistic tips to avoid burnout. The CEO Planning Process helped me structure my days better, so I really liked it. In my opinion, this book is perfect for anyone looking to enhance their leadership skills. It's filled with very good advice that can be applied immediately. I highly recommend it because of its clear writing and practical insights. It's truly a must read for any CEO or aspiring leader.

Effective Management

A comprehensive guide for CEOs and aspiring leaders. Practical advice is offered with actionable steps to help leaders become more effective. The framework proposed is valuable and the process is clear and can easily be implemented. I found Section 5 to be the most important. Morrison offers strategies for defending one’s time, running efficient meetings, and managing the feeling of being overwhelmed. By the end of the book, I had a clear roadmap for becoming more confident, and focused. I highly recommend this book to CEOs and aspiring leaders.

I have read some similar books about how to approach effective leadership but they have been lacking something. Going through this book made me realize that what I wanted to focus on was delegation and communication, which was one of the sections in this book. I found the specific ideas and strategies on how to accomplish this so helpful! It’s not easy for me to delegate and my communication skills are lacking a bit so I can say I definitely took something from this book.

Even besides that, it has some really points I’ve never thought before, like how to manage your energy to match your work. I tend to burnout real quick a lot so getting to know more about how to prevent it was very handy.

Overall, it’s a very well designed book that covers all your basis if you are looking to explore and develop your leadership skills.

Great book

Last year while starting my entrepreneurship journey I was really trying to find out how to start a business and how to increase my leadership throughout the process. That’s when I found this book that exceeded my expectations, and helped me to organize my work business.

I truly recommend this book to everyone who has had the same problem as mine, or just wants to increase their leadership and strengthen their entrepreneurship skills. I loved the practical advice that this book gave me, and the way that the author gave real world examples, that made the content practical and easy to understand. Also, this book covers a big spectrum of leadership topics, that would help both, new and seasoned CEOs. Overall, this book is engaging and accessible, with a conversational tone that would make anyone understand this book easily.

The Effective CEO 2.0.

A different way of working.
I think this book reached the next level compared to others that talk about the same topics. This book is about business, productivity and leadership but it focuses its attention on time management and I must say that it is great.
I have read a lot of books about how to improve a business and I think it is different and remarkable. I liked it because the author does not think about being more productive at any price but conveys the idea of maximizing our time to perform better and exhaust ourselves less.
I think it is more than a simple guide; it is a proposal to change the mentality and way of working. Great job!

This book shares with us a comprehensive guide to maximizing productivity while being able to manage the workload. It also helps you address critical aspects of being an effective leader. The book talks about key areas in your leadership that you should work on, including being more focused and effective and saving time. It also discusses effective delegation, where, if executed correctly, you can keep people accountable as you have communicated proper expectations for the tasks. The ideas about energy management and effective planning go hand in hand. For me, all the author's methods point towards efficiency. Mindset shifts are essential for management and employees, as the group is only as great as its weakest member. And being able to move like a well-oiled machine and in sync would make the company grow. The author is straightforward and practical with his advice, which is good as theoretical jargon often completes things; it would make you sound competent, but you need help to relay your message completely. The real-world examples in the book and the case studies the author presented help illustrate his key points in a positive light. The conversational tone helps us understand and quickly implement the concepts he shares. Throughout the book, he emphasizes practicality and ensures that whoever reads it can promptly implement it daily and make it a routine.
Some areas to improve are some diversity in the case study with other industries so that his advice can be more universal. And some technology integration might be good, especially on the delegation side. We have so many programs to choose from, not entirely relying on it but only to facilitate the actions. And lastly, what all business owners have issues with is balancing [personal and professional life. It would be a great addition, not a big one but a small part of the book, as this information is very crucial in the overall performance of the CEO.

Engaging

I liked that this book talks about the very common misconception that lack of time is the primary barrier to productivity, particularly for CEOs and business leaders. The book’s narrative style is engaging, which is possible through real-world examples with practical advice. It’s just really relatable.
The plot is all about the transformation of overwhelmed CEOs. They initially believe that their perpetual business is due to insufficient time. Through the author's coaching, they realize that their problem lies somewhere else. It is not the time management, but the effectiveness and prioritization. Jamie’s story exemplifies this. He makes clear how he transitions from a reactive, overwhelmed leader to a focused, productive CEO. He does this by learning to delegate and hone his focus.
The narrative becomes both personal and instructive. The writing style is direct and conversational; that helped a lot in maintaining my interest while also delivering valuable insights. I found that the book’s core meaning revolves around the concept that effectiveness is the key to productivity, and not just sheer hard work. I now focus on tasks that only I can do.
Emotionally, the book made me feel a sense of relief and empowerment. Readers who feel perpetually busy yet unproductive will find comfort in the following realization.

This is an ideal book for modern business leaders, a guide to managing time effectively, avoid burnout and always achieving a high performance. If you feel stressed and overwhelmed as a business leader, this is an effective guide to avoid this. This highlights are the key tools if you are considering reading this book:
1. Growth as a trap. The increased responsibility can lead CEOs to this trap, which overwhelms them with all the work and new responsibilities, instead of the assumption that with growth the CEO's job simplifies
2. Practical tools that the reader can use as a guide. There is highly practical advice for different aspects such as delegation, energy management, stress control, and strategic planning.
3. Personal growth. It’s clear that a CEO's growth is not only linked to the company’s growth but also to its personal growth, and having a healthy work-life balance.
This book is for all types of CEOs, gaining valuable insights to apply to their jobs and to their own lives.

This is an indispensable guide for any leader looking to maximize their time and manage their workload effectively. The book is divided into six sections, each addressing key aspects such as energy management, defending personal time, and solving typical challenges of the leadership role, such as organizing more effective meetings, among others. This organized structure facilitates the practical application of the concepts and strategies presented.
I give this book 5 out of 5 stars because it convinced me in every way. It provides reliable and applicable information in simple terms that are easy to understand and implement. The way it is divided into sections makes reading more manageable and allows for quick reference to the strategies that are most needed. I recommend it.

It’s not easy to be a business leader. As a CEO, you must put an entire company on your back. You hold the lives of so many people in your hands with the decisions you make, and it can be a nerve-wracking experience sometimes. However, it is possible to become a better leader through a meticulous process of trial and error. The more you learn, and the more knowledgeable you become about how to steer a business entity forward, the more your coworkers will come to respect and appreciate you.

Anyone who wants to become a better CEO should read this book. If you find that the mantle of leadership does not come easily to you, there is no better place to start learning about how to conduct yourself and what missteps to avoid and productive habits to start instituting in your daily life.

Good book

What I liked most about this book is the teaching about how in the business world you have to be constantly evolving and how you can build a team with an effective staff for the productivity of your company.

This book becomes addictive from the first page. It starts talking about the challenges that managers face today and how it provides strategies for each of those problems. It becomes interesting as it is not just theory but full of practical advice backed up by real examples of success. Personally I have read many books but this has been one that has touched my heart as I have really put all the advice and teachings to the test in the company and I have been able to see a remarkable change. I highly recommend it.

Game changer book!

Recently, I was promoted to Senior Manager and that was such a big deal for me and a great challenge because I had never had in charge people before. In the first month, I felt very insecure about some decisions I had to make and how I was handling everything, then I started reading this book and it was really a game changer for me. As the author says “your business will never outgrow your inner growth” so I focused on working on myself to feel more confident on a daily basis, to manage better my time, to solve problems in a more effective way and feel good about delegating to contribute to my team’s growth as well. This is my go-to book when it comes to leadership. Very recommended

I think it's a very interesting book that does not speak from the mere idea of being a good CEO, but about the importance of working on oneself to permeate that into the rest of the company one manages.
I am the owner of my business and the topic of growth has always scared me, although I am very clear that if I want to have the business I hope for, even if I have to go through many tests, the goals, the collaborators and clearly the income must grow. I really liked the entire section two about delegating. Personally, it is the thing that I struggled the most but I found in this text many tools that helped me understand why I am afraid of this topic and how to start letting go of things little by little.

This read by author Morrison is the magnificent third book of the series. This is a wonderful third part to close the previous ideas presented in the other books. I believe this book is an outstanding guide to increase productivity, time management and leadership. Along the pages, I could discover how to figure out where my time has the greatest impact and what point I should prioritize to grow. With this specific book, I learnt how to arrange my days to get the best out of them. Byron keeps the same writing style and good ideas and organization all along the three books. However, I see this book as one of the most organized one and the one with the best closing ideas. Thanks to his complete and specific yet simple vocabulary, I could follow each idea with no effort.

Enhace your Life

Thank you, Byron! That was my first thought when I read this book. Faced with the speed of everyday life and the high demand of companies in their jobs and the high competition in everyday life, not only in the world of work, it often happens that the individual forgets himself, to understand what his passions, strengths and goals are. It often happens that individuals forget about themselves, about understanding what their passions, strengths and goals are. This reading is a grounded pole for all those who want to take control of their lives. I find the narrative and the way it parallels a CEO of a company and being your own CEO amazing!  The author's writing is easy, and it presents an increasingly important, relevant and necessary subject matter.

Time management has always been something I have struggled with in my professional and personal life. The planning process introduced in this book has really helped me outline my professional life so that I can make sure I am accomplishing my goals and not just wading through seeming to get things done when I am not. The mindset strategies have really help me focus on following through with my “to do lists” and making sure I prioritize them appropriately. I have also started using some of the suggestions from the planning process to organize my personal life. I have found that prioritizing is key to managing my time effectively thanks to this book!

One of the many reasons this book is a pleasure to read is the author’s writing style- organized, relaxed, friendly, interesting and relatable. Page after page, I discovered and learned new information about optimizing productivity.
I found the whole book captivating, but if I had to choose just one chapter, I would say the one about effective delegation. I am particularly a person who finds it very difficult not to be in every detail. I never lose control of situations, because I feel that if things are not done by me, they will not work out well. This book really opened my mind; it made me reflect and understand that I must put more trust in my environment and allow them to do it!

For some time now, we have known that being a CEO involves a series of qualities and responsibilities to put into practice. But of course, it is also something that is constantly evolving. That is why author Morrison shares with the reader tools and strategies so that CEOs can manage their energy and avoid burnout, defend their time, and effectively face the challenges that their role entails.
I really think it is a very complete book with concise explanations, full of tips to implement. Furthermore, the author's approach is very accurate and easy to apply.
It is certainly a book that will help CEOs around the world, so that they can perform their role in the best way.

What I liked the most about this business book is that it is divided into six sections, so it's possible to jump right at the part you need, or even read it in a different order regarding your personal needs. Morrison starts simple, with clear concepts and basic ideas, but the book grows exponentially and increases technicality for the avid entrepreneur.

Even though there are many CEO books out there, the author writes with originality on this exploited subject. The section on Energy Management was by far my preferred one, presenting ideas I never thought about and that could help me to organize my time better,

something I'm not really good at.

This book is an excellent guide for CEOs and other business leaders. It teaches you how to manage your time effectively and emphasizes the importance of discovering where your time is most effectively utilized. This book also has practical advice on how best to delegate effectively. The temptation to micromanage is big for many detail-oriented business leaders, but this is not the most efficient use of your time. In addition, there is also a strong focus on communication and accountability when delegating, which is very important. These are only some of the important aspects covered by this very useful business leadership book. I am giving it five out of five stars.

A book that I would simply recommend to each of my colleagues. I liked the approach it takes to turn a standard leader into an exemplary CEO, who has worked within himself to be a real reference to his workers. Each of the sections is better than the other; it has the amount of information necessary to not only grow your business but grow yourself as well.
I highly recommend reading it more than once to really take advantage of this incredible information. I found the planning and energy management part very interesting. For me, the key part is to have a motivated team that is goal focused but which also has amazing time management, avoiding the burning out of your workforce.

Good read for the busy CEO

Good book for a CEO or business owner or entrepreneur who is running themselves ragged running their business and needs a bit of inspiration to hire someone or delegate some responsibilities to other staff in order to focus on managing the parts of the business that only they can do. It can be hard to give up tasks and jobs that you've been doing yourself, especially if you started the business yourself from the ground up, but this book helps you see that it's ok and sometimes necessary to hand off some of the duties to someone else. Good tips, real world advice, and stories shared here in this book.

More than a book, it is presented as an essential resource for people in leadership roles seeking to improve their productivity, time management and skills. It is a book with a very practical and structured approach. Additionally, it has helped me tremendously in building a clear and viable path to maximize impact and efficiency in business management.
The book is divided into several sections that provide tools and strategies of all kinds. I recommend it 100% as essential reading and I will share it with my work team, since with the experience of having read it, I am very clear that it will be very useful to them and will improve the human team of which we are in charge.
